(Okay, read for a wild ride~? If not, Too Bad! 😝)

Third Person P.O.V.

The three take a quick moment to ready then make their way through Eggmanland. They avoid lasers, bash bots and run off ramps. Sonic grabs onto (Y/N) as he soars through the sky then the two separate as they grind on rails. They soon land on a pathway and deal with rocket launcher robots. They fire at them but (Y/N) takes out her staff and redirects them with strong swings while Sonic spins around them, messing with their targeting systems until they fired at each other.

The two race off once more until they come upon a large and strange hourglass. The top had a sun while the bottom had a moon. Chip appears next to them as he observed from a distance. "The sky is blocked which makes it difficult to know when it is day or night. But due to Dark Gaia's power along with my own, you can switch it to determine when it is day or night." Chip informs them. (Thanks for the info, Chip!) "Well, let's play some celestial roulette." Sonic states. (Y/N) nods and spins her staff, swing it at the hourglass. It flips around to have the moon on top and Sonic transforms into the Werehog. "Let's go!" He pulls a lever, opening a gate and the group continues onward.

They take out bots with Sonic using his strength and claws while (Y/N) used her blades to slice them up and stab into their systems. They scale up on buildings and had to hitch a ride on a large bucket that moves on a conveyer belt. They dropped off on a podium and had to take out all the bots to gain access to another lever all the while avoiding large buckets of molten hot metal. (Y/N) jumps back to avoid a swing of a club then looks to see one of those buckets. "Hey! You call yourself a swinger when you can't land a hit!" She baits the bot and it charges at her. She smirks and jumps before it could hit her. She front flips and pushes its back, it falling into the molten metal and shorts out before exploding. (And that is how you do.)

Once all were out, Sonic flipped the lever and activated a platform for which the two used to ride up onto a path and Sonic flipped another hourglass. He transforms into his hedgehog self and picks up (Y/N) as he carries her then speeds off. They speed past and avoid obstacles, (Y/N) throwing her blade at a bat-bot as it stabs into it and explodes. The two climb up the walls while also not getting shocked or sawed. Sonic ground pounds through crates and he and (Y/N) ride through a tube which ends with them on a roller coaster as they sped down the tracks. (Woo-Hoo!)

They end up outside and the cart they are in rides along in a path which they ran into bots and (Y/N) uses her staff to have them jump lasers if they could not slide pass them in time. They avoided rotating pillars and soon abandoned the cart as Sonic holds onto (Y/N) as he boosts and soars them rough the air pass more statues of Eggman. (Y/N) rolls her eyes, "And I thought you had an ego." She comments. "At least I don't build an amusement park based on me." He counters. "Would be better than this, if you did." She responds. (She's got a point.☝️) Sonic smiles at her then lands safely and places her on her feet.

They flip another hourglass and Sonic flips another lever with his strength and the two enter an area with molten metal covering the floor. The two balance pipes and Sonic's elastic arms came in handy with hard to reach places. They come upon a room and Sonic grabs one bot as he smashes it onto another while (Y/N) tosses her blades at two. They block them with their shields but Sonic and (Y/N) jumps them. Sonic punches into its chest and removes its main processor, it falls back as it deactivates. (Y/N) watches with a blush, "Dang it. How can he make that hot?" She whispers, whacking away the arm of the bot she's on then stab into its head. (Don't ask me. 😏)

They deal with them all and open the door as they come upon another hourglass. Once flipped, Sonic speeds off on the pipes then he (Y/N) enter another area. They make their way through and are extra careful with avoiding spikes as they launch themselves. They run off and grind on rails as they then jump across the walls of a large cylinder building until they exit it and land on a conveyer belt. Avoiding mines and lasers as they enter another area which they had to go up while also making sure they had enough to use pillars that came out of the walls. They used hard light platforms to make it to the top then exit out of it.

Sonic grabs onto (Y/N) as he uses his boost to run at incredible speed, running off a ramp and flying throughout the air as they make it into an another area. They enter a free fall as they avoid pillars and lasers. The soon come upon some lasers and Sonic could not move faster enough, (Y/N) reaches her staff and Sonic grabs it as she retracts it to pull him to safety. Sonic narrowly avoids the lasers and gives her a thankful smile. She smiles back then land on a pathway, running off deeper into the park.

They enter into a tube and soon into a room with another hourglass. Sonic flips it and he becomes the Werehog using his strength to lift up a door then the two enter and jump down into a room with the way out blocked by lasers. "Oh. So has Eggman made a room that leads nowhere?" (Y/N) asks out loud. "Naw. He's always has something hiding in plain sight." Sonic points out. He runs over to a glowing dark pink wall and punches it into up it crumbles to reveal a lever. He flips it and the lasers are turned off. (Y/N) smiles, "Way to use them brains, Fluffy." She compliments Sonic, patting his head which makes his tail wag a little. (He likes it. 😏)

The two run on and slide down a tube while also avoiding fan blades. They end up in a room where creatures of Dark Gaia spawned. Round and floating and one emits electricity. Sonic makes quick work with them by spinning around, holding his fists out as they are covered in purple energy. They land on the ground and avoid the blades of the fan as (Y/N) takes out her blades and moves swiftly as she slices at the ones yet to evaporate. One shocks her, "AH!" She cries out but glares at it and swings down a blade, separating it into two before become purple smoke and disappears. The lasers are turned off but before Sonic switches it, he checks on (Y/N), "You okay?" He asks her, placing a hand on her back. (Y/N) cracks her neck, "Eh. Not the worst shock I've had." She says nonchalantly. (It really isn't. Don't ask about the other times.) Sonic smiles at her.

