I got up and started running towards her bedroom door when the doctor stopped me.

   " Let me see her!" I yelled 

   " I'm sorry sir, but we need to discuss something with you."

I stopped and went back to were I was sitting. My dad sat beside me.

   " Alright. Now this is about her condition."

I was ready to listen. I nodded my head.

   " This was a traumatic experience for her. Because of this she doesn't need to see anything that will remind her of it. Also because of this. She has lost her memory."

   " What!?"

   " Yes. We told her that she has gone through such a traumatic experience that she lost her memory. We told her about you and your family. So she knows that she's adopted and that your her brother and your her father."

I couldn't believe it she forgot everything.

   " If she lost her memory why would showing her something of the event affect her?" my dad asked.

   " Well she will be getting her memories back in time. They will come very slow. If she sees something from this event her memories will come back quicker. It will be like all her memories coming back at once. It's very painful and stressful situation. They need to come back slow and steady. Eventually she'll remember what happened here, but until then she doesn't need to see anything from this day."

I nodded.

   " You can go see her. Just be careful of what you say."

I nodded and headed for the door. I put my hand on the handle.

   " Aaron."

I turned to see my father.

   " I'll wait out here."

I nodded and walked inside. I seen her sitting on the bed looking out the window. Just daydreaming. She then heard the door close. She looked at me. I was going to cry. I walked up to her and knelt down.

   " Hi you must be Aaron. My step brother."

That hit me hard. She never said step brother. She would always say brother. I nodded and hugged her. She didn't return the hug and I cried even more. I pulled away.

   " Excuse me, but when would we be going back to the house?"

She used to call it home.

   " S-soon very soon. Once you've recovered."

   " What happened if I might ask?"

   " We were walking outside in the snow when a branch hit you. It hit your ight in the stomach. You passed out after that so we brought you back here and called a doctor. We are leaving tomorrow."

   " Ok. I'm going to rest."

I nodded and left. I seen everyone gathered around the fire.

   " What happened in there Aaron?" Aphmau asked

I cried.

   " She called me step brother. She asked when we were going back to the house. She didn't return my hugs. I cried."

I fell on my knees and cried even more. Aphmau came and hugged me.

   " She would always call me brother, She would call the house her home, she would always return my hugs no matter what they were for, she would always comfort me when I cried and wipe my tears away and tell me it was alright."

Everyone walked up to Aaron and sat with him on the floor.

   " I miss her old self already."

Dad went into the room and I can only tell that he was going to wake her up and question her. I let him. I just want to cry.

What Aaron didn't know was that he was being watched.

So she's lost her memory. She can't see anything from her past of she'll be in pain. I can deal with that. I already had a plan forming in my head to get her back.

   " Michi."

   " Yes boss."

   " Tomorrow I want you to sneak ______ into another room. Then use one of your potions to look like her and take her place. Leave with them and pretend you don't know anything."

   " What do I get out of it nya~"

   " You get to live."

I seen her cower in fear.
