(ANNA POV)

"Rosalie, pass the morphine," Edward orders. Jake and I stand by Bella's sides. I hold onto her hand. Rosalie hands Edward a needle which he then stabs into Bella's leg.

"Carlisle said the placenta must have detached," Alice says as she is on the phone. "He's coming as fast as he can, but..."

"We'll have to do it," Rosalie says as she grabs a scalpel.

"Rose! Let the morphine spread," Edward says as he stops her hand.

"There's no time. He's dying," Rosalie explains.

"Get him out now!" Bella orders and Edward lets go of Rosalie's hand.

"Look at me, Bella," Jake tells Bella. Rosalie then cuts into Bella causing her to scream. Rosalie pulls the scalpel back and stares at the blood. "Rosalie, don't!" Jake jumps over Bella and tackles Rosalie.

"Alice, get her out of here!" Edward orders as Alice grabs Rosalie by the neck and drags her out.

"Rosalie!" Bella calls.

"Bella, hey, look. I'm right here," I tell her as I put a hand on the side of her face and squeeze her hand with my other hand.

"Ow!" Bella says before screaming.

"Save her! You've got to change her!" Jake says as he comes back to Bella's other side.

"I can't, not whilst he's still in there. I got to get him out first," Edward explains.

"Stay, Bella. Stay focused," I tell her.

"Keep your heart beating," Jake tells her.

"No! He's suffocating!" Bella yells. Edward then bites into her cause her to scream. Bella then stops screaming and Edward pulls the baby out.

"Okay," Edward says before laughing as he looks at the baby who starts crying. "Hey. Hey, hey. It's Renesmee."

"You're beautiful," Bella says as she looks at her. Edward then sets Renesmee down on Bella's chest. There's a noise and then Renesmee starts crying. Edward pulls her back and I hear Bella's breathing slowing down.

"Hey," I say as I shake Bella's shoulder.

"Bella? Bella? Bella!" Jake says panicking. Jake then starts CPR. Edward grabs a towel and wraps it around Renesmee.

"Jacob, take the baby," Edward says as he holds out Renesmee.

"Keep that away from me!" Jake says as he continues CPR.

"Edward. I'll take her," I tell him and he hands her to me. I then leave the room. I take Renesmee downstairs and start to clean her. I realize that I am crying, so I quickly take out the colored contacts I always wear. I then finish cleaning Renesmee before wrapping her in a pink blanket and sit in front of the fireplace, rocking her.

(JAKE POV)

"Hey," Anna says as she shakes Bella's shoulder and I hear Bella's heartbeat slow.

"Bella? Bella? Bella!" I say panicking before I start CPR. Edward grabs a towel and wraps it around Renesmee.

"Jacob, take the baby," Edward says as he holds out the thing to me.

"Keep that away from me!" I say with a growl as I continue CPR.

"Edward. I'll take her," Anna tells him and he hands the thing to her. Anna then leaves the room. I hope she kills it.

"What is that?" I ask as Edward takes out a huge needle. I stop CPR and Edward stabs the needle into Bella's heart.

"It's my venom," He answers as he pushes the syringe. "You're okay. Come on. It's supposed to be working." Edward starts chest compressions.

"Oh, my God," I say as I start crying.

"Come on. Bella, come on," Edward says.

"I won't kill you. That'd be too easy. You deserve to live with this," I tell him before I walk outside. I fall down and start crying.

"She didn't make it," Seth says. I cry for a few more minutes before I know what I have to do. I have to kill that thing. I get up and head towards the house with Seth following me. I sneakily walk into the house and I see Rosalie holding the thing in front of the fireplace with Anna standing beside her. Seth comes inside and bumps into me. Anna quickly turns around and I see Seth freeze out of the corner of my eye. I see him looking at the thing.

"Jacob, no," Anna says and I make eye contact with her. I feel myself freeze to the spot.
"It's like gravity. Your whole center shifts. Suddenly, it's not the Earth holding you here. You would do anything, be anything she needs," I see Anna running with a smile on her face as I chase her. "A brother." I see Anna as her wolf through my wolf eyes. "A friend," I see Anna in a wedding gown with a huge smile on her face. "A protector." I see Anna with two kids on the beach. A boy and a girl. The little girl runs towards me. I come out of my vision and drop to my knees.

