Kid was outside,sighing. He was waiting for Stein to finish doing what he has to. You were inside,and Stein was searching for the source of pain you had earlier.

[Inside]

Stein was looking at your soul. The normal blue was there,but there were something that was piercing through it. A black spike. And he can't clearly see what it is. "Hmm… Maybe that's where the pain came from…" He sighed.

He was about to do something when your eyes shot wide. Your usual (e/c) eyes were replaced into a dark,red one with black pupils. Stein looked shocked,taking a step back.

(y/n) quickly stood up then grabbed a knife,pointing it at Stein. "What are you planning to do,old man ?" You grinned deviously,your now black and red eyes staring at his green ones under the glasses.

"(Y/n),you're not supposed to do that to your own teacher,should you ?" He muttered. You just made a wound in his chest,then left the knife there. "I don't care about the rules. I don't even know you."

(y/n) started laughing uncontrollably. Kid heard it from outside. "Is that…" He looked shocked,quickly opening the door. "(Y/n)—" He looked terrified as he watched Stein slide against the wall.

"Say what,Kiddo-kun~?" You grinned,going to him. Kid gritted his teeth,looking at your soul. "That madness… Shit,she's in danger…" Kid thought. He looked back at your changed eyes. He was surprised about it,but he knew it from the start.

"That orb shit quickly took over her soul… In a form of a spike stuff,it pierced her soul then made her suffer from the pain,then spread madness while she's out. Making her like this…" Kid thought.

"Thinking about something,Kid ?" You grinned,pulling his shirt collar closer. "Stop it,(y/n)… Fight the madness… Don't let that shitty orb take chances !" Kid yelled.

You were about to punch him in the face when something started making you feel weak. Like something's eating your soul slowly. You fell on your knees,clutching your chest once again.

"(y/n) ! What's happening ?" Kid asked,kneeling down to your level. You groaned for a while,before standing back up again while panting. "This isn't something stopping me… After that orb eat this girl's soul,she won't get back like how she was before…"

You mumbled,grinning. Kid looked shocked at the information. "And after that,I'm going to kill you !" She smirked,making the same bat-electric swor before. You were about to stab him when something hit your head hard,knocking the lights out of you in a split second.

Kid touched the cell's door as he looked at Sid. "Are you sure,Kid…? There's a massive amount of madness in there…" Sid sighed.

Kid nodded,looking determined. "I'm a reaper. I can fight more madness than normal people…" Kid sighed. He frowned when he heard your now crazy voice,laughing and talking to your own self.

"Just get back as fast as you can…" Sid said,opening the door. Kid walked in,frowning as he saw your condition. Your usual (h/l) (h/c) hair was now messy. Your smile replaced with a mad,devious grin. Your sparkling (e/c) eyes were now replaced with the creepy dark red and black pupils.

"(y/n)…" Kid mumbled. Your hands and feet have collars and is connected to chains. Heavy chains. Around your neck was a heavy metal colar,connected to the wall behind you in case you try and flee away.

"Hey,Kid." You looked up at him,smiling brightly. "What's up ? Are you here to free me ? I don't know why they kept me here…" You sighed,looking away.

"Shut up… I know you still want to kill me…" Kid muttered. Your bright smile turned into the mad grin before,giggling. "Cool one. And yes,you're right. I'm planning million ways to chop your head off in my mind right now."

You politely replied. Kid frowned,then let a long,sad sigh escape his lips. "I'll end this and get you back…" He mumbled before pulling you into a hug. You were trying to pull yourself off,but he won't budge.

"Then I'll tell you something that you'll get surprised with…" He mumbled before closing her eyes and kissing her lips,entering her soul.

He opened his eyes then found himself in a… Forest. He looked his eyes around,wandering. Trees were dead,and the whole place was colorless. Except the clouds cause it's violet. The floor was wet,mudpuddles were around. And fog blankets the whole place. "So this is how it looks like here…" He mumbled.

Kid started walking ahead,following a pathway. He stopped in front of a lake,looking around. He took a step near the lake,looking at the water. It was completely… Black. He dipped his finger in the water,making little waves.

"I think this is something beautiful if it has colors though…" Kid sighed. He suddenly glanced at a deep part of the lake,seeing something strange. Kid quickly went beside it,seeing a strange ball. He looked closer,seeing something surprising.

"(y-y/n)…" Kid looked startled. Underwater,you were stuck inside a bigger version of the orb. It was transparent (except for the carvings),so he can see you inside. Your face made a pained expression as you float inside the orb. Your hair fluttered around as you slept. You were wearing another set of clothes. You were wearing the same dress as Raven,but yours has an upper clothing. Kid couldn't care for now. All he thinks for know is being able to get you back.

Kid dived in the water before taking a deep breath. He got shocked when something called his name,causing him to open his mouth and lose his air.

