Hoseok gazed down at the figure running across the lot, his brown eyes boring into the man holding someone bridal style and stuffing them into a car as the sound of gunshots cascaded around the area. 

Yoongi stood beside him, his arms crossed over his chest as he watched the same scene Hoseok was, his white hair flowed in the whirring wind around the area almost mythically. 

“I’m a baddie!” Hoseok suddenly comments, flipping his non-existent long hair as he looks at his soulmate with a sultry gaze. 

Yoongi gave him an un-amused look, as he asked Hoseok, “where did you hear that?” 

“Around, I'm hip, Yoon, get with the program,” Hoseok informs, his hip popping out and his tone completely bratty. 

Yoongi pushed him off of the building they were standing on. 

Hoseok, whom was currently falling, let his eyes morph into their fiery orange as his wings expanded from his back. They were completely black, though every time he flapped them it made fire emit from the source. With a roll of his eyes he flew back up to the rooftop, his eyes glaring into his lover as he let his wings go back into his back. His silk Black button up un-affected.

“Really, what if someone saw me?”

Yoongi shrugged, an obvious smirk on his face, “I guess they’ll think you’re hip.” he taunted, which had Hoseok frowning angrily at Yoongi's teasing ways. 

SeokJin just shook his head from where he was near the edge of the building, he stared at his blond doppelganger as he shot what humans called a gun, “800 years and you still bicker like you’ve first met.” 

Songhee, whom was standing beside SeokJin, her white and blue hair up in a high ponytail, laughed, “The fact you don’t expect it after 800 years is more concerning, Jinnie.”

SeokJin now resisted the urge to push her off the building. 

Currently, the four were watching their dopplegangers fight off what seemed to be their version of an enemy. In this universe Hoseok was a mafia boss and Yoongi seemed to be his lover and a fellow mafia boss along side him, Songhee wasn’t present in this universe, which she didn’t mind, while SeokJin was with NamJoon and Taehyung romantically. 

He smiled at the fact he was with one of his lovers, but gagged at the thought of being with NamJoon romantically. 

If Jimin were to see, he'd probably go ballistic.

It’s been 800 years since the fight they had with Jiwoo, and even then the memory was still vivid in all of their minds. After all this time, they could still feel that same fear they felt that day, the same anxiousness that had made a permanent home in their bodies.

Their journey had started in the indulgent hands of curiosity, and ended in the embrace of life and death, good and evil. 

If you were to tell Jung Hoseok that he was a Phoenix, and Min Yoongi that he was a frost dragon named the OneeOnia. They would have laughed in your face and kindly told you to fuck off. 

Though, here they were, the balance of one another, within them the original creatures of all elemental kind; both scarred, but standing by each other's side.

It was something Songhee and Seokjin couldn’t help but envy. 

Hoseok and Yoongi had each other, the person that completed them, the love of their life, was by their side forever and always and that fact would never change between them. Though for SeokJin and Songhee they didn’t have that luxury, they had to say goodbye to the loves of their lives, had to watch them age while they remained young (since they stopped aging once the Phoenix and OneeOnia were awakened like Hoseok and Yoongi), they had to watch them die while they lived on. 

Of course, seeing their friends pass was hard for Hoseok and Yoongi, having to say goodbye was something their hearts haven't completely healed from, but it wasn’t the same pain as Jin and Songhee. A couple years ago they had to say goodbye to Dion, the warlock living to 1004, which was an old age for a slow aging warlock.

Lolie they had to say goodbye to years before Dion, but it hurt all the same. 

Over the last 800 years Hoseok and Yoongi have done many things, along with their sages, they helped in combining the witch/warlock population with the elemental one, helping the two species live together side by side and not apart. Academy Initia expanded and was now open to witches and warlocks as well, the Chancellor Soyeon. 

Even in her old age, she was still kicking and running the Academy like the badass she was meant to be. Her and Moira had a big impact on the Caroban community, especially after taking part in killing Jiwoo and the BulMyeol coven.

Recently, SeokJin and Songhee had split off from Hoseok and Yoongi after learning how to use their abilities to their full potential, that was also around the same time Hoseok and Yoongi shifted into the OneeOnia and Phoenix form for longer than a couple hours.

While the couple stayed in Aesthete while Songhee and Jin explored the human world, both wearing a pendant that would allow them get back to Aesthete if needed. 

Elaine taught Hoseok and Yoongi how to shift in and out of the Phoenix and Onee form, how to utilize some of the creatures features like their claws and wings, which was extremely helpful in many situations, like if your shadow soulmate happens to push you off a building. 

