  Izuku stared at his stats. They had increased drastically the past few hours, and he had gained a few significantly more powerful pieces of armour from the knights he killed.

  *Shadow steel Armour-Incomplete.(A+)*

  *Chest plate + Greaves.*

  *Shadow steel gauntlets.(S)*

  *+40 to strength.*

  Izuku obtained a pair of shadow steel boots from the next Knight he punched into a wall.

  "Just need the helmet and I've got the full set... Except the accessories, but they're extra add on pieces." He muttered.

  Izuku entered the next room, coming across a bright red Knight kneeling beside a large throne, waiting for him to approach.

  "The boss room..." He said to himself.

  The Knight looked up from the floor, his name appearing over his head.

  *Blood Red Knight: Igris.*

  Izuku laughed.

  "How fitting. Red armour, red name.."

  Izuku adjusted his gauntlets, stepping towards Igris.

  The Knight stood, his gaze lowering to Izuku's hip, and upon seeing no sword, he drew his own, tossing it aside, as well as the daggers attached to his back.

  "Looks like chivalry isn't dead after all!" Izuku laughed.

  Igris seemed to tremble. Was he laughing?

  The black clad Izuku, and the crimson clad Igris charged, clasping their hands together and pushing.

  Igris was as strong as Izuku was, pushing with equal force against the greenette.

  Izuku twisted, pulling the Knight forwards and over himself, making Igris stumble and pitch forwards.

  Izuku leapt after the blood red Knight, punching his spiked gauntlets into his back.

  The Knight spun, kicking Izuku's legs out from under him, both armoured men crashing to the ground.

  Izuku groaned, standing up and barely blocking the Knight's gauntleted strike.

  Izuku swung his own fist, catching the side of the Knight's head.

  Igris stumbled, and Izuku didn't miss his chance, racing forwards and grabbing the crimson helmet in both hands, lifting and twisting away from the crimson chest plate.

  Igris reached up, grabbing Izuku's arms, but his strength was slowly fading.

  Soon enough Izuku was victorious, tearing the blood red helm from the rest of the armour.

  Izuku fell to his knees, sighing in relief.

  *Blood red shadow steel helm.*

  *Shadow steel armour now complete*

  Izuku grinned, equipping the helmet.

  The shadow steel armour was pitch black, similar in design to the armour Igris wore. The helmet was the same as the Blood red Knight's, in both colour and appearance.

  Izuku manifested his armour, admiring the pieces he could see looking down.

  *Set bonuses: ???*

  *Item acquired: dominators touch rune.*

  The system pinged once again.

  *Blood red Knight Igris has been defeated. The job quest will now begin.*

  Izuku cursed.

  "Damn it. I have to fight more?"

  *Job quest: survive as long as you can. Swarms of enemies will appear. The longer you last, the better your final score.*

  Six portals suddenly appeared around the spacious room, legions of shadow steel knights emerging.

  Izuku activated his stealth skill, sneaking to the throne and hiding there.

  *Casters are using detection magic.*

  The Knights and few casters all turned to Izuku.

  "This isn't good.. there are only 6 casters.. why is that? I'm exhausted, and my health is down by more than half... What do I do? Do I run?" He muttered.

  *You have failed to complete the daily quest. You will now be sent to the penalty zone.*

  Izuku almost sighed in relief when the hated sand dunes formed around him.

  He kept an eye out for the giant centipedes, but his stealth skill was still in effect, so they ignored him for now.

  Izuku opened the shop, spending a fractional amount of gold to purchase several healing and fatigue potions.

  Izuku grinned, his stats fully restored.

  His stealth skill deactivated, and the centipedes charged.

  "Bring it on.. you'll make good experience!"

  Four hours later and Izuku was spat back into the throne room.

  The Knights immediately turned to him, readying their weapons.

  Eventually Izuku figured out that the knights were just summons, the only real enemies were the 6 casters.

  Izuku activated his sprint skill, flashing past three of the casters, taking them all out in a second.

  The three remaining casters huddled together, forming a summoning circle.

  Izuku sprinted again, quickly approaching the casters.

  The loose armour and the still living knights were pulled together, forming a mountain of shadow steel.

  "A golem? It would have been harder if they kept the knights as individual units.."

  Izuku blurred past the three last casters, his fists striking three times.

  *Quest complete!*

  Izuku sighed in relief.

  "I don't get to choose? I was hoping for a brawler class..."

  Izuku stared in surprise at the long list of notifications.

  "Shadow monarch...?"

  Izuku looked around the room.

  *This shadow is able to be extracted*

  That message hung over the bodies of every Knight and caster in the room.

  "Necromancy..!" He gasped.

  "I can have the monsters I defeat serve me..? Does it work on boss monsters?"

  Izuku walked over to the corner where Igris lay, the same ominous message hanging over his body.

  *Please select summoning phrase.*

  Izuku thought for a moment, before deciding on..

  "Arise."

  Igris' shadow immediately formed, kneeling before Izuku's overwhelming strength.

  *Shadow is at the Knight rank. Shadows at rank Knight or higher can be named.*

  Izuku hummed for a moment.

  "Igris is fine. You may keep your name."

  Igris bowed his head lower, as if to thank his lord.

  Izuku turned to the room of knights.

  "Arise."
