Jessica was over the moon when she left her appointment. The doctor said everything was going great with the baby. The doctor then prescribed Jessica some prenatal vitamins and anti nausea medication to help with the morning sickness.

Jane drove them back to her house so she spend some time with her niece. She was so happy for Jessica to finally be getting the happiness she deserves.

Jessica stared at the ultrasound photo with happy tears in her eyes. She couldn't wait to tell Danny, which she planned to do later that night.

She wasn't going to tell Jennavive just yet since it was still early but she felt she needed to tell Danny.

Jessica spent a few hours at Jane's house then when it was time to pick up Jennavive from school, she told Jane goodbye then was on her way.

On the way to pick up her daughter, Jessica stopped at the store to get what she needed to help her tell Danny her news. She bought a box for the ultrasound photo, as she made her way to check out, she saw some baby onesies.

Jessica found a onesie that said Hello Daddy, written on it. Jessica bought it and decided to put it in the box with the ultrasound photo.

Jessica then picked up Jennavive and they made their way home.

While Jennavive played in her room, Jessica went to her bedroom to put the onesie and ultrasound photo into the box. She then hid it away until she was ready to give the box to Danny.

Their day went on as it normally would; Danny came home bringing Jessica her assignments she had missed in her classes.

Because she has been so sick, she's been speaking to her professors over the phone and Danny would bring her work for her.

Her professors knew what a great student Jessica was, so they let her do her schooling from home for now. She had told them she would be back very soon.

During dinner, Jessica was anxious and excited to give Danny the box. But, she calmed herself down and waited.

"Did you see your doctor mommy?" Jennavive asked as they ate their dinner at the kitchen table.
"I did." Jessica replied. "My doctor gave me some medicine for a stomach bug that I have. I should be good as new soon."
"A bug?" Jennavive asked, her eyes wide. "Mommy! How did a bug get into your tummy!?"

Jessica and Danny chuckled then Jessica said. "It's not a real bug. It's just a saying for when someone has an upset tummy."
"Oh!" Jennavive said with a giggle. "Okay."

The rest of their meal was spent asking how everyone's day went then they settled in for a movie before Jennavive had to go to bed.

Once the movie was over, Jessica took Jennavive to her room to help her change into pajamas.

After changing Jennavive into her pajamas, Danny and Jessica read her a storybook then they tucked her into bed.

"Goodnight mommy and daddy." Jennavive said with yawn.
"Good night baby girl." Jessica said as she kissed her cheek.
"Goodnight sweetie." Danny said as he too kissed Jennavive's cheek. "Sleep tight."

Danny pulled the covers a little higher making sure Jennavive was covered and comfortable.

Jessica turned on the night light that Jennavive still used then they made their way to their bedroom.

Jessica and Danny then got ready for bed then as soon as they were in their pajamas, Jessica said as they lay next to each other. "Danny...I love you."
"I love you too." Danny said. He then kissed her lips. "Are you really feeling okay?" He asked still concerned for her even though she had said she was okay.
"Yeah. I'm really okay." Jessica said. "Um...after I saw my doctor. I stopped the store and I got you something. I just had to get it!" She got out of bed and grabbed the box from its hiding place.
"Aw...honey, you didn't have to get me anything." Danny said as Jessica handed it to him.
"Well, I can't return it." Jessica said with a smirk. "Open it!"

Danny chuckled then opens the box. He then moved the tissue paper that lay on top so he can see what was inside.

Danny's eyes grew wide as he saw first the onesie, then the ultrasound photo. He did a double take and saw the words on the onesie. He then turned to Jessica who smiling wide.

"Jess...we...you're..." Danny said as he tried to speak properly. He picked up the onesie and the photo in his hands and looked at them properly. Danny's eyes filled with happy tears. "We're having baby?"
Jessica nodded her head with tears of joy in her eyes. "We're having a baby, Danny. I'm nine weeks."
Danny put down the items in his hands then crushed Jessica in a hug. "Oh, baby! I'm so happy!"
"Oh Danny, I'm so happy too." Jessica said as she and Danny held each other. "I had my suspicions that I was pregnant. But, I wanted to be sure."
"No wonder you've been so sick." Danny said as he pulled away. "May I?" He gestured to her belly.
Jessica laughed and said. "There's nothing to see but, sure. Why not."

Jessica laid back then Danny lifted her shirt and got close to her belly.

"Hi little one." Danny said, speaking to Jessica's still flat belly. "I'm your daddy. I can't wait to meet you."
Jessica cried happy tears as she watched the man she loved speak to their baby.

Danny looked up at Jessica and said. "Jessica Phyllis Lange...thank you for making me the happiest man on earth! You, and our children make me feel so complete. I love you."
"Daniel Sallis Huston...thank you for making me the happiest woman on earth." She said as she kissed his lips once again. "I love you too. With all my heart."
