During night time, Zayn and I, were walking back home. I looked up to the sky and saw lots of stars. It was also..

"SUPERMOON!!!" I shouted and quickly tapped Zayn then pointed to the sky. He looked up and smiled like he was looking at gold coins.

"It's very interesting looking at it from Dark Hour" Zayn said. I turned and smiled sweetly. I had a feeling I looked prettier than usual. Zayn looked at me and used his thumb to clean my lips. He looked at it then saw pink lipgloss.

"I noticed during the game" he said and cleaned my entire lips. I was confused.

"Why?"

"You look better without makeup" he said said sweetly. I had never had anyone tell me that before. I always thought girls looked better with makeup.

"You think I look better with my natural look?" I asked him in surprise.

"Yes. I want to look at your face and see your natural look. No makeup" he said and made a wipe appear on his hand. He started to clean my face roughly. I made muffled sounds then shoved his hand away.

"Woah, that's not how girls clean their makeup" I said and snatched the wipe from him. Zayn laughed and looked back up.

"You know, if we're going to enjoy this super moon, you need to observe it from the Dark Hour view" he said and smirked. I knew he had plan.

"How does it look like from the dark hour view?" I asked and sat down at the front of my house. We had reached our destination. Zayn clapped his hands once and some sort of cube appeared. It was red and we were inside. The cuboid started to float. I screamed about but don't worry. We were standing. When we were up enough, Zayn touched the surface of the cube and everything became visible. It looked like we were close to the moon but we were not.

"WOW!!! THIS IS SOO BEAUTIFUL ZAYN. THIS IS SOMETHING YOU DON'T SEE EVERYDAY!!!" I shouted in excitement.

"IT CERTAINLY ISN'T!!!" a voice from below shouted. I bent down and saw Kate, my mum and Rina. It was my mum who shouted so Zayn took us down.

"My daughter was floating in thin air. Inside a transparent prison" my mother scolded Zayn.

"It was a protective Dark Hour cuboid" Zayn corrected her like a genius. My mum signalled for us to go into the house. As I stepped into my room, I noticed that the Dark Hour book seven sparkled a bit. I turned to Zayn and saw that he almost fell.

"ZAYN!!!" I shouted out and ran to hold him up. I walked him to my bed and sat him down. I sat next to him. Everyone gathered around around us and held Zayn.

"Demon boy, are you fine?" Rina asked in a playful manner. Zayn slowly nodded. He looked at me and smiled weakly but I didn't buy it.

"Does this have something to do with how you left Dark Hour?" I asked close to tears. Everybody looked at us in confusion.

"What is she talking about?" Kate asked Zayn strictly. Rina's facial expression told me she was really worried. My mother mother looked at me in great confusion. She had a pokerface going on there😐.

"Zayn, you have to speak up so we can help you" my mum said. Yup! I started to cry silently. I bowed my head and cried. Zayn sighed.

"When I first met Beth, the book on the table, Dark Hour part seven served as a server. That's how I came down. Beth and I are connected in a sort of way. All the books she owns are special. I think it's signalling me that it's getting close to my departure" Zayn said with a low voice.

"Departure? You're leaving?" Kate and Rina said and started to feel under the weather.

"More like disappearing" Zayn said. That made them feel worse. Zayn looked like he had remembered something then tapped me. I couldn't answer because I was upset. He held my hand and took it off my face - then pulled me into a hug. All that was going through my mind was..
'Zayn will soon leave me' over and over again. It was related to how I felt the first time before I saw Zayn.

"Did you finish the last line of the book?" Zayn asked me.

"No. What will happen if I read it?" I asked him with a cracked voice.

"Don't worry. It will just end the pain I'm feeling" he said softly. "As long as you don't read the sneak peek".

I walked up to the table with everybody looking at me. I held the book in my hand and looked at the last line of Dark Hour part seven.

"Zayn fell asleep on his bed and shut his eyes" I read out loud and saw the sneak peek on the next page. I looked at Zayn to see if my reading had helped in anyway. He slowly stood up and stretched out his legs. He smiled at me to tell me that everything was okay.

"What will happen if I read the sneak peek?" I asked Zayn. He playfully averted his eyes. I pouted. Why was he avoiding my question?

