AN- Since we went with 3rd Person POV for the last chapter, I figured why not one more time for this last one :)

3rd Person POV

With the battle over, it was time for things to start to go back to normal and for people to figure out what comes next for them...

After flying back to his farm on the Quinjet, Clint was able to reunite with his wife and kids.

In Queens, Peter Parker went back to school along with the other kids who'd been snapped away and reunited with his best friend Ned Leeds, greeting each other with their signature handshake before embracing one another.

*Everybody wants a happy ending, right? But it doesn't always roll that way. Maybe this time.*

In San Francisco, Scott and Hope watched the celebratory fireworks that were going on in the neighborhood with a grown Cassie who was happy to have her dad back.

*I'm hoping if you play this back, it's in celebration. I hope families are reunited, I hope we get it back, and something like a normal version of the planet has been restored. If there ever was such a thing. God, what a world. Universe, now.*

In Wakanda, T'Challa and Shuri were with their mother Ramonda as they oversaw the celebrations of both Wakandans and Chrysintheans alike from the balcony of their home.

*If you told me ten years ago that we weren't alone, let alone, you know, to this extent, I mean, I-I wouldn't have been surprised. But come on, you know?*

Xay and his father Waio had tightly embraced upon reuniting with each other and, after the celebrations were over, Zaruk had gathered all Chrysintheans, survivors and returned, to discuss what could possibly happen next for them all...

Within the next few days, the funeral for Tony had gone underway and everyone gathered to attend, standing and waiting outside his and Pepper's lakeside cabin home.

*The epic forces of darkness and light that have come into play. And, for better or worse, that's the reality Morgan's gonna have to find a way to grow up in.*

Inside the cabin, Pepper and Morgan along with Happy and Rhodey watched Tony's last holographic message from his suit's helmet,

*So I thought I'd probably better record a little greeting... In the case of an untimely death on my part. I mean, not that, death at any time isn't untimely. This time travel thing that we're gonna try and pull off tomorrow, it's– it's got me scratching my head about the survivability of it all. That's the thing. Then again, that's the hero gig. Part of the journey is the end.*

Hologram message Tony stood up from where he sat in the message

*What am I even trippin' for? Everything's gonna work out exactly the way it's supposed to.*

He kneeled down and was seemingly looking straight at Morgan as he finished his message with,

*I love you 3,000...*

Before the video ended and Pepper and Morgan walked out hand in hand in front of Happy and Rhodey down to the boardwalk on the lake.

Once they reached the end of it, Pepper let a wreath with Tony's first Arc Reactor in a frame that read "Proof That Tony Stark Has a Heart" float out onto the water as everyone watched solemnly from their respective team's groups, Ash with Bruce and JJ with the other Guardians, with even Secretary Ross, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and Harley Keener appearing.

Shortly after, Zaruk motioned to Ash and Xay to follow them to Secretary Ross and he saw them coming and commented,

"I suppose this is about you peoples' continued stay on our planet."

"A planet we have proven, this time more than others, that we are willing to protect it and its people despite the prejudices against us..." Zaruk noted with a serious expression.

"And there will always be people who will fear or even hate us but that can be said for anything and anyone humans find conflict with just because they're different." Ash added before Xay jumped in right before Zaruk finished with,

"But we're also guilty of hiding away when we should've been accepting that fact and moving past it so we could focus on helping people while living our lives instead of just surviving."

"So whether you accept it or not, we are here to stay on this planet and as long as there are people willing to fight alongside us for a common good, we will be here to defend them."

"Well luckily for you people, during the five years we all missed, myself included, a new accord was created allowing extraterrestrial refugees to seek asylum on this planet."

The three of them looked at each other in surprise before Ross continued with,

"So you can either continue to take refuge in Wakanda or establish your own village back in Oregon, similar to the Asgardians in Norway. Decision's up to you all..." Ross walked away as soon as he finished.