The couple was in the form of the OneeOnia and Phoenix for almost two hundred years, they allowed the creatures to be with each other as themselves and not through their vessels, allowing them to explore the new Aesthete so they wouldn't fear it anymore.

Though, exploring wasn’t the only thing the two creatures decided to do. 

The OneeOnia is a female dragon, the Phoenix is a male, and Elaine guaranteed them they couldn’t procreate because they were different species. 

Turns out that wasn’t true. 

“Where is Elaine, didn’t she say she’d be here an hour ago?” Yoongi inquired, the scene with their dopplegangers already ended with the cars all speeding off, none of them noticing the four people standing on one of the roof tops because Yoongi had a mist around the area they were on. 

Hoseok walked behind Yoongi and wrapped his arms around the elder’s waist, he kissed his neck softy and trailed up to kiss his cheek before saying, “Give her time, you know how Fae is and she probably just found her,” he whispered, which had Yoongi sighing as he just leaned into his soulmate. 

Songhee and SeokJin smiled at the scene, because despite having to say goodbye to their own lovers, they were glad Hoseok and Yoongi had each other, and that they had them, their best friends. 

Right when Hoseok was about to turn Yoongi around to kiss him properly, they saw a white portal open up near the opposite edge of the roof, which had them all letting out relieved noises since they really wanted to go back to Aesthete and get out of the human world. 

Sure, seeing their doppelgangers from different universes was fun, but they liked their home more. 

Out came Elaine, who looked the exact same as before though only wore more ‘in with the time’ clothing, much like Hoseok, Yoongi, SeokJin, and Songhee did, and beside her was a teenage girl with white hair that faded into a fiery orange. 

She had sharp eyes, ones that resembled Yoongi’s and were a naturally dark color. Freckles decorated her cheek bones and she had a mole on her upper lip, her lips were naturally in the shape of a wide heart but when she smiled it seemed she had a combination of both a heart smile and a gummy smile. 

Just like her fathers. 

“DAD’S!” she screamed as she ran for Yoongi first, almost knocking the elder off of the building if he hadn’t caught her in time. 

Yoongi smiled, wrapping his arms around his daughter, “Hi, darling.” a warm feeling filled his chest as she hugged him back.

Hoseok smiled fondly at the scene taking place in front of him, his eyes showing nothing but love.

Min Fae was the biological daughter of Hoseok and Yoongi. No, Yoongi was never pregnant, he’s a man, but the OneeOnia is female and gave birth over those, almost, 200 years that he and Hoseok were in their creatures' forms. In which Hoseok and Yoongi were almost asleep inside of them. 

Fae was born a creature and turned human when her parents went back into their human forms. Her creature form was an animal with the body of a dragon though unlike the Onee she’s red and orange with deep turquoise eyes. Her wings are in the shape of the Onee though emit fire like Hoseok’s. Her tail is red though has dark, navy blue, scales. She was a hybrid of the Phoenix and Onee and they called her an Onix creature because of it.

In her human form Fae is a combination of Hoseok and Yoongi, her hair is white fading into orange-ish red to show the elements she wields, which are Phoenix fire and OneeOnia frost. Her eyes when using her ability are turquoise to represent the Onee, though she has the wings of the Phoenix on either side of her pupil like Hoseok. 

She is one of the most powerful creatures in Aesthete. So, Hoseok and Yoongi named her after one of the most powerful women they knew, Fera carling, which is why her name is Fae.

Fae is 119 years old and enrolled in Academy Initia, she aged like a witch who had immortal blood inside of them. Though, unlike those witches, Fae is immortal like her parents and would stop aging when she was around 123. At least, that's what Elaine predicted.

SeokJin and Songhee loved Fae very much, and she loved them too. They were her family as much as Hoseok and Yoongi were.

“AUNTIE HEE, UNCLE JINNIE!” she yelled as she ran up to them, Jin catching her and spinning her around, Fae laughing like a little girl as he did. One of the only reasons Songhee and Jin had returned from their adventures in the human world is because Hoseok told them about Fae.

When he put her down, Songhee hugged the life out of her, which Fae adored and never complained about because she was a sucker for affection.

Fae not only wielded Phoenix Fire and OneeOnia frost, on top of it Songhee taught her how to retain memory from water, which added to her strength. 

Wrapped around Songhee’s waist was Hayoon’s weapon, something she kept with her at all times and never let go; since it reminded her of her lover. Hee had also taught Fae how to fight with weapons, something SeokJin also partook in teaching her. 

