Something Like Normal. VII.

JOCELYN

''I don't want to see this.'' Yuri complained.

I smiled as I reached up and took his sunglasses off, ''To bad. Since I had said no to Buck about coming, you will enjoy it. You will laugh and cry with me.''

''You know I would I get my ass kicked back in Moscow by people I know see my walking out of a romance movie?" he asked and I rolled my eyes. ''Why not go see G.I. Joe?"

''Because I've been wanting to see this movie for awhile.'' I said. ''We saw the movie you wanted last time, my turn.''

He scrunched his nose and gave me his Yuri look by giving me a form of a tink face and sticking his tongue out when he didn't get his way. He did it as a child to his mother and she apparently hated it. See how much I know about my dear friend?

''I read what happens, the dude--''

''Don't!" I cut him off, giving him a glare. ''Don't you dare ruin it for me or I'll kick your butt.''

''So scared.'' he mocked and I hit him. ''You hit like a little girl.'' he said and I continued to hit him. ''Oh please, my seven year old sister Ivanna could hit harder.''

I stopped hitting and huffed, ''You're such a minet." I said and his face tighten as before he broke out laughing. My face quickly heated up as people around looked at us strangely. I hit him, ''Yuri, stop it! What did you teach me? That word doesn't mean jerk does it?"

He continued to laugh for a few moments and he took a few breaths, wiping the tears from his face, ''No, no it does not. You just said ''your such a blowjob'.'' he said and I gasped, my eyes widened.

I hit him and grabbed his head, pulling him in a headlock my brother taught me. Yuri fought, but wasn't very trying because he was laughing at my reaction. ''You lied to me! Ugh! I hate you Yuri! You know how I feel about bad words!"

''I may say blowjob is not a bad word.'' he said, holding his finger up and I tighten my arm.

''Hey now, no more playing around.'' a mall cop said and I hesitated but let go of Yuri.

Yuri chuckled, ''Relax.'' he said to me and I glared at him again.

''How many other words did you tell me were one thing and meant another!" I asked.

''Only that one.'' he said, grinning and I had a feeling he was lying. ''Seriously. I was just having fun that day, no big deal. Amusing don't you think?"

''What if I had said it in Russia? I would have looked like an idiot.'' I hissed coldly.

He threw his arm around me as it was time for the movie to start, ''I would have died from laughter.''

YURI

Jocelyn was eating her popcorn rather angrily. Everything I went to get some, she smack my hand away. I know she didn't like little jokes, but it was funny. Had I lied when I said there was more words I taught her and meant something else?

Yes.

But it was funny!

I slouched down in my seat and laid my head on her shoulder as we watches the previews. I reached up and played with the strain of hair lose from her bun, ''Oh smile, Jocelyn. It was funny.''

''Your mean.'' she said, stuffing her mouth with popcorn.

I chuckled a little, ''You have to admit it was funny.'' I said, tickling behind her ear and she jerked, glaring at me.

She glared down at me for a few seconds when I saw her face twitch and a smile broke out on her face, ''Okay, okay. It was a little funny.''

''It was.'' I said. ''And no one around would have understood you anyways.''

''I guess so.'' she sighed.

''I'm sorry.'' I said, pressing my mouth against her shoulder and gave her my sorry look.

''Stop acting childish.'' she said, reaching up and plucked my forehead.

''I wouldn't be fun then.'' I said. ''Admit it, I was probably the best thing to happen in your life. I am amazing.''

''Do you tell yourself that when you look in the mirror?" she asked. ''Because the best thing to happen in my life was when I got braces.''

''You had braces--what are braces?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

''The metal that goes on your teeth to straighten them.'' she said.

''Oh.'' I said. ''I have perfect teeth. See. No braces.'' I said when I bared my teeth.

''Eh, your bottom front look a little uneven.'' she said and I was the one this time to glare at her. She just smiled.

She looked back at the screen as I pulled my phone out, going on Twitter its then only communication I have left with people back at home though I hardy talk to him anyone. Last time I tweeted was three weeks ago, last time I posted a picture was a month and half ago. It was a picture of Jocelyn and I making a face.

Something on the screen of the theater room caught my attention. I peaked over and saw the movie my father was in. My eyes widen and when a hand slammed down a breifcase--my dad part when the camera rolls up to show him--I panicked.

''Jocelyn, look at this!" I had said pretty loudly as I held my phone in her face, making her jump as she stared at my screen.

''Yuri, I don't understand Russian--i'm trying to see the preview--''

''But wait. It reminds me so much of you. It says 'those who do good in life always tends to get what they deserves'.''

''Yeah, yeah-now move. This movie has Russian mafia theme, you should be excited.'' she said when she put her hand on my Galaxy phone to move. ''Why are you--Yuri!" she gasped between my mouth when I pressed my mouth against her, my head blocking the screen.

She put her hands on my chest, trying to push me but I grabbed into the handles, pressing my lips against her roughly. Her eyes were wide as they stared at my wide eyes, so I closed my eyes since I couldn't look at them anymore. Her lips taste like cool mint chap sticks, I always caught myself staring at her mouth before because she had a nice pair of lips, but in always made an excuse that I was staring at her smile.

When I heard the movie trailer finish, I pulled away and sat on my seat again. I brought my fist up to my mouth as I looked away, not handling the look she was giving me after she scoffed.
