99🔥Fasten the process

Fera was absolutely furious.

The nine were currently sitting in front of her, all of them embarrassed, all of them refused to meet Fera's gaze.

She had caught them trying to sneak back into the academy, and when she did she forced all of them to go back outside and sit on the grass like pre-schoolers and explain where the fuck they were.

She had been worried sick, she thought the worst of things could have happened to them. So when she saw them, she was both relieved and outraged at the fact they didn't tell her what the hell they were doing.

"Why didn't you tell me?!" she yelled at them, her anger wasn't playful, it was genuine, which hurt the people sitting in front of her.

They never intended to hurt Fera.

NamJoon opened his mouth, though Fera just glared at him, which made him shut his mouth just as quick. The question was rhetorical, she didn't want an answer.

"Do you realize how worried I was? I thought...I thought something really bad happened, and what if something did!?" she continued to shout, the ends of her hair on fire, but the others were used to it by now.

Well, except Ilsung, who was terrified.

Fera shook her head, defeated, she fell to the ground, on her knees. She ran a hand through her hair, calming the flames, "Have I not earned your trust? I... I've never done anything but help you guys and keep your secrets yet you don't tell me you're doing this? And on top of that Hoseok got taken and Songhee, Ilsung, and Jimin could've died if it wasn't for Hayoon." they had explained what they were doing before she started screaming at them.

All of them pouted at her tone, Hoseok crawling over to Fera and leaning on her side, "We didn't mean it that way..."

The others joined, all of them hugging Fera or hugging someone that was hugging Fera, Ilsung just watched the interaction with a fond smile.

"We love and appreciate you so much, Fera Unnie, it just slipped our minds since we were doing it the same day," Songhee explained, her head was on Fera's shoulder, the elder female stroking her blue hair.

She nodded, a small smile on her face, "Just tell me what you're doing, I don't know what i'd do if anything ever happened to any of you permanently." her head turned to Hoseok, who was on her other shoulder, the female kissing his forehead lovingly.

"And we don't know what we'd do if something ever happened to you." they all agreed, staying in that position for seconds more, Jimin pulling Ilsung into the hug.

Fera was like, and always was going to be, their fire momma and they were her fire babies; fire elemental or not.

"Mom she literally let them get away!"

"I did fucking not, you were going to kill them for no reason!"

"It would have kept their noses out-"

"It would have done nothing you moron!"

"Bitch-"

"ENOUGH!"

Akane screamed, making the two siblings back away from each other, both of them were glaring at each other so intently that Akane was worried her children were about to kill each other.

Which they probably were.

"Look, Donghan you killing those people wouldn't have done anything but cause more issues in the academy. Which isn't good for us!-"

"But mom-"

"But mom nothing," Akane interrupted, sighing, "Donghan, go to your room-"

"MOM!"

"GO!" she yelled, her eyes morphing to orange, which made Donghan gulp while running to his room.

Akane was a scary woman when pissed off and he didn't want to be on the other end of her anger.

The mother sat Hayoon down, talking to her daughter and asking her what actually happened since she knew her son was hysterical.

Jiwoo watched the whole interaction with an amused smile, she's known the twins since they were still in Akane's belly, so they saw her as their aunt and nothing more.

As Jiwoo watched Hayoon explain what happened to her mother, she noticed that Hayoon didn't have her ring on. This caused Jiwoo to raise an eyebrow, the necklace was still on her neck, but the ring was... gone?

With a suspicious eyebrow raised, Jiwoo went into her witch room, which Hoseok had previously called a dungeon, and shut the door behind her. She hummed a small tune to herself as she grabbed the bottle that contained pieces of Hayoon's hair, she placed two strands in a bowl, with that she added three drops of her own blood, 1 bell flower petal, and muttered some greek under her breath; when she opened her eyes they were completely black.

She found the ring with zero difficulty. Jiwoo used her hands to guide the shadow that was being used as her eyes, she looked at the girl the ring was on. She had blue hair that fell down to her shoulders, her skin was pale, and eyes were a deep brown. She was pretty, to say the least.

Though the girl wasn't what interested Jiwoo.

She made the shadow look at what the girl was, and Jiwoo's skin filled with goosebumps at the familiar hair and face.

"The Phoenix," she muttered under her breath, her focus on the man.

Jiwoo watched as the phoenix vessel kissed a shorter, pale, white haired male lovingly, the two laughing. She could sense the pull they had between each other, and knew what his white hair meant.

"T-The OneeOnia..." her breath got stuck in her throat when the vessel for the Onee walked over to the girl the ring was on.

"Let's go, Hee, I need my sleep," he said, a smile that showed his gums appearing on his face.

The two walked away, the Phoenix walking with someone else in a different direction.

A whisp sage, he was tall, broad shoulders, yet almost delicate features.

This wasn't good for Jiwoo, wasn't good at all. Not only was the Phoenix awake, but he and his shadow soulmate already bonded their shadows together, which explained why the Phoenix had called on his shadow soulmate in it's time of need.

It called on the Onee inside of it's vessel, even if the Onee is clearly dormant.

Jiwoo snapped out of her spell state when she heard a voice surround her.

"I saw that boy," Akane commented, her arms crossed over her chest as she leaned against the stone wall, "why take him?"

Jiwoo sighed, her hands dropping to her sides and eyes going back into their dark, dark, blue-ish black, "Those kids were lurking, he was the distracted one away from the group, easy target."

Akane scoffed, pushing herself up from the wall, "He's clearly not just some boy if he had you spooked and caught you off guard, Jiwoo, you're immortal, you've seen many things so for some boy to scare you, means he's not just that."

Jiwoo turned to the fire elemental, a soft smile on her face, "Gosh, you know me so well."

"Stop trying to change the topic," Akane stated, her expression not amused, "who was he?"

Jiwoo rolled her eyes, going back towards her table and laying her hands flat against it, "What you could have been if you were brought back naturally and not with black magik."

Akane raised an eyebrow, "A phoenix?" she leaned her body against the table.

"The phoenix," Jiwoo corrected, shaking her head softly, "That's all, we have other matters to talk about anyway."

Akane walked closer to the witch, she wasn't scared of Jiwoo, which was refreshing for the witch. Akane leaned her elbows on the table, tilting her head, "Which is?"

"How ready are you to kill your mother?" Jiwoo inquired, a smirk growing on her face when she saw the realization hit Akane and the way the female straightened up.

"You think we're ready?"

Jiwoo smiled, while nodding, "More than ready." Akane just nodded, knowing Jiwoo knew what that meant without her having to verbalize her confirmations.

Little did Akane know Jiwoo didn't want to hurry the process of them attacking the Academy for a final time because she felt they were ready (which they were).

It's because she wanted to kill the Onee vessel before the Onee could be awakened.
