After putting my stuff in my locker I put my earbuds in playing the Hamilton soundtrack.  I turned and headed off to lunch with a bag of Wendy's in my hand. I made my way outside to the tree that I sit in most days during lunch. Possibly because the leaves hide me.

I got to the tree and climbed up to my normal spot. From here I can see almost all of the courtyard in which we all usually eat lunch. I pulled out a few fries out of the bag eating them. I'd be giving the rest to a freshman that gets bullied and has to give his lunch money to his bully. This has been happening since the school started.  

Here he is, I give him the Wendy's and he walks away like everyday. After he is out of sight, I pull out my phone and start playing Dumb Ways to Die.  Not long after I start playing it I realize that the new kid in school is looking straight  at me. I thought he would stop but then he made eye contact with me and I knew he saw it.  He saw the pain and sadness in them.  At that moment I jumped out of the tree and booked it to my locker, opened it, grabbed my stuff, locked it, turned around and I sped walk to my next class. 

Why did he have to start walking towards me now I have to avoid him. Dangit not another person to avoid.