(ANNA POV)

I'm standing by Rosalie who is sitting in front of the fireplace with Renesmee in her arms. I hear people bump into each other and automatically read Jake's thoughts as he plans to kill Renesmee. I quickly turn around as I see Seth fall to his knees as he stares at Renesmee. He imprinted. Jake goes to step forward.

"Jacob, no," I tell him and I make eye contact with him. I see him freeze to the spot and I relive the imprint all over again.
"It's like gravity. Your whole center shifts. Suddenly, it's not the Earth holding you here. You would do anything, be anything he needs," I see Jake running after me with a smile on his face as he chases me. "A sister." I see Jake as his wolf through my wolf eyes as I pin him like off of the lion king. "A friend," I see Jake in a tuxedo with a huge smile on his face as I walk down the aisle to meet him. "A protector." I see Jake with a big smile on his face as he walks down the beach towards me and two kids. A boy and a girl. The little girl runs towards Jake with a big smile on her face and starts giggling when Jake picks her up and spins her around. I come out of my vision and see Jake drop to his knees frozen.

"Alice! Jasper!" I hear Edward call out and know that the pack is coming. I meet up with Alice, Jasper, and Edward outside.

"We're outnumbered," Jasper says.

"By a lot," Alice adds.

"I won't let them hurt my family," Edward says.

"Plus, you have me if worse comes to worst," I say with a smile. The pack then comes out of the trees with Sam in front. "I got dibs on Sam." The pack then charges at us. I'm able to wrap my arms around Sam's neck and hold him back. Jasper slams someone into a tree. Alice pins Paul down but Jared swipes her away. This slightly distracts me and Sam is able to knock me onto my back. Edward takes out another wolf. I go to get up but Sam puts his paw down on my chest. Sam widens his jaws and starts lowering his mouth to my head. Esme and Carlisle come out of nowhere and take Sam down. I stand up beside Esme and Carlisle. Sam then goes to attack us but Emmett comes out of nowhere and knocks him away. Emmett then knocks Jared and Paul away from Alice. Leah then comes around the side of the house. Jared comes back and pins Alice before she can even get up. Leah knocks Jared away and starts fighting him. Paul chases Emmett around as Emmett jumps in the trees. I'm able to knock one of the two wolves fighting Edward away. Paul jumps at Emmett and Emmett knocks him to the ground. The wolves manage to get us surrounded. The Cullen's, Leah and I now have our backs to the house. Sam tries to come forward but I stop him which results in me on my back on the ground again.

"Stop!" Jake yells as he and Seth run outside.

"It's over!" Seth yells. Jake grabs me away from Sam.

"If you kill her, you kill me," Jake says as he grabs my hand. Sam tries to go towards the house but Jake bumps into him which causes Jake to be slung back as he phases. Jake comes out of the bushes growling.

"Jacob and Seth imprinted. They can't hurt her, because of Seth," Edward says as he reads Jake's mind.

"Whoever a wolf imprints on can't be harmed. It's our most absolute law," I agree as I go and stand beside Jake while Seth joins him on the other side. "Jacob imprinted on me." Embry growls and charges forward at Jake. I jump over Sam and as I do, I phase. I pin Embry down and growl at him. "It's over." Embry whines and I back up releasing him. I go stand back beside Jake. Sam then retreats with the pack following him. Seth turns to Edward with a small smile on his face. I look back at Edward as well before nodding my head.

"If worse comes to worst, huh?" Edward says before he goes inside followed by the rest of the Cullen's. Jake nuzzles his head against mine before we all go phase back. The next morning, Rosalie and Alice clean Bella up.
"She shouldn't be this still," Edward states as he talks to Carlisle in the other room. I'm sitting beside Jake on the couch as we watch Seth hold Renesmee.

"It's the morphine," Carlisle says.

"Maybe I was too late," Edwards says.

"No, Edward. Listen to her heart," Carlisle explains. We all listen to her heart throughout the day. The next morning, I'm holding Renesmee while Jake and I look out a window when everyone hears Bella's heart stop beating.
