Her flutters wide open as the brightness of the sun fell off over her face disturbing her sleep. Groaning loudly and peeping a little to stare her husband who slept hiding his face into her neck. Her lips curves into a small smile and throwing her legs over his body she snuggles into his chest and slept again.

Opening her eyes and half an hour later she muttered some cursed under breath and snuggling into his chest she wondered why couldn't she sleep little longer but realising she is not at Murthy's mansion but at Malthroa's mansion at her in- laws.

Peeping out from his chest and pushing him little away from her neck she stares his face who looks cute while sleeping. Raising her hand up she caressed his face and leaning forward she kissed his head and left trails of kisses on his face.

Ruffling his hair softly and adoring his features while he's asleep and taking advantage of his sleep she smiles and thought how he is flawless hot and sexy. Her heart and mind was already falling for him. Placing a another kiss on his cheek and coming out of grip she climbs down the bed and glancing back at him who turns on his stomach and slept.

She chuckles and covering him with duvet she shakes her head and headed to washroom to freshen up. Finishing her morning business she walks out of washroom wearing a bathrobe and headed to closet.

Opening the closet she shuffled through and deciding what colour of saree she should wear today. Her eyes stops at one place and smiling fullest she took the saree up and glancing towards bed where Manik was still sleeping.

She thought to change in the room itself and knowing he won't woke up any time sooner.
Her cheek crept with blush remembering how few days back in the morning she caught him staring her when she was getting ready in the room.

Bitting her inner cheeks and holding her blush back she starts getting ready. She picked up the necklace that Manik gifted her and wore it around her neck.

Picking up the vermillion box was about to a pinch between her fingers but stopped when she heard his husky and deep voice behind her. She turns around and glances at him who absolutely hot walking towards her with his messy hair and bare chest.

Initial few days of their marriage he avoided to sleep shirtless because he didn't wanted to make her uncomfortable around his presence but then she noticed it and told him she didn't mind if he sleeps shirtless. Last night was when he went to bed shirtless and her reaction was worthy to watch.

Keeping his eyes on her who looked absolutely stunning wearing the saree and getting ready as his wife made his heartwarming when he sees her as his. He stops her and taking the vermillion box of her and took the pinch of vermillion between his fingers and cupping her face with his one hand fills her hairline and dropped some of it her nose.

He chuckles lightly and rubbed it off and coming closer dropped a kiss on her nose making her heart thumping fast at their proximity. He then placed a soft kiss on her head and staring to her he crouched down on his knees making her shock.

She looks so confused and held his shoulder gesturing him to stand up but Manik shakes his head and taking the anklets from the table looks at her. He lifts her foot placing it on his knees looks at her.

Her heart overwhelms and her stomach was filled with butterflies. He made her wear the anklets and looking at her he stood up cupping her face.

He leans forward and kissed her head and letting his head against her head softly whispers while caressing her cheek gently.

Manik : good morning sunshine. You look so damn gorgeous. I just to hold you and never let you go.

Her cheek starts burn up and looking at him she immediately looked down blushing making him smirk. He chuckles and kissed her head one more time steps away and walks towards washroom.

He stops by the washroom and calls her name out who snaps her head looking at him. He smiles and said something which made her blush again. He chuckles and winking at her went to washroom.

Slapping her head and looking at the close washroom door she turns around looks at herself in the mirror and smiles widely seeing herself.

Chucking her thoughts away she went to bed and making the bed and taking Manik's office attire out and leaving out on the bed she took her phone and walks out of the the room while humming a song.

Descending down the stairs she found Raj sitting in the living room and reading the newspaper. Her friends have returned back to New York after the reception. She went to Raj and clears her throat.

Raj looks up from the newspaper and smiles at Nandini putting the paper away and stand up side hugging her and wishing her good morning.

Raj : good morning Gudiya. You look so pretty.

Nandini : good morning dad. Thank you. How come you are sitting by yourself? Where is mom?