Fae was someone they loved very, very, much and would die to protect. Even though if anything were to happen to Jin and Hee, they'd be fine since their lives are connected to the Onee and Phoenix, Yoongi and Hoseok.

The reason they hadn't seen Fae is because she was at Initia, and Elaine went to her so she could spend time with her family.

“Well, you old people, let’s get going!” Fae yelled, her tone teasing and a breath away from condescending, which made the others want to throw her off the roof despite how much they loved her. 

Elaine quickly teleported them all to a cliff's edge, one where no human would ever dare to go and one they’d never be able to reach. She only teleported them there because she knew what they were going to do.

Fae smiled her wide, beautiful, smile at her fathers, asking, “Who’s going to shift first?” her eyes were challenging, and she knew her fathers could read it easily. 

Hoseok scoffed, rolling his sleeves up and giving her that same look, “Little girl, we created you, sit down,” he was getting himself ready to shift into the Phoenix form, though Yoongi held him back. 

“You guys go first, we’ll catch up,” Yoongi explained with a wink aimed towards their sages, whom responded with knowing smirks before nodding.

Elaine rolled her eyes at their antics, even after 800 years she still never got used to it. 

Though she couldn't deny she enjoyed their company. Fae was like her grand daughter if anything.

Fae nodded, she readied herself before sprinting towards the cliffs edge and jumping off. Even if Hoseok and Yoongi knew she'd be perfectly fine, they still felt their breath catch in their throats for a second.

A roar sounded around the area before they saw her dragoness form fly up into the air, and even in that form Hoseok and Yoongi could feel the happiness radiating off of their child. Fae adored her Onix form more than anything and her favorite thing was flying around with her parents in those forms or even in general.

Fae reminded them a lot of Fera, and even Elaine confirmed she could feel part of Fera's spirit inside of her. Almost like a reincarnation but not quite.

At this point, Fae was their world, besides each other of course. 

Songhee and SeokJin both jumped off together next, the two able to shift into forms of the creatures they were created to protect. SeokJin appeared first, he was a completely maroon red bird, much like the Phoenix, his whisp beside him as he flew about; being a total show off like always. Songhee came next, she was an entirely blue dragon, a light blue that represented the sky on a cloudless day, her whisp was near the crown of her head like a pendant. 

The three went through the portal Elaine created, SeokJin going first, Fae right behind him, and Songhee last since they always kept Fae in the middle to protect her in case anything was waiting on the other side; Hayoon’s weapon was held in Songhee's large claws for when she shifted back to her human form again. 

Plus, until they found Fae's whisp sage, which they weren't even sure she had one, Hoseok, Yoongi, Songhee, SeokJin, and Elaine were her protectors.

Once they were all through, Elaine gave Yoongi and Hoseok a knowing look, “5 minutes,” she informed in a bland voice before going through the portal herself. 

Hoseok looked over at his soulmate, an eyebrow raised as he stared, “Why’d you hold us back?”

Yoongi shrugged, wrapping his arms around Hoseok’s neck, “I guess I wanted you to myself for a couple minutes.” he replied, his tone dropping down an octave.

Hoseok smirked, his hands on Yoongi’s waist, “Did you now?” 

Instead of answering, Yoongi pulled Hoseok down and connected their lips, the touch riveting and causing goosebumps to rise on his skin as his arms tightened around Hoseok. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks of the mountain they were on only adding to the serene mood that already enveloped them. Hoseok's arms wrapping completely around Yoongi's waist.

Yoongi never thought his idea to prove the fire and frost rumor false would lead to all of this, would lead to he and Hoseok finding out they had two very powerful creatures inside of them, to them helping in killing an a thousand year old witch, to bringing two species together, to having a child.

To being able to live the rest of his long life with Hoseok with him, to finding out they were soulmates destined to be together.

When they pulled away, Yoongi whispered with his forehead leaning against Hoseok’s, “I love you so much.” his cold aura meshing with Hoseok's harmonically.

Hoseok smiled, kissing the crown of Yoongi’s head with his eyes fluttered shut, “I love you too.” even after years of being together, years of saying the words and hearing them, it always felt as surreal as the first time. 

Yoongi smiled mischievously, he quickly pulled away from Hoseok and ran towards the edge of the cliff while laughing joyfully towards his shadow soulmate. Hoseok followed after him while yelling an aggravated HEY, since Yoongi kissed him just to distract him and so he could be the one to shift first. 

As the two free fell down the dangerous mountain, they fell deeper into their believed dangerous love for one another. 

Which all started with a forbidden TOUCH.
