Third Person's POV

We start in Seaside Island as Sticks scoops a bucket of water from a pond. She looks to her right and sees a cross-eyed moose, which growls at her "MOOSE!" Sticks said and drops the bucket and runs away.

*Later at Amy's house*

"Ready? This time for the record. One, two..." Sonic said as he, Brody, Amy, Tails, Turbo, Ralph and Knuckles hold their breath. A few seconds later, Sticks enters the house. Tails, Turbo, Ralph and Knuckles breathe "MOOSE!" Sticks said "Sticks! I was this close to winning a pointless game that has absolutely no significance! Thanks for nothing!" Knuckles said "I saw ... a moose!" Sticks said and they look at her "And?" Ralph asks "A cross-eyed moose!" Sticks said "So?" Tails asks and Sticks sighs "Crossing paths with a cross-eyed moose brings a curse upon the moose-crosser and her non-moose-cross friends! Don't you people know anything about science?" Sticks asks "Um, Sticks? Curses aren't real" Turbo said "Then how come you just lost the breath-holding contest?" Sticks asks "Cause you entered and started yelling moose" Knuckles said "You can doubt me, but I'll protect you anyway, because I'm a good friend, and because it distracts me from the government agents who are replacing my plants with violins" Sticks said and quickly glances to the left, and then to the right "That's right! I'm on to you, buddy!" Sticks said and storms out the door and slams it behind her, knocking a vase off the shelf and Amy breathes "My vase!" Amy said and Sonic snickers breathing and Brody coughs "I win! Heh!" Brody said. 

Later at Seaside Island, Amy wants to leave her house, but has difficulty opening the door. She shoves it open, revealing a bear trap outside "What the...?" Amy asks as the walkway is covered in mouse traps "Hey, Tails? Is your and Turbo's house..." Amy asks on her communicator "...Surrounded by Sticks's crazy traps?" Tails asks as he and Turbo are in a pit trap with bars on top "Yep. Sonic, Brody, what's up with you two" Turbo asks and Sonic and Brody are eating a sandwich "Just hanging out" Brody said as he and Sonic are hanging upside-down from a tree "We are no better" Knuckles said as he and Ralph are standing in a bear trap.

*Later at Sticks' burrow*

Sonic, Brody, Tails, Turbo, Knuckles, Ralph and Amy walk up to the door. Amy knocks, and a net falls onto all seven of them "This is getting old" Amy said "Yeah, and I didn't even get a sandwich this time" Sonic said and Sticks swings up on a rope, and jumps off in front of them. She lifts the net up "Okay. I know what you're thinking, but evil spirits didn't set this trap! I did! To protect you" Sticks said "From ... dangerous door-knocking?" Turbo asks "No! From the aforementioned evil spirits! Weren't you paying attention? They are bad news, baby! They'll eat your souls, chew 'em up, and spit 'em out!" Sticks said "This is nonsense" Knuckles said "Is there, maybe, a less intrusive way to keep us safe?" Amy asks "Well, legend has it that if we find a marmoset monkey with a white stripe on its back and a tail shaped like a double-ya" Sticks said "Shaped like a "W"?" Tails asks "Do you mind? Now where was I? Only such a monkey can remove the curse. So, what's it gonna be? Traps or Monkey?" Sticks asks.

At Seaside Island, Knuckles kick and break the log and carries it "Is this really the easiest path? Safer than... I don't know... That one?" Sonic asks and points at a road with a quick easy way up "Hello? The curse will get us if we are in plain sight" Sticks said "Here the bad luck won't get us and there's no volcanoes" Sticks said "And no logic, no common sense, no cookie machines" Tails said "I like security too but..." Knuckles said and notices he's on quick sand and is slowly sinking "Little help here?" He asks.

Later, the group tries to go through the normal ways like a bridge but Sticks insists them on going the least safe way like crossing a log over water and many more.

