(ANNA POV)

We have been waiting two days for Bella to come back as a vampire. I had everyone promise that I would be the one to tell her about me being a shapeshifter. Jake and I decided that we would wait until she is settled in with the fact of Seth having imprinted on Renesmee before we tell her about us being imprints. I hear movement in the room where Bella is.

"She's awake," I tell Jake from where I'm sitting on the floor while I and Seth play with Renesmee. We listen as Edward and Bella leave so Bella can go hunt. About an hour later, we can hear them walking out of the woods. Jake looks around at everyone and we can see the worry on Seth's face. Jake then looks at me and I nod at him. He kisses me on the temple before heading outside to see how Bella would react to him, that way we know whether it is safe for us and Renesmee. I take Renesmee from Seth and hold her for when Bella comes in. Seth does not move from my side.

(JAKE POV)

"She's awake," Anna tells me from where she is sitting on the floor while she and Seth play with Renesmee. We listen as Edward and Bella leave so Bella can go hunt. About an hour later, we can hear them walking out of the woods. We all gather around Seth and Renesmee. I look around at everyone and see their slight worry. I can see the worry and fear on Seth's face. I then look to Anna and she nods. I kiss her on the temple before heading outside to see how Bella would react to me, that way we know whether it is safe for Anna and Renesmee.

"You're still here," Bella says as I walk down the steps.

"So are you," I say as I walk closer to them. Her voice has changed a little. "I didn't expect you to seem so you. Except for the creepy eyes."

"I would keep my distance for now," Bella says as she raises a hand to stop me from walking closer. I stop walking.

"It's safer for Anna and the baby to see how you do with me first," I explain to her. I know Anna can handle herself but she is my imprint.

"Since when do you care about Anna and Renesmee?" Bella asks me confused. I slightly look to Edward and he barely shakes his head no.

"Alright. Take a whiff," I say as I walk closer to Bella. Bella walks closer to me before taking a sniff. She arches her eyebrows as she smells.

"Well, I can see what everyone's been talking about," Bella says and I let out a chuckle. "Jake, you really do stink." Edward and I then laugh. Edward then wraps his arm around Bella's waist. I can't help but be happy for them. I no longer love Bella like that. I have Anna who is this amazingly beautiful, strong girl.

"You guys really look great together," I tell them and Bella smiles but looks really confused at the same time.

"Want to come meet our daughter?" Edward asks Bella and I smile before heading inside. I go stand beside Anna who is holding Renesmee.

(ANNA POV)

Jake comes back and smiles at everyone, letting us know that it is okay. He then walks over to me and Renesmee. I turn to face him and smile.

"Welcome to the family," Esme says and I know then that Bella and Edward have walked inside.

"You look amazing, Bella," Alice says.

"Someone's been waiting to meet you," Carlisle says as I hear Bella walk closer.

"Anna," Edward says. I smile and turn to my sister so she can see Renesmee. Bella looks absolutely stunning. Renesmee giggles and coos when she sees Bella. I then hand Renesmee to Bella with Jake and Seth staying at each of my shoulders as I move. I watch as Renesmee raises her hand and puts it to Bella's face. Renesmee then shows Bella, the first memory that she has of her.

"What was that?" Bella asks.

"She showed you the first memory she has of you," I answer her with a smile.

"Showed me how?" Bella asks confused.

"How do Anna and I hear thoughts? How does Alice see the future? How does Jasper control emotions? She's gifted," Edward explains to her. Bella then looks at Renesmee's teeth.

"I've only been out for two days?" Bella asks.

"Her growth rate is unprecedented," Carlisle says which causes Seth to slightly whimper. Jake and I share a look before he walks forward. I go to stop him but I'm too late.

"Alright. That's enough experimenting for one day," Jake says as he goes to grab Renesmee.

"Jacob. Seth," Edward says making sure to add Seth, in order to reassure him. "She's doing great." Bella looks slightly confused at the mention of Seth.

"Yeah. Let's not push it though," Jake says after Seth slightly whimpered again. Bella then glares up at him and he stops moving.

"What's your problem?" Bella asks him.

"Oh. Do tell her, Jacob and Seth," Rosalie says and I send her a slight glare. Bella once again looks confused at the mention of Seth.

"This should be good," Emmett says with a smile.

"Hold on a second," Edward says as he walks forward. "Bella." Edward takes Renesmee from Bella. Jake quickly looks to Seth and me for help. Seth is frozen in free and I have no clue what to do.

"Look, it's a wolf thing," Jake starts to explain and I go stand beside him.

"What's a wolf thing?" Bella asks angrily. Rosalie walks over and takes Renesmee from Edward. Seth then comes to stand by Jake as well.

"Um... You know we have no control over it," Jake starts to answer while he glances over to Seth. "We can't choose who it happens with. And it doesn't mean what you think, Bella. I promise."

"Take Renesmee out of the room," Bella orders and Rosalie leaves with Renesmee.

"Oh," Seth says as he watches her go.

"Edward, do something," I think to him. Edward walks forward and puts his hand on Bella's arm.