The three of them stood there for a few seconds before T'Challa, Shuri, and Okoye walked up to them and T'Challa told them,

"We overheard the new arrangement for your people.. "

"I just can't believe it's finally over..." Xay muttered.

"So where will you all go?" Shuri asked and Ash replied,

"It should be up to each of them where they'd like to go, I know a lot of the raid survivors made lives in Wakanda before..." Ash trailed off but they knew she was referring to the Snap before she continued, "But now that we have the opportunity to try rebuilding our society, I think some of them would like to take it."

"Just know that your people will always be welcome.. to stay or to visit.." T'Challa told them and held a hand out to Zaruk who shook it with a grateful nod as they replied,

"And we are indebted to you for it..." Before turning to Ash to ask, "Will you come with us to help with the construction?"

"Umm..." Ash hesitated for a second before looking over to see her dad talking with Steve and Sam as she responded, "I think my dad and I need to take some time off, bringing everyone back took its toll on the three of us.."

"I can respect that.. once we finish you will always be welcome there, after all you're the one who made it all possible."

"No I-I didn't-"

"You did." Xay cut off her stuttering denial before saying, "By being the person you are; someone who helps those in need, who tries to save everyone even when they hate you, and someone who sees the best in people no matter all the horribleness you see.. And now the rest of the world sees us for who we are as well.."

Ash smiled knowing her people were now safe against powers on Earth which would greatly help them in the long run against whatever enemies might be gathering off of the planet.

"We'd better get a move on." T'Challa spoke up as he finished looking at a message on his Kimoye bracelet, "A mission has come up for me and I'm sure you both would like to get back to tell everyone the good news."

"Thank you again for everything..." Ash gave quick hugs to T'Challa, Shuri, and Okoye before moving on to Zaruk and Xay until she caught sight of Happy and Morgan in the distance so she excused herself to walk toward them and started to overhear their conversation,

"How you doing, Squirt?" Happy asked her and she replied,

"Good."

"You good? Okay. You hungry?"

"Mmhm."

"What do you want?"

"Cheeseburgers."

There was a pause before Happy told her,

"You know your dad liked cheeseburgers? I'm gonna get you all the cheeseburgers you want..."

"Okay..."

"Hey there..." They looked up to see Ash standing in front of them.

"Hi."

"It's nice to meet you Morgan."

"Who're you?"

"My name's Ash, your dad was like my uncle so that would make me kinda like your cousin." Ash explained as she kneeled slowly in front of her.

"Cool." Morgan grinned a little as she leaned forward to give Ash a hug she stiffened to at first since she wasn't expecting it but then she returned it and put a hand to her back and head before they pulled apart and Morgan put her hands on either side of Ash's face as she told her while squishing and tilting her face around,

"I like your eyes."

Making Ash giggle softly as she responded,

"Thank you... not many people say that.."

"Well they should. They're sparkly."

Morgan released her face but Ash put a hand on her smaller one as she told her,

"I'll be around if you ever need me OK?"

"Ok."

Ash stood back up and gave a small wave to Happy, only having met and seen him a few times the few years before being declared an outlaw and spending the Blip, as people were supposedly starting to call it, in a temporal coma, and he nodded back at her as she started to walk away when-

"Boo!"

She felt an arm wrap itself around her neck trying to put her in a headlock and looked to see Xay there with a smile on his face as she asked him,

"I thought you were going with the others?"

"I told'em I'd catch up, I wanted a little more time with you..."

Ash smiled with a slight blush as she wrapped an arm around his neck as well and they began walking to the Benatar where the Guardians would take off to go pick up Thor in New Asgard so she and JJ were saying their goodbyes before they left.

"Ya sure yer gonna be OK?" JJ gave a side nudge to Ash with her elbow as they walked side by side up to the Benatar.

"It's not like I'm gonna be alone. It's taken me a while to fully realize it, but..." She thought back to what remained of her Avengers family and the other allies and friends she's made along the way before she smiled and continued, "I've got a whole lot more family and now that I've got you too, even if we're galaxies apart I know I'm gonna have support with whatever gets thrown at us next.."