He flips the switch, the door opens and the two slide down another tube while avoiding more fan blades. They enter a room and carefully make their way down and across with Sonic using some floating Dark creatures, (Y/N) stabbing them with her blades after he let go of them.

They fall into a room and do battle with bots. Sonic charges at them and performs a drill move, followed by a donkey kick and finally grabs one and swings it around to take out the others. He sighs and rolls his shoulder, but one bot appears behind him and raises its club to swing down on him. But freezes and Sonic looks back to step away as it falls forward. (Y/N) standing behind it while spinning one of her blades in her hand. "Nothing is gonna stop us now." She smirks. Sonic feels his face heat up slightly from the look and tone. (He likes that too. 💗)

The two open the gate and make it to another room only to see a large club-wielding Dark creature in the room. Bots and a Dark mage appear and the two share a look. "Shall we?" Sonic holds his hand out. "We shall." (Y/N) agrees. The two charge in with Sonic letting out a howl as he goes for the big one. (Y/N) takes out her staff as she runs at the mage. It points its staff at her and blasts a ball of energy but (Y/N) spins and uses her staff to direct the ball to one of the bots. It hits and the bots short circuits before shutting down and explode.

(Y/N) runs around the mage and throws one of her blades at it, but the mage halts it in mid-air and shoots it at her. However, the (H/C) hedgehog only smirks as she jumps and the knife stabs into the other bot. It spasms as electricity emits from it and (Y/N) lands on it, pops its head off and bats it at the mage. She jumps off it right as it explodes and catches her blades. The mage looks at her with rage and charges at her, but gets slammed by the large clubbed-wielding Dark creature. Sonic dusts off his hands as the two creature evaporate.

The two nod and continue on, opening the next gate, "Seriously?" Sonic says annoyed as two club-wielding Dark creature appear. The gate to the Temple of Gaia just on the other side. Sonic growls and cracks pounds his fist into his palm, "I have had enough of these guys." He states. "Same." (Y/N) states. The two charge and Sonic launches (Y/N) up and she dives at the first clubber. It tries to snatch her but she twists her body to avoid being snatched and grabs its hands, spinning around and plant her feet on its arm as she then launches herself at its face and holds out one of her blades.

The clubber roars in pain as his eye is stabbed. (Oh! Ouch. 😣) Then it gets hit hard in the back and falls back with Sonic avoiding him. Two mages fire at them but (Y/N) moves and takes out her staff as she bats them back at them. They defect them away only to get grabbed Sonic and he collides them together. They evaporate and the second clubber swings down his club. The two avoid it and jump to avoid the shockwave. It roars and goes into a frenzy. Sonic stretches his arm asks grabs (Y/N) pulling her back and placing her at a safe distance. "Stay." He orders then runs on all fours at the clubber. (Okay. 😳)

It stops its swinging and Sonic takes his chance as he jumps at it, he reels back a fist and punches its face. He avoids getting grabbed and lands his feet on its stomachs hard. Then grabs its mid-section as he moves to behind it and lifts it up, slamming it back onto its head. He lets go and lands on his feet as it falls limp and evaporates.

Sonic's P.O.V.

I sigh and roll my shoulders then feel a hand on my head and look at (Y/N). She smiles at me, "Way to unleash, Fluffy." She says. I smile and close my eyes as she pets my head. This feels so good~ "You did it!" I open my eyes and (Y/N) removes her hand from me as Chip appears. He flies to me with a big smile, "It's time." He says. I nod my head and look at (Y/N). She has a smile and nods her head.

I face Chip and nod my head. He flies up to the gates and his gem shines for a moment. It fades and the gates slide open. Chip flies ahead and (Y/N) and I follow him. We soon reach the altar and Chip raises the pedestal. He nods at me and I nod back, taking out the last Chaos Emerald. I look at (Y/N) and she looks at me, I offer the emerald to her and she looks at it then at me. I nod my head and she smiles. She takes it and walks up to the pedestal, placing it on it and white light surrounds the emerald. It floats into the air and spins around as it flashes a bright light. Fading to reveal the White Emerald back to normal.

I feel Chip and (Y/N) be beside me as we all look at the emerald. "The final Chaos Emerald... Back at last." Chip says. (Indeed. 😌) We all share a look and nod our heads. The place starts to shake, "I still hate this part!" (Y/N) says, I hold her as she holds Chip. It smooths out a little then we make our way out of the place. My arm still around (Y/N) as we walk together. "We did it." I hear her whisper.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

Finally. All emeralds with the light back and all temples active. We exit the temple as the gates close behind us. "This should put the world back to normal. Dark Gaia will go back to being seated within the core, and my work will be done." Chip says. I smile down at him as I walk over to him. I rest my hands on my knees as I bend down to him, "Yep, and perhaps a feast is in order for a job well done." I wink at him. He smiles and nods his head. "A feast sounds delicious. And congrats, Chip." I stand up and smile at Sonic. "Yup. Thank you, Sonic! Thank you, (Y/N)! It's all thanks to you two." Chip says.

We all share a nod then high five. "Yeah!" We cheer. Chip and I laugh together. I look at Sonic and see him with a smile. "Oh, group hug!" I grab Chip and hug Sonic. He stiffens a little but relaxes and hugs us. (He is a little traumatized from Amy's hugs. 😅) I lean into his chest and-Wow, so fluffy~ I look at Chip as he rests a hand on my arm and leans into Sonic. I smile. This has been one heck of an adventure.