"Edward, don't touch me right now. I don't want to hurt you," Bella tells him. I stand slightly in front of Jake. "Anna, move." Bella goes to make me move but Jake quickly moves me behind him. Bella then grabs Jake by the neck and starts dragging him outside. I couldn't help but release a growl when she grabbed him. Bella then throws him off the steps into the yard. Seth and I quickly go stand by him.

"You imprinted on my daughter?" Bella asks him.

"No. It wasn't his choice!" Jake says while looking to Seth but Bella ignores that.

"She's a baby!" Bella yells at him.

"It's not like that. You think Edward would let him live if it was?" Jake asks her while pointing between Seth and Edward. She once again ignores the fact that he is talking about Seth.

"I'm still debating it," Edward says with a smile.

"I've held her once! One time, Jacob! And already you think that you have some moronic wolfy claim on her?" Bella asks him as she walks down the stairs. "She's mine!" Bella then knocks Jake to the ground. I let out a growl but Leah runs up and growls as well so it blocks mine out.

"It's fine, Leah," Jake tells Leah.

"You're gonna stay away from her," Bella orders him.

"You know he can't do that," Jake says and Bella once again blocks out the part where he talks about Seth. Bella then punches him in the stomach which sends him flying back. I quickly stand between them both as I growl at Bella and start shaking.

"Back off Bella," I snarl at her.

"Stop her, Edward," I hear Esme say about Bella.

"They're fine. She's amazing, right?" Edward asks.

"Anna move," Bella snarls.

"I won't let you hurt him," I tell her. She goes to walk around me and to him but I phase. As I phase I push my head into her stomach which sends her flying back. Bella stands up and looks shocked. I stand in front of Jake and growl at Bella.

"Do you remember how much you wanted to be around me 3 days ago? That's gone now, right?" Jake questions as he comes to stand beside me.

"Long gone," Bella answers him. He goes to walk in front of me but I grab his shirt with my teeth.

"It's okay, Anna," Jake says to me. "Because it was her. From the beginning, it was Anna who wanted me there." Jake looks to me as he speaks to Bella. Bella looks confused when she hears my name. "And Nessie wanted..."

"Nessie? You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness monster?" Bella questions him angrily and goes to hit him again. Seth finally decides to step in. Seth phases as he jumps towards Bella and she slams him into a tree.

"Seth, are you okay?" Jake asks him as we rush over to him. It looks like maybe his arm is broken.

"Seth, I'm sorry," Bella says.

"He'll be alright," Jake says as I and he turned back to Bella. Seth stands and Leah nuzzles him.

"Bella, you know me better than anyone. All Seth wants is for Ness..." Jake starts and I nudge his shoulder as he goes to use the nickname.  "Renesmee to be safe. Happy. And that's all I want for Anna." I watch as Bella looks between him and me, finally starting to get it. "Look, nothing ever made sense before. You. Me. Any of it. And now I understand why. This was the reason." Jake looks at me as he rests a hand on the side of my head and I nuzzle into it. Bella glares over at Seth before she sighs and lets it go. We all go back inside. Carlisle fixes Seth's shoulder. Bella takes care of Renesmee while Seth watches from a distance. The others all go hunting. As night finally comes, Jake and I have fallen asleep in the couch. I wake up to the sound of the others returning.

"Finally," Edward says. I stand and walk over to them.

"My turn," I say as I hold my hands out for Renesmee. I know that I have to get her before Rosalie or I'll never get to hold my niece. Bella hands her over with a smile and I start rocking Renesmee.

"Where does she sleep?" Bella asks.

"In my arms. Or Edward's or Esme's or Rosalie's," I answer with a smile. Alice then bursts through the doors which wakes up Seth and Jake.

"Happy birthday," Alice tells Bella.

"I stopped aging three days ago," Bella says still not liking her birthday. I can't help but smile at that.

"Well, we're celebrating anyway. So suck it up," Alice says before she holds out a key to Bella. Alice, Bella, and Edward then head outside. Seth walks over to me and holds out his arms for Renesmee. I sigh before giving her to him, knowing that this is really the only time he is going to get to spend with her since Bella is away. I then walk outside and sit on the steps. I stare up at the stars. I think about how glad I am to have moved back to Forks. It's where I truly belong.

"Hey, you okay?" Jake asks as he sits next to me.

"Yeah. Everything is perfect," I answer with a smile before resting my head on his shoulder.

"When did you know?" Jake asks me.

"Know what?" I ask as I grab his hand and start tracing patterns on it.

"When did you imprint?" He asks. I sigh before I look up at him.

"When you and Billy brought the truck for Bella, when we came back to Forks," I answer him truthfully.

"Why didn't you ever say anything?" Jake asks me seriously.

"I knew you felt something from it, but you thought it had something to do with Bella. You thought you loved Bella, so as your imprint I was not going to get in the way of that, because it's my job to be whatever you need me to be. You wanted me as your best friend, so that's what I was. Sure it hurt every time you were with Bella but it also made me happy because you were happy," I explain to him.

"You are so selfless, amazing, beautiful," Jake says as he grabs my face gently. "You are the definition of perfection. I'm glad that it was you and not Bella or anyone else because not only are you my imprint but you are also my best friend." I can't help the smile and blush that covers my face.

"I love you."