Raj : she is in kitchen leaving me alone. Mukti is still sleeping and I don't even want to know what my son is doing so that leaves me being alone.

Nandini laughs out and decided to give him company. She sits beside him and starts talking to him till she thought to help in Neyoinka in kitchen.

Excusing herself she went to kitchen and looks at Neyoinka who was talking the butlers. She went to them and passed the butlers a smile and looks at Neyoinka who turns around smiles at Nandini.

Nandini returns the smile and hugs Neyoinka kissing her cheek from behind and looks at the food as butlers were making it.

Nandini: good morning mom. What is coming? Do you help my help? I can help you all.

Neyoinka : good morning Nandini. I was my babies favorite dishes. You don't need to help me. They will manage it. You come with me.

Nandini nodding her head follows Neyoinka shouted of kitchen and went to living room where Raj was sitting. They both sat opposite Raj and Neyoinka taking her phone out starts showing something to Nandini ignoring presence of Raj who frowns thinking what happened to his wife who seems to be ignoring him. He chuckles and starts reading the paper knowing his wife has mood swings anytime.

Mukti yawning loudly still pajamas comes down and slumped beside Raj resting her head on his shoulder and looks at her Bhabhi and mother. Raj putting the newspaper looks at Mukti kissing her head.

Mukti : what is happening people? What are you both seeing without me? Show me too please.

Neyoinka : Mukti what are you doing dressed in pajamas? How many times I have told you not come down like this? Go and freshen up. It doesn't look good. Nandini is Manik still sleeping?

Nandini was about to reply to Neyoinka but stops when she heard Mukti bursting into laughter. Nandini looks so confused and looks at her asking what happened to her all of sudden.

Nandini : Mukti. Are you okay? What happened?

Mukti : Bhabhi. Someone is going to die today. Look at Bhai is coming down the stairs not knowing what is coming his way. May his soul rest in peace.

Nandini deeply frowns hearing Mukti's words and turns around finding Manik coming down the stairs talking on the phone. She didn't understood why Mukti was saying this until she heard Neyoinka roaring and angry voice when Manik ended the call.

Neyoinka: Manik Raj Malthora. Where the heck you are thinking? where do you think you are going?

Manik stops at the stairs and looks at his mother who was fuming in angry resting her hand on her waist. He rolls his eyed knowing what this was bound to happen. His eyes glances around the room and found his father and sister shameless giggling to each other whereas his wife looked hell confused.

Manik : mom. Why the heck are you shouting? I can clearly hear you. There is no need to shout.

Neyoinka passed him glare including at Mukti and Raj who was giggling watching the drama.

Neyonika : you are telling me not shout. How can I can but shout? Look at you. Can I know where are you doing dressed like this? Manik I will murder you if you even think about going to office today.

Manik: mom. What is wrong with you? Obviously dressed in my suit I will be going to office not someone's funeral. Why can't I go or give today?

Neyoinka : you can't go office Manik. You can't leave your wife and work right after your marriage. It hasn't been weeks of your marriage and you are already going back to office. How can you leave your wife at home and go office? What will she feel?

Nandini looks at mother and son who was arguing. Now she understood why Mukti said those words. Manik looks at his wife who didn't say a word. He sighs and went to Neyoinka and held her hand in his and glancing at Nandini who blinks her eyes.

Manik : mom. I can't just sit at home and not go office. I have already taken two weeks off. My presence is required in the office. I have meeting lined up. I can't just sit at home and do nothing. I heard you and got married. I have done what you said to do but now I can't sit at home. I have to be in office. I promise I will be back home on time.

Neyoinka : you are exactly like your father. You are turning like him into workaholic. Can you stay at home with your wife for another days? You guys have just got married. You should spend time together. Take her out on dates and be with her but no you have to go office and lock yourself there.

