"A Chaos Emerald! Does anybody know where they come from or how they work?" I asked as me, Chris and Tails stared at the emerald in awe. "Nobody knows much except that they're really powerful" Tails answered "I hope my analysis reveals something about its make-up" Chuck added. "I know you're in there, you haven't let me clean your room in so long I'm issuing a dirt alert!" Ella yelled from outside "oh no, it's Ella! Quick Tails, hide!" I told him, he jumped onto the bean bag and froze to look like a doll. "I thought I'd find you, two kids, up here! Hmmm, keeping this room dust-free is a losing battle, not that I'm complaining but it's like trying to vacuum a dirty road! I-Ahh!" Ella exclaimed as she saw Tails on the bean bag. "He's so precious! Is this your toy?" Ella asked Chris "err... it's my toy actually" I answered with a blush "aren't you a little old to be still playing with dolls Y/N? It almost looks like a real boy to me!" Ella said before Tails moved his eyes towards her. Chris snatched Tails up "I think... I'll go outside and play!" He laughed before running downstairs, me and Chuck followed and went into the garden "wow Tails, that was a close call!" Chris sighed in relief before we bumped into Mr Tanaka "Miss Y/N Master Chris, what may I ask is going on?" Tanaka asked "um, we were just playing catch with the stuffed toy. Bye!" I laughed as me and Chris ran ahead.

We then bumped into Amy! "Amy! You know it's dangerous to go wandering around here by yourself." Chris told her "I just saw a news report. It looks like they've found another Chaos Emerald!" She replied before dragging us over to the TV. "The strange energy spikes which seem to be coming from the Silver Valley area have played havoc with computers and machinery across the entire region." The news reporter said  "I bet that's a Chaos Emerald" Tails said. "You know, Silver Valley isn't very far from here. Let's check it out!" Chris exclaimed "no thanks I went there last week but if Eggman turns up Chris has my cellphone number," I said before I jumped to the roof with Sonic who also refused to as he had been there already as well. "With them gone maybe, I'll be able to nap in quiet" Sonic laughed. I stared at the blue sky, it reminded me of my memory how I was in space and looked down at the planet. I still can't remember who those people were though maybe Sonic was right and the Chaos Emeralds will help me out.

An hour or so later Sonic woke up from his nap, Bokkun, Eggman's messenger robot, land in front of us. "Message for you. Here you go!" Bokkun said before putting a TV in front of us, it turned on and Knuckles was looking at us and he didn't look too happy! "Sonic! I'm sick of all of your selfish stunts! This time, you've gone too far! I'm challenging you to a showdown! Meet me at Silver Valley in one hour. Don't be late!" Knuckles growled, "this was brought to you by the which is not responsible for its content, except this part!" Eggman said before the TV exploded and Bokkun flew away. "Knuckles is gonna regret that!" I shouted angrily, "wait a second isn't Silver Valley the name of that place where Chris and the others were going?" Sonic asked, "yeah we need to hurry!" I answered before we got cleaned up and headed to Silver Valley.

"Where's Sonic? He should've been here by now!" We heard Knuckles say as we arrived a second later "hey there, Knuckles!" Sonic said as he sniffed a flower "you're late, slowpoke! And what is she doing here? She isn't involved!" Knuckles snapped "well she isn't afraid to kick butt when my friends get hurt!" I retorted "enough talk, let's go!" Knuckles said  "oh relax, will ya?! We have all afternoon to duke it out, buddy boy!" Sonic joked "I'm not your buddy and don't forget it, smart alack! Now put 'em up! I didn't come here to sniff the flowers!" Knuckles replied angrily "that's your loss! You don't know what you're missing, but if you rather get clobbered by us-" I started "SHUT UP! Give the emerald you stole! OR ELSE!" Knuckles yelled before he made the first move and attacked Sonic. In response, we kept dodging his attacks as we continued to fight up the mountains. We ran up a tree which was then ripped from the ground, we landed on the ground unharmed. Knuckles continued to knock down trees in an attempt to crush us but he was too slow! The battle eventually took place back down in the ground me and Sonic landed in some water and started panicking neither of us could swim. "HEY, HELP ME! Huh?" I shouted as I realised we weren't drowning "it's lucky that we fell in the kiddy pool! Get ready, you're going down!" Sonic said to Knuckles.

"Hmph! Let's end this now!" Knuckles replied before we started fighting again, we heard an explosion so looked around to see where it came from. "It's Eggman!" I yelled, we both ran towards him and his robot "GET BACK HERE, you quitter!" Knuckles yelled furiously "we'll settle this later!" I replied before we sped off. we ran past one of the robot's legs and it crashed to the ground. "Hey, what's up?" Sonic questioned, "ah, thanks Sonic!" Chris chimed "it's not over, Sonic! My robot may be down but it certainly isn't out! Attack!" Eggman yelled as the robot got back up again, we dodged all the attacks when suddenly Knuckles kicked one of the cannons. "This is a battle between them and me! I'll fight my way!" Knuckles declared "by your way?! If you're going to insist on fighting a clean fight, then I'm going to start playing dirty!" Eggman replied before he and his robot flew to the other side of the lake. "Plan A didn't work so now we'll have to go to Plan B! Bring me the Chaos Emerald, or you'll never see your friends again!" Eggman threatened. "What is this? Eggman swore to me that all he wanted was to live in peace" Knuckles told us "he's sure tricky, isn't he?" Sonic asked, "that swindler, he lied!" Knuckles shouted, "you're catching on, pal!" I laughed.

"Sonic!" Eggman yelled "we all know that your weak spot is water, so I've stuck your friends over there where you can't save them without treading H2O," Eggman told us. "Yeah, that's what you think!" I laughed before we both ran along the curve of the land and dashed past the robot causing it to fall again "Show off!" Eggman yelled as we helped everyone out. Amy hugged Sonic and began crying "take it easy, Amy." He told her "I just knew that you'd come here and save me!" Amy cried before the robot got back up again "I'm not calling it quits yet, Sonic! You only had a preview of this robot's firepower! You and your friends are through! I've got you now!" Eggman cackled "let me take care of Eggman!" Knuckles said as we all took cover, I nodded and let Knuckles do his thing. Knuckles destroyed the robot and sent Egghead flying! The wind from the destruction of the robot hurled Knuckles away, I grabbed his hand as he flew by us. When the wind stopped a few moments later, Knuckles turned to leave until Amy jumped in his way. "I bet you want to apologize to Sonic  and Y/N for believing all the lies that Eggman told about him, and you probably want to thank them too while you're too proud!" Amy teased "ZIP IT!" He shouted before looking at us "later!" he said before walking off again what a knucklehead!