Eventually they reach their destination, "We made it!" Sticks said "Lucky we went the safe way" Sticks said but the others walk past her all dirty. They reach the house and Sticks knocks on the door and the monkey opens the door "Excuse me sir we..." Sticks said "Let me guess, you guys saw an cross eyed moose and you believe there's a curse" The monkey said "Yes I..." Sticks said "There is. Mine! My curse is that idiots like you all, want this and always bother me" The monkey said "We'll I don't break curses anymore!" He said and slams the door "How rude. Well let's go home" Sonic said "No! I'll be cursed forever!" Sticks said and the others groan and Sticks knocks on the door repeteadly "Help us please! please please please!" Sticks said and the monkey opens the door "Are you gonna keep knocking on my door till I help you?" The monkey asks "More or less" Sticks said and the monkey sighs "Why did I dedicate to break curses? Fine fine! I'll break one last curse" The monkey said "Thank you thank you thank you!" Sticks said "Don't make me regret my decision" The monkey said "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry" Stick said "Well, if you want me to break the curse. You and your friends have to prove that you're worth of it" The monkey said "How?" Brody asks "I'll give you a set of tasks to prove that you're pure of heart. If you complete them, I'll free you from the curse of the cross eyed moose" The monkey said "But I warn you, many have tried and none have succeed" He said "We'll make it no problem" Sonic said "Take this list. Finish it before 5, I have an appointed dinner" The monkey said and went inside.

The team started picking avocados "Picking avocados is suppose to prove we're pure of heart?" Sonic asks ""If this is what he wants to break the curse we should do it no questions asked" Amy said. "Now we have to squeeze lemons" Amy said "Technically, that's a question" Turbo said "Technically, shut up" Amy said. "Search the more mature tomatoes in the forest?" Brody asks and Sticks tugs his arm pointing at the tomatoes and they picked them up. "Crush them with the more solid rocks till you form a pasta" Turbo said "One moment" Sonic said.

Back at the Monkey's house, "We are making you guacamole" Sonic said "You sure took your time" The monkey said putting a nacho in the guacamole and ate it "I hope this proves we're pure of heart" Sticks said "Not yet. You have to wash these clothes in the most pure wa-" The monkey said "Do your laundry, got it" Brody said.

While the group washed clothes, Eggman arrived at the Monkey's house and knocked on the door and the monkey opened the door expecting to see Team Sonic but is suprised to see Eggman "I'm here because of a curse of a cross eyed moose" Eggman said "I no longer break curses!" The monkey said and closed the door but Eggman stopped it putting his hand on the door "I don't believe in curses but my accountant told me to diverse my business. I want to break curses and you'll work with me! Hahahaha!" Eggman said "No thanks" The monkey said "Really? My evil laugh is usually convincing" Eggman said as the monkey closes the door "Oh I see you want to negotiate? Here's my offer, robots attack!" Eggman said and badniks and surround the house "Eggman?" Sonic and Brody asks as they all arrive with the clean clothes "Never thought we say this, but we're glad to see you" Sonic said and Team Sonic start destroying the badniks till the Monkey walks out the house to see his clothes on the floor "Hey! You threw my clothes all over the floor!" The monkey said "What about personal responsibility? Bah!" He said "You're coming with me monkey!" Eggman said "Mr. Monkey to you and to everyone else too" The monkey said and sees two Crab bots and a motobug approaching him but Sticks swings by and saves him "Are you okay?" The monkey asks "I'm great, I love a maniac destroying my house. Are you nuts?" The monkey asks "If you don't want our help we'll find another marmoset monkey that wants our company" Brody said "I'm the only one but you're right. I'll do whatever you want if you get rid of him" The monkey said pointing at Eggman and Team Sonic take down the remaining badniks "Retreat!" Eggman said getting on his Eggmobile and flies away "Goodbye Eggface!" Sonic and Brody said "Look at this mess" The monkey said "You'll do anything remember?!" Sonic and Brody said "Right. You saved me so I'll break the curse" The monkey said "Great" Sticks said and walks up to the monkey and he does a quick chant "There. The curse is broken" He said "It's over?" Sticks asks "Yeah what did you expect? A party? Now leave, the guacamole won't eat itself" The monkey said going back to his house closing the door.

"I'm free!" Sticks said as Team Sonic is heading back "And we are free of your crazy curses" Tails said "Oh no! It's a purple spider with seven legs!" Sticks said "You gotta be kidding me" Brody said "It's 11 years of bad luck! We have to go to the lake of-" Sticks said and Knuckles swats the spider away "There! No more curse!" Knuckles said and Sonic, Brody, Tails, Turbo, Ralph and Amy sigh in relief as this chapter comes to an end.
