Leaving Soul writhing, I storm out of the room, tired of the charade. He needs to get tutored in logic or something. "Go put on a shirt!" I call as I go to my temporary residence. Some time later, Soul enters, not knocking or anything. Finally, he has a shirt on. And IT'S DOCTOR WHO MERCHANDISE YAS! The shirt was Van Gogh's exploding TARDIS. Since Halloween was coming up the next week, I had a brilliant idea: WE WOULD BE ROSE AND TEN! (Fun fact my friend and I actually did this last year. No, we're not in a relationship.) My mood turns from pissed off to excited. "SOULLLL WE CAN BE ROSE AND THE DOCTORRRR!!!!" I jump around, hyped. He chuckles. "Wow, are you bipolar or something?" My expression shifts from energetic to... Death stare.
I raise my book, and he cowers. Instead of hitting him, I set it down and state dryly, "Somewhat."
"Soooo...." I ask, "are we a thing now?"
He grins. "We're the coolest couple ever." I almost sigh aloud with relief.

"How about playing Smash Brothers?" "You do know that I'm going to cream you, right?" He smiles. "I like your focused face." And my face is currently light pink. We set it up again and I choose Kirby. An idea pops into my head. 'Kirby match!' He shrugs and drags his cursor to Kirby. I'm Shadow Kirby and he's the blue one. I defeat him easily with a well-timed hammer blow. 'I'm kinda bored of this. Can I go get my Nintendoland?' Soul nods, and I put my shoes on, darting across the street.
I use my key and let myself in, and I can't help but hear their conversation. A strange voice states, "But the memories... What if they regain them?" My father then speaks"Their powers are known to only us. I mean, Maka has no idea..." Their voices drop to a mumble indecipherable, and I tiptoe to my room and get my disk, leaving, silently locking the door behind me.

What did I just overhear?
