(Jayme's P.O.V)
When I got home, I noticed that the lights were on. That means HE  was up. I have a feeling that I would have more bruises for tomorrow. When I got inside, he was sitting on the couch.
"Well, looks like Little Miss Run-Away is back. GET DOWNSTAIRS NOW!!!"
Fuck. When he doesn't ask where I was,  it means I'm in for a long beating.

-THE NEXT DAY- (I FINALLY CONTROL TIME!!!!)
I was still sore from last night. He had given me more cuts, some near my veins on my wrists. I'm lucky he knew that if he cut there that there was a good chance I would die. He had also used a whip on my back. But that was early this morning. I am actually thankful when I get beaten at night. This is because there is a good chance that he will have passed out from drinking after.

When I had gotten to school, I was greeted by Miko. It isn't the best idea to "talk" to her when you have a secret. Or when she has something that she could blackmail you with.
*Hey Miko!*
"Good morning Jay!" I gave her an odd face.
*Jay? That was crazy last night wasn't it?*
"Yeah!! Oh and Jay is a nickname."
"Ok Miko!"
Just then the bell rang. We entered the school.

(After School)

Once we emptied out the school, I was sitting under the huge oak tree, watching people leave. I was waiting for Vince to leave, but I never saw him go. I thought that maybe he had left and I hadn't seen him, so I decided to get up and start walking home.

I don't know how, but he had gotten a hold of a bat.. and hit on the back of my head. He almost knocked me out. I just ran, because if I was late getting home I would be punished.