Manik: mom I do understand what you are saying. I have already spoken to Nandini, she hasn't got any problem with me going back to office. I have already mentioned it to her. Mom about spending times together then when your daughter is ready to go honeymoon then believe me I will a month off and go with her. Your daughter is desperate to send me away. She didn't even stop for not going to office.

Neyoinka slaps Manik's chest and glares him for putting all the blame on her daughter whereas Nandini looks shock hearing Manik and thought to teach him lesson later in the bedroom.

Neyoinka : don't you dare putting all the blames on my daughter. I know my daughter she wouldn't do that. Fine I am letting you go office but come back home on time otherwise I will kick you out of the mansion and never let you come near my daughter.

Manik : mom. Why are you being harsh on me? Thank you so much being so supportive mother. Now can we please leave this topic and give me breakfast. I am starving and getting late for meeting.

Neyoinka : why are you asking me breakfast? Go ask your wife for breakfast. She is letting you go then ask her to feed you.

Neyoinka glaring him walks out of the living room and headed to kitchen whereas Mukti and Raj couldn't hold their laugh and burst out laughing seeing Manik's face. Manik shakes his head and looks at his wife who giving a look follows Neyoinka.

Mukti and Raj high-fives and smirks seeing Manik. Manik glares his father and sister who couldn't stop laughing. He went behind Mukti and smacks her head who winch and starts complaining to Raj.

Mukti : dad! Bhai slapped my head. It's hurting.

Raj looks at Manik and was about to scold him before he could he heard Neyonika's voice.

Manik : scared kitten. Not saying word when you heard mom voice. I feel so sad for you dad.

Raj : why are you feeling sad for me Manik? Even your turns will come soon. Do you think the stunt you pulled today, your wife will leave you like that.

Manik rolls his eyes and ignoring Raj words walks to dining table and tried getting attention of his wife who royal avoided looking at him as she held Neyoinka putting the dishes on the table.

Mukti and Raj also joined them and sits down glancing at Manik who was staring Nandini. They both smirked looking at each other and thought to pull his legs but stopped when Neyoinka came.

Neyoinka : Nandini you also sit down. We will help ourselves. Come sit with us.

Nandini nodded her head and walked towards Manik and Manik smirked thinking she will sit beside him but his smirk faded away when she walks past the chair beside him and went other side sitting down opposite him. He looks at her and frowns.

Nandini not looking at him starts serving for herself and starts eating whereas Manik stares in disbelief. His trance was broken when his phone rang. He took his phone out and looks at the caller id.

Manik: hello Arjun. Yes I am leaving. I should be there within half an hour. Yes get the room ready.

Manik ended the call and stood up from his chair without having the breakfast. Everyone looks at him.

Neyoinka : Manik. Why did you get up? Have your breakfast before going to office?

Manik : mom. I am sorry but I am getting late. I will have something in the office. I am going. Bye.

He didn't even wait for their response and taking his belongs walks out from there. Nandini looks at him as he walked away. She sighs and leaving her food she quickly stood up and went to kitchen.

Manik opens the car and was about to sit down but stopped when he heard her voice. He turns around and looks at her who ran towards holding a tiffin box in her hand. His lips curves into a smile seeing her concern. She stops running and pants catching her breath back while staring him. She gives him the tiffin box and looks at him who took it with a smile.

Nandini : don't forget to have your food while you are busy in your meeting. Please have it. Mom made your favorite breakfast. Come back home soon.

He smiles and nodding his head comes closer and cupping her face placed a kiss on het forehead.

Manik : I will. Thank you sunshine. I am also sorry. I know you are angry on me but I will make it up to you. I will see you later. Take care sunshine.

He placed another kiss on her forehead and sitting in his car looks at her who waves her hand at him. He smiles and rolling the window down waves his hand back and starting the engine drove away.

Nandini stood there waving her hand at him till his car was out of her sight. She shakes her head and smiling to herself headed back inside the mansion.