"Well if ya ever need us or just wanna talk, you can comm me." JJ hands over a high-tech-looking device with a small screen and button keyboard that looked like it had been cobbled together from old Earth tech and futuristic tech she must've gotten from space.

"I'm guessing you made this yourself?"

"Yeah uhh..." JJ suddenly looked a bit uncharacteristically self-conscious as she admitted, "This is one of the first things I made myself after Rocket and Groot took me and I told myself that when I found you again, I'd give this to you so we'd always stay connected.. I never made any upgrades or edits to it 'til now..."

JJ turned it over to reveal that Ash's Ion Phoenix insignia had been etched onto the back and filled in with colorful metal.

"Well knowing my tech-smart sis, it's gonna work great." Ash placed the communicator in her satchel before hugging her and they stayed in their embrace for a few minutes before pulling apart, hands still held, as Gora walked up to them, sitting between them.

"I wish we didn't have to split like this..." Gora spoke up as a spine entwined around each of the girls' wrists in a three-way handhold.

"I know Gora, we each have our families to get back to, but that doesn't mean this is goodbye just... see you later..."

"And we'll always be connected..." Xay spoke up from where he wrapped an arm around each girl.

"And you better not break my sis's heart anytime now or in the future or yer gonna be hearing from me..." JJ warned Xay before punching a fist into her open palm making a few sparks crackle and Ash rolled her eyes slightly with a small smile.

"The day I willingly, of my own free will, hurt my Starlight is the day the sun implodes to darkness and my warmth for her dies along with it..." Xay monologue in an exaggerated showman tone with lavish hand gestures to match.

"You're gonna hafta comm me that story later." JJ side whispered to Ash and she held up her pinkie so JJ could wrap her forefinger around it just like when they were kids as she told her,

"Promise."

Pulling apart so JJ and Gora could start heading up into the ship and Ash and Xay could walk back toward the cabin.

"You got anyone like that?" Rocket asked, stopping them as he watched Ash lean her head on Xay's shoulder and he did the same as they walked away.

"Maaaaybe? You?" JJ looked down at Rocket without tilting her head down.

"Maybe."

Gora looked at Rocket with a knowing raised eyebrow look and JJ caught sight of Gora's spine wrapped around Rocket's wrist going down into the palm of his hand but he was holding it this time and she gave a small smile at the sight.

Before they both chuckled and headed up the Benatar's steps to meet up with the others and saw Groot who asked JJ,

"I am Groot?" (You sure you wanna leave? Your real sister-)

"Hey." JJ punched Groot's shoulder to make him stop before she told him with a smirk, "You're my brother too. 'Sides ya couldn't get rid of me even if ya wanted to." JJ managed to put Groot in a headlock and started to noogie him until he managed to get his hands up to her head to do the same to her but only succeeded in giving himself a static shock.

"See?" JJ laughed before finally releasing Groot so they could board the ship and fly to New Asgard to pick up Thor.

A short flight later they arrived and stood a couple of feet away from where Valkyrie was asking Thor,

"So, when can we expect you back?"

"Ummm about that..." He trailed off as she protested,

"Thor. Your people need a king."

"No, they already have one."

"That's funny." She laughed thinking it was a joke until she noticed his profound expression and asked in realization, "You're being serious?

He nodded in response as he told her,

"It's time for me to be who I am rather than who I'm supposed to be. But you, you're a leader. That's who you are."

"You know I'd make a lot of changes around here." Valkyrie told him.

"I'm counting on it... Your Majesty..."

Thor offered Valkyrie a farewell handshake that she accepted before asking,

"What will you do?"

"I'm not sure... For the first time in a thousand years, I–I have no path. I do have a ride, though."

He pointed to the Benatar and Rocket finally spoke up yelling to him impatiently,

"Move it or lose it, hairbag."

