(Okay, let's get back into the adventure!)

Sonic's P.O.V.

I feel poking on my head and blink my eyes as I open them. "Come on, Sonic. We got to get going!" It's Chip. But I'm so comfy. I nuzzle into a warm pillow as it breathes... Wait. I fully wake up and hold myself up to see (Y/N) below me. She sleeps peacefully and I can't help but stare at her. Her beauty... her messy quills... I gently caress her face. I wonder if I can- "Uh, Sonic?" Crud. (Dang it, Chip.) I jump back, "Whoa!" But I accidentally brought down the blanket fort. "Huh? Wha-?" I feel blankets get pulled off me and see (Y/N) looking down at me with a scowl. "There are easier ways to wake me up." She states. "Really? Because I recall you not being a morning person." I sass back. She narrows her eyes at me, and yet she's still beautiful. (He's lucky he's cute. 😤)

After getting out and having a quick breakfast, we meet up with Tails and take off to Adabat. By the time we make it, the sun had just set and I transform into the Werehog. "Wow~ This place is so pretty!" Chip says as he looks around. "Yep. I hear Adabat is THE place for an ideal tropical, at the beach vacation spot." (Y/N) adds. (🏝️ 🧉) I smile from that. Maybe we could stop by again... Just the two of us. I shake my head. Focus, Sonic! "Well, we can explore the place while seeing what we can find." I state. "Right!" She and Chip reply.

We run along the boardwalks of houses and make it onto a sandy beach. I look at the ocean while doing so. I do like the beach. Perfect place for a run. I look over at (Y/N) as she runs next to me. Or maybe a date. "Focus, Fluffy!" I jump and stop as I got splashed with water. I glare at (Y/N) while she laughs. "Ha-Ha-Ha! Good one, (Y/N)." Chip laughs with her. I scowl but then smirk as I run over to the water, and splash them with it. "Ah! Sonic!" I just smile innocently. "What? You looked like you needed a cool down." I reply. She huffs then walks off. "Come on, Chip." She says. I roll my eyes, "Aw, come on. I was playing around." Chip looks back and waves at me, but (Y/N) ignores me. That girl. (And he loves her~)

Third Person P.O.V.

The gang traverse the sandy beaches of Adabat as they encounter creatures of Dark Gaia. Sonic and (Y/N) making quick work of them as they sliced them up. (Y/N) with her blades and Sonic with his claws. They walk across the water on platforms, docks or fling themselves across with poles.

They encounter and large dark creature and Sonic has his hands locked with the creature's. "Ergh!" He grunts as the creature holds him tightly. But then (Y/N) appears between them as she readies her staff and swings it upwards, hitting the thing's chin and it roars in pain. It lets go of Sonic and he then jumps and dives into its mouth. He grunts from the hits on the inside then Sonic jumps out of its mouth as it falls back and evaporates. He rolls his head along his shoulders. "I still don't know how you manage that." (Y/N) says in disgust. (Blegh!) Sonic only responds with a shrug of his shoulder.

The two continue on as they climbed their way up and across. They deal with more dark creatures that blocked a stone-carved gate. Sonic grabs two minis and uses them to punch others. He throws one up and (Y/N) jumps as she bats it with her staff. It hitting a horned creature which knocked it off balance then got landed on hard by Sonic with his spiked shoes. It disappears and Sonic crushes the mini in his hands as he as (Y/N) lands next to him. She then sees a red gemstone and looks around until she finds a pedestal. "Hey, I think I know how we can open this thing." She says. Sonic walks over and grabs the gemstone and places it on the pedestal. It activates something and the two's ears flicker as they look to see a lever on an edge. "Well, that's a little inconvenient." Sonic comments. (Yeah, who designed these things?)

He makes his way up and pulls the lever which opens the doors and the two go through it. Only to come upon an area with a waterfall at the end, but a large, club-wielding dark creature too. (Y/N) looks up to see some flying dark creature. "Send me up!" She exclaims, and Sonic locks his hands as she places her foot on them then sends her into the air. She lands on one and it tries to shake her off but she keeps a tight grip and focuses on the other two as she takes out her staff.

Sonic charges at the giant creature and does a drill attack. He grunts as it is hit and angrily swings its club down. Sonic avoids it then pulls back his fist and punches the creature which disorients it. He then jumps and closes his hands together and throws them down onto the creature's head. He lands behind it and grabs it by its waist, lifts it up and slams it behind him. The creature lets go of its club and evaporates. Sonic rolls his shoulders then hears something land on the ground and sees it is a round creature, then jumps back as (Y/N) lands and stabs her staff in it. (Brutal.)

"Hey, guys!" They look up to see Chip appear as he flies down at them. "There are some panels all over this place. I think we need to press down on them." He says. "Shows where they are, little guy." (Y/N) says with a smirk. Chip nods his head then leads the two to where the panels are. (Y/N) holds onto Sonic as he climbs up then the two stand on the panels which switches them from white to blue. Once all of them were switched, the waterfall stops and reveals a room was hidden behind it. Sonic and (Y/N) land on the ground as Chip flies over to the room.

He returns to them and presents the key. "Sweet! Let's head back and tell Tails." (Y/N) says, ruffling the fluff on Chip's head. He laughs from that then the group make their way back to the town.

Upon returning, they find Tails at the bar in the center of the houses and he waves them over. (Who wants a drink?) (Y/N) sits on Tails left with Sonic sitting next to her while Chip sat on the bar itself and the man tending the bar sets down four drinks for them. Chip slurps up his drink as he smiles from the taste while (Y/N) hands over the key to Tails. "Here ya go, buddy. Another key down." She says. Tails takes the key, "We're getting closer to restoring the world." He says.

Sonic sips his drink as he smiles at seeing (Y/N) and Tails talk. Tails says a joke and (Y/N) laughs as she ruffles his head, making him laugh and gently push her hand away. He finishes his drink then takes (Y/N)'s drink. "Hey! That's mine!" (Y/N) states and goes to take her drink back. Sonic chuckles and holds it away from her, but she does not give up and tries to get it back. Tails chuckles quietly while Chip takes the opportunity to snap a picture of (Y/N) climbing Sonic while he hold her drink away. (📸)