"Just come here" my mum told me. I dropped the book back on the table and went to my mum.

"Zayn, when exactly are you disappearing? You know, going back to Dark Hour?" Rina asked. Zayn looked at me and smiled.

"Spark" he said.

"What?" Kate said in confusion.

"The spark will tell Beth when I'm disappearing" Zayn said smiling. The more they spoke about Zayn disappearing, it made me feel bad.

"HOW?" I shouted and broke down in tears. Everyone turned to me in shock. Zayn's eyes got wide.

"HOW CAN YOU SMILE ABOUT THIS ZAYN? YOU'RE GOING TO DISAPPEAR AFTER SOME SPARK TELLS US. WHY ARE WE THE ONLY PEOPLE WITH A RELATIONSHIP LIKE THIS? I DON'T WANT YOU TO DISAPPEAR!!! I WANT TO BE WITH YOU!!! I DON'T WANT YOU TO GO!!! I-" I said but Zayn didn't give me a chance to finish my sentence. He swiftly attacked me with a hug. I couldn't stop crying. I didn't know things will end up like this.

"Beth stop crying already. Even if I go, I'll come back. I promised." he said and cleaned my face.

"I-"

"Let's make a promise" he said and stuck out his pinky finger. I looked at it in marvel. His pinky was adorable.

"Let's make a promise that we won't meet another person while I'm gone. That we'll continue to love each other until I come back." he said and brought his pinky closer. I stuck out my finger and we crossed it. My sister cut it and Zayn and I continued to stare at each other. He used his napkin to wipe my face then playfully pointed at me.

"Don't cry again" he warned me and chuckled. I nodded and smiled. Kate snapped her fingers.

"Why don't we go and watch that supermoon" Kate suggested in excitement. The last supermoon we saw was when I was class five. I watched the moon alone because Kate had stolen all my friends. I had no one.

"To make up for what I did." Kate said and held my hand. "I'm sorry"

My mum smiled and came to ruffle our hair. She was happy we were making up for the past.

"Of course. We'll look at it, Dark Hour style" Zayn said with an epic voice.

"WAIT! Don't tell me we're going to float inside the Dark Hour prison, cuboid thing.. whatever it is called" my mum in fear. She was scared of heights.

"Actually, my mother is scared of heights" I said and almost laughed. Zayn's eyes turned light red.

"I see" he said and smiled. He clapped his hands once and we were in the cuboid. Of course he wanted to do it the more. He was a demon. If my mum was scared of heights, he would take her to a very high peak.

"PLEASE. DON'T...." my mum shouted and Zayn set the cuboid to the sky. My mum shouted on our way up. When we were up, he removed the red colour and made it transparent. Once again, we were up at the beautiful sight. I went to stand beside Zayn. I measured the stars. It was soo fantasizing. My mum stood with shaky legs and looked around. She looked like she was about to die.

"W-W-W-W-What a w-w-w-wonderful sight." She said and..

"Bethany, your mother has fainted" Zayn said and cleared his throat. "At least we'll have peace and quiet"

I nodded fairly. He had a point. Rina looked up in soo much admiration. Kate came to stand with Zayn and I. She held my hand.

"I'll never forget this day" she said.

"Best supermoon ever" I said and looked at Zayn. He looked far away. He was deep in thoughts. What was going on in Zayn's mind? Everytime it looked like I knew him completely - it'd feel like I was far away. I held his hand and squeezed them them.

"What are you thinking about?" I asked him deeply. What was this new feeling?

"Beth. I want you to make another promise with me?" Zayn said romantically. I looked him straight in the eye.

"Promise me that when I go, you won't cry or be depressed" he said.

"I can't make such a promise" I said and looked down. He sighed.

"The reason is because I don't like to see you cry and- even in Dark Hour, I'll still see you. It won't make me happy. Don't you want me to be happy?" he said with a soft voice. It made me feel guilty. I couldn't disagree anymore.

"I promise" I said lowly. Zayn smiled and pinched my cheeks. We looked up admired the night sky.

"What of mum?" Kate asked out of the bloom.

"Don't worry. She's taking a short nap" Zayn said.

Four more chapters to the end of Spark. Things are starting to get really take a turn.