"C'mon you still owe us a stocked fridge!" JJ added remembering how he went through almost all the booze and snacks aboard the ship when they were first picking him up.

"Yes yes alright I'm coming." Thor walked past them retrieving his bag from where he left it and was walking back to the ship with Rocket as JJ walked over to Valkyrie with her arms crossed and a smiling raised brow expression as she asked,

"'King' huh?"

"That's right."

"You gonna be finding a queen anytime soon?"

"Not sure.." Valkyrie admitted before noticing JJ's stance and asked her, "You?"

"Eh not sure either.."

"Be seein' you?"

"Definitely."

They exchanged a side high five before ending in a fist bump and JJ gave her a two-fingered salute as she made it back onto the ship as walked in on the conversation as Drax was saying,

"You should fight one another for the honor of leadership."

"Sounds fair." Nebula spoke up but her attention was redirected to where JJ was standing next to her and they had an unspoken conversation as JJ gave her a questioning look that seemed to ask 'You good?' and Nebula gave a small nod before arching a brow to ask 'You?' that JJ responded with a hesitant nod and they tuned back into the conversation just as Mantis was saying excitedly while tapping her fingers together,

"Oooh, yes. Please, use kniiiives."

"Yeah, knives." Drax shared her enthusiasm.

"I am Groot."

"That'd be a show." JJ smirked.

Thor and Quill laughed in response but then Quill tried to laugh harder and longer to outdo him as he told them,

"Not necessary..."

"There shall be no knifing one another. Everybody knows who's in charge." Thor added making Quill glance at him and ask,

"Me, right?"

"Yes, you. Of course. Of course. Of course." Thor tried to assure him but didn't sound very convincing as JJ thought to herself,

'It's good to be back...'

Meanwhile back at the cabin, where a second Quantum Platform had been set up for the mission of returning the Infinity Stones to the past and Steve had volunteered to be the one to return them so Sam, Bucky, and Bruce were busy setting up the equipment while Ash was saying one last 'see you later' to Xay in the distance before he left for Wakanda and passed on a message from Shuri to let her know if her Kimoyo beads or suit ever needed updating.

After retrieving the briefcase where the Stones had been stored in, Bruce presented them to Steve as he reminded him,

"Now, remember; You have to return the stones to the exact moment you got them or you're gonna open up a bunch of nasty alternative realities."

"Don't worry, Bruce. Clip all the branches." Steve agreed as he closed the case and prepared to leave when Bruce spoke up again,

"You know, I tried... When I had the gauntlet, the stones, I really tried to bring her back..."

"We all tried..." Ash whispered from behind him before going to his side and leaning her head on his uninjured arm.

"I miss her..."

"Me, too..." Steve agreed softly.

"I wish I could've called her mom at least one time..." Ash murmured as Steve and Sam walked over to the Platform and they started to talk,

"You know, if you want, I can come with you." Sam offered but Steve smiled ruefully as he told him,

"You're a good man, Sam. This one's on me, though."

Steve walked over to Bucky before telling him,

"Don't do anything stupid 'till I get back."

"How can I? You're taking all the stupid with you." Bucky told him before they hugged and whispered to him,

"Gonna miss you, Buddy."

Steve assured him,

"It's gonna be okay, Buck."

Seeing that Steve was about to leave, Ash jogged over to him and hugged him but her powers tingled as she subconsciously read his mind and saw what he was about to do.

"Are you sure about this?" Ash whispered to him as they hugged.

"Yeah.. I am.. It's a second chance..."

"I hope you spend it well..."

"And I hope you get to be a kid for a little longer, enjoy life and the journey that comes with it..."

Ash smiled lightly as Steve ruffled her short hair before he walked up to the platform and had the Quantum suit form around him as Ash walked back over to her dad as Sam was asking him,

"How long is this gonna take?"

"For him? As long as he needs. For us? Five seconds."

Before speaking up to call out to Steve as he picked up Mjolnir to finish getting ready,

"Ready, Cap? Alright. We'll meet you back here, okay?"