That's when he realized,he can breath underwater. But something's strange. He feels weird. His eyes shot wide when he heard his name get called again. This time,it's your voice.

"(y/n) ! Where are you ?!" Kid frantically looked around. He saw the orb,so he made his way to it.

"Kid,you have to leave !" You yelled,going to the orb's walls. Kid shook his head. "I'm going back with you ! I won't let this happen to you !" Kid yelled.

You sighed,looking down. "You… Can't…" She mumbled. Kid froze. "Why ?" He asked. "You can't break the orb. If you do,it'll continue on eating my soul faster.. And staying underwater for 40 minutes will make you mad also !" She warned. "Go back and leave ! Leave me here !" She commanded.

Kid shook his head. "I got here 10 minutes ago. There's still a lot of time !" He yelled,looking around for something. "And I'll save you from here !" He added. You froze,looking at him as he tried to find a tool to break the orb.

"Look… Why do you even think on doing this ? You won't succeed !" You yelled. "You'll know… Later…" He mumbled before swimming deeper. He took a large rock,then started carrying it back to her place.

"Kid,stop it ! Don't make me feel guilty about this… I don't want you to get involved…" She mumbled. Kid got back,panting. "Trust me,I'll save you !" He grunted before moving the rock backwards. He gave his all the hit the orb with the rock. And luckily,the orb broke.

You gasped,watching the orb shatter. You quickly felt your feet getting numb. "K-kid,if I vanish here,I'll stay mad for the rest of my life…" You mumbled as you looked at your feet,seeing them quickly turning into shattered pieces of glass also.

Kid gritted his teeth,then grabbed your hand. "I won't let that happen." He mumbled before swimming back upwards,dragging you.

He got out of the water,panting. He quickly got on the land and started reaching for your hand. "Hold my hand ! I'll pull you up !" Kid yelled. You nodded,taking his hand.

Kid started pulling you out. But it isn't as easy as you think. The water was holding you back. The madness won't let it's prey escape. You took a glance at your lower body,seeing that below your waistline already disappeared. "Kid ! It's almost there !" You yelled. Kid gritted his teeth then started pulling you up with more strength.

He finally got your whole arm out. But the water still tries to keep you underwater. He grumbled,putting a lot of effort to get you out. Your chest started vanishing when Kid finally got you out of the water. Because of Kid's effort on pulling you up,he stumbled backwards.

When you got out,the water slowly returned your body to it's normal look once again. You both panted,smiling. "We made it…" Kid sighed. You smiled,absent-mindedly hugging him tightly.

"Thank you,Kid ! Thank you very much !" You smiled,resting your face in his chest. He sat up,using his other hand as support,the other for hugging her. "It's nothing…" He smiled.

Suddenly,everything had color. The sky turned blue,the trees had leaves and is lively green again,the lake had a sparkling blue color. Flowers started growing everywhere,as Kid started feeling grass under his palm.

"It's… So nice here…" Kid looked around,standing up. You got off of him,looking at yourself. You were wearing your usual clothes now. "This what my soul really looks like inside…" You smiled. Kid chuckled,holding your hand. "Cool." He smirked.

"Now let's go back. I missed that smile of yours." Kid smiled. You were walking when you suddenly stopped. "Is something wrong ?" He asked.

"Well… I'm scared… I might feel the pain I was feeling again…" You sighed. Kid smiled,putting his arm around you. "Don't worry. Now that I got the real you,you don't have to worry about it." Kid chuckled.

You huffed,crossing your arms. "And how can you prove that ? Can you see the future ?" She grumbled. "No. But I love you. So I won't let anything like those happen to you again." Kid smiled,kissing your cheek. You froze,looking at him.

"I-if you're playing games with me,I'll kill you…" She mumbled. "Psh. I'm not. So… Do you also love me ?" He asked,poking your cheek.

You blushed,looking away. "Yeah yeah… I do…" You mumbled. Kid chuckled. "I can't hear you~" He teased. "Fine ! I love you,Death the Kid !" She yelled,pouting.

As soon as you fluttered your eyes open,you looked at Kid. He was holding you in his arms when you both woke up. "W-we're back…" You mumbled. You were still feeling weak. "Yeah…" Kid smiled.

You tried to sit up,but your body feels too tired to even move. "Why do I feel so tired…?" She sighed. "That shitty orb was slowly eating your soul. But you'll recover after some rest…" Kid smiled,undoing the chains. He picked you up then started walking.

Your eyes started feeling heavy. You tried to stay awake,but your eyes won't just let you. "Sleep. I'll handle everything." Kid said. "You… Sure…?" You asked,looking at his golden eyes.

"Yep. Love you." He smiled then kissed your forehead. "Love… you… too…" She mumbled,her words broken as she started to fall in a deep slumber. Her eyes shut closed,finally having rest. Kid smiled then went outside,going to the infirmary to take care of you.
