Eswon

Eswon is technically one country now, but it is often referred to as North and South Eswon. Eswon started as a colonization attempt from the other countries in Speculo. They feared if the land mass of Insanis was greater than the mass of the four countries, then a war or power shift could happen. Because of the large amount of land Eswon had to its advantage it began to request to use slaves from Prawana to help their economy. The King in charge at the time allowed it, and for a very long time slaves became the main source of economy.

As North Eswon advanced, integrating more magic into their technology they reached a point where they began to realize the danger Eswon was in. The Prawana slaves were learning more about Eswon, and a revolution seemed very realistic. In fear, the northern part of Eswon called for slavery to be disbanded. The south refused, too much of its economy had relied on slavery. Instead of going to war Northern Eswon separated from the south and outlawed slavery.

The south continued slavery until the slaves fully rebelled and took control of the state. When slavery became outlawed in the south, the north offered to conjoin back together. After deliberation, the south agreed and they became one Eswon once again. In that time the North had divided themselves into 15 states and called the 3 areas that South Eswon divided into states as well.

{Eswon has a total of 18 states, 2 main rivers, and 8 forests. It has mostly farmland and marshland. They are the biggest food export in Speculo. Eswon is very diverse and is known as a melting cauldron for its many races, cultures, and forms of magic.} 

North Eswon

North Eswon is a very technologically advanced area. It prides itself in integrating magic into most part of their lives, without reverting into chaos. Because of North Eswon's history, it is referred to a melting cauldron. A place that is incredibly diverse, and uses its diversity to its advantage. 

Southern Eswon

Southern Eswon is technologically advanced, but it is slightly less advanced than the North. It is less "diverse", but in its modern age is accepting of other cultures. It has many more large cities and towns than the North with a normal rate of crime, and not as many racially based crimes as the North. It is composed of 3 states with three very cut and dry environments. The South is filled with very rich and sometimes scary history, hidden in its forests, and charred grounds. During the time of the Overthrowing, Prawanians overthrew Southern Eswon government. From there they used Tawhil to combine the bodies of thousands of oppressive Eswon's to the body of fish. Which what slave owners primarily fed them. From there the slaves threw the newly configured creatures into the Horis river, creating Horisans.