"You bet." He told him confidently right before his helmet formed around his head.

"Going quantum. Three, two, one!" Bruce activated the machine and Steve disappeared in a flash before Bruce announced, "And returning in, five, four, three, two, one!"

But Steve didn't reappear on the platform making Bruce and Sam start to panic as he asked,

"Where is he?"

"I don't know. He blew right by his time stamp. He should be here." Bruce told him as he started checking all the machine's settings.

Ash stepped aside to let him work before going next to Bucky and they shared a knowing look before they turned to the distance as Sam started yelling at Bruce,

"Well, get him back!"

"I'm trying!"

"Get him the hell back!"

"Hey, I said, I'm trying!"

"Sam..." Bucky called out to Sam to direct his attention to an elderly man sitting on a bench in the distance.

Sam walked up to the two of them before Bucky told him gently,

"Go ahead."

Sam went to walk over to the man as Bucky and Ash shared a smile as he asked her,

"He helped you too?"

"He was the first one to really believe in me... even when I was just a really young kid way back then, he believed I could help people.. be a hero..."

Bucky nodded in understanding before Ash walked back over to her dad and Sam and elderly Steve started to talk,

"Cap?"

"Hi, Sam."

"So did something go wrong, or did something go right?" Sam asked with a slight smirk and Steve told him,

"Well, after I put the stones back, I thought, maybe I'll try some of that life Tony was telling me to get."

"How'd that work out for you?"

"It was beautiful..."

"I'm happy for you... Truly..."

"Thank you..."

"Only thing bumming me out is the fact I have to live in a world without Captain America..." Sam admitted making Steve realize,

"Oh, That reminds me."

He pulled a circular carrying case out from next to him, opened it to reveal his shield inside, and told Sam,

"Try it on."

Sam pulled it out after a few seconds of hesitance and strapped it to his arm before holding it in front of him as Steve asked,

"How does it feel?"

"Like it's someone else's..."

"It isn't..."

Sam tried his best to hold back tears as he expressed his gratitude,

"Thank you... I'll do my best..."

"That's why it's yours..." Steve held out his hand and Sam took it before Steve placed his other hand on top revealing a gold wedding band, making Sam motion to it with his head as he asked,

"You wanna tell me about her?"

Making Steve smile as he responded,

"No. No, I don't think I will..."

Back with Bruce and Ash, they decided their work there was done and were walking back to the Quinjet side by side as Ash asked,

"What comes next?"

Making Bruce think for a second before responding,

"Whatever life throws at us, we'll figure out how to deal with it.. Together.."

"No, I mean where do we go right now?" Ash questioned before adding, "The Compound's been destroyed so we don't have anywhere to stay."

"Actually I've got a place we can stay at for a little while." Bruce admitted before they boarded the Quinjet and he told the navigation system, "To the Mexico island lab please."

*Course plotted*

The computer announced and autopilot started to take over and the excitement of the last few days started to catch up to Ash as she fell asleep leaning against her dad and he looked down at her with a smile as he thought,

Don't worry Nat, we'll be OK... Thanks to you...

AN- Spark Sisters is officially complete!

I've completed my goal of finishing it before the year was over :D but now I need to start finishing up the ideas for "Rediscovering Home" and drafting the first chapters so be on the lookout for that in the coming months

So... I was initially planning an epilogue for this story but I realized I still have some finer details to work out for the "Rediscovering Home" original story as well as figuring out where in between Phases 3 and 4 it's going to take place (from the little reference right before this note you can probably guess one show it's before ^^)

Aside from that, I've got a whole bunch of art that I've done, both in art class and personal projects, that I will try to post on my Instagram and Deviant Art accounts especially some fanart for Elijah aka Not-So-Average-Fangirl and some Owl House Season 3 Episode 1 stuff (This mama was so not ready for the trauma...) so I'm gonna try to get to that within the next two weeks
