About 2 weeks past and Satan still continued to hide in his room and go out a lot. Doing whatever he could do to avoid Diavolo and being in the same room with him. During this he even stop going to Rad and nobody could really force him to go or do anything.

He wouldn't listen to anyone and just do whatever he wanted to do.  But today him and Diavolo had to go out to a party for publicity and means Satan had to pretend to be fine. Which wasn't going to be easy.

Anyway right now they were at the party and Diavolo was talking to some important demons.

While Satan stood with him looking dead inside like he didn't want to be there and was not trying hard to hide it. He also had this dark aura around him that made it even more obvious he didn't want to be there.

Demon 1 : you don't look to happy?  For recently being married?"

Satan : can you not see how full of joy I am?"

Demon 2 :.....I guess you were never one to show excited"

Satan : do you want to die?"

Demon 2 : excuse me?"

Satan : did I stutter?"

Diavolo : ....he's just having a bad day...."

Satan : ....yes so please excuse me"

After this Satan walked away and went outside to take a breather from everything.

Once outside Satan kept walking and was leaving the party and as he was Barbatos caught up with him and said.

Barbatos : maybe it is wise to leave. You seem very irritated"

Satan : I do not want to play pretend for everyone! How can I act like I'm fine when I'm not!?"

Barbatos : no one excepts you to pretend or hide how you feel"

Satan : all of you do!"

Barbatos :.....he just wants everything to be fine. The public has to think everything is or it will be messy."

Satan : so basically I have to pretend!.... can't even tell my brothers anything or else the family will fall apart....."

Barbatos : I'm truly sorry...."

Satan : I'm tired of everyone saying that. If you all were I wouldn't be force to be stuck in a marriage I don't want to be in"

Barbatos : .... would you like to return to the castle Satan?"

Satan : ......not like I have anywhere else to go......"

Later back at the castle Satan was in his room sitting on his bed with his cats reading a book. Until

Suddenly there was a knock at the door and it then open and Diavolo walked in.

Diavolo : I just got back....I just wanted to know if you were ok?"

Satan : I'm not playing pretend for you. If they find out it's not my problem."

Diavolo : Sa-

Satan : get out....I'm done talking to you"

And so Diavolo did not wanting to upset him.

Later in the nighttime Satan couldn't sleep so he decided to sneak out and just walk all night anything to have more time away from the castle.

But little did he know who was following him.

Few days later in the morning Simeon and Luke came over and as Luke went with Barbatos to cook. Simeon went to talk with Satan who in garden sitting by himself until Simeon sat down next to him.

Simeon: how have you been"

Satan : ..... great...."

Simeon : you seem upset? I've notice since the wedding you haven't been yourself. And everyone has barely seen you in weeks since then?"

Satan : I'm fine just busy"

Simeon : you didn't want to marry him didn't you?"

Satan was a little shock how Simeon figured it out but then said.

Satan : what makes you say that?"

Simeon : I can just tell. If you were you would spend time with him but you been avoiding him at every cost and also Lucifer.

Whatever is going on you can tell me. An angel never reveals secrets"

Satan : ....you promise you won't tell?"

Simeon : of course"

Satan : ..... Diavolo Needed to marry someone and become king or else his. Father would return.
And he didn't want that because he knew he wouldn't accept his ideas.

and for some reason it had to be me to be the one to marry him. Soo he got Lucifer too agree to trick me into marrying him and Lucifer did that without hesitation.

And now I'm stuck in a marriage with no chance of escaping. And even if I tried he would probably drag me back.

And I can't tell anyone especially my brothers or else the family would fall apart if they knew what Lucifer. But I can't act like everything is fine and I won't."

Simeon: .....you been holding that in for awhile haven't you?"

Satan : yeah."

Simeon : ....I can't believe Lucifer would do something like this. "

Satan : he says it's for the best probably thinks my suffering is worth the sacrifice to keep Diavolo's father away. And keep everyone safe. "

Simeon : still even if in his head he means well this is not right. "

Satan : I don't want this....but what can I do?"

Simeon : this is just sickening. It hurts to see you so unhappy"

Satan : ....you know what sucks? I thought I actually meant something to Lucifer..thought he cared about me. When in reality he doesn't and I'm just someone he can just give away to someone"

Simeon : I'm always here to talk alright? Anything you need I'm here"

Satan : I don't know how much longer I can just go with this...."

Simeon : I'll do what I can to help"

Satan : .....thanks...."

Simeon : you are family so I will do anything for you"

Satan :....."

For some reason that sentence hurt Satan because it was something Lucifer told all the brothers and him. yet Lucifer did this to him. So a part of him was questioning that sentence.

Later after they left nobody could find Satan so Diavolo went looking for him as Barbatos was preparing dinner.

And soon found him standing outside on the balcony looking out over Devildom.

Diavolo : Satan?"

Satan : ..... excuse me? Who gave you the right to talk to me?"

Diavolo : I just wanted to tell you d-

Satan : I don't care leave me alone. Let me have one thing to myself since you took everything away from me"

Diavolo : I haven't taken anything from you. And if I have I'm not trying to do th-!?

Satan : YOU TRICKED ME INTO MARRYING YOU! THAT TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME!"

Diavolo : and I'm sorry for that...."

Satan : YOUR NOT! NOT EVEN IN THE SLIGHTEST! THAT'S THE WORST PART YOU AND LUCIFER THINK MY SUFFERING IS WORTH IT!"

Diavolo : I'm trying my best to help you but you won't even talk to me...."

Satan :. YOU!? WHY WOULD I TALK TO YOU ABOUT ANYTHING!? YOUR THE REASON I'M LIKE THIS!! YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT ME! YOU JUST CARE ABOUT YOUR PLAN!"

Satan then turned away from him and looked over the edge to see how high he was.

Diavolo : I know yo-SATAN!?"

Satan immediately jumped off the balcony landing perfectly on the ground and then running away.

Later as Satan was running through the Forest attempting to leave again Diavolo showed up and got Satan in a bear hug not letting go of him and Satan started struggling to get free.

Diavolo : please we need to just talk...."

Satan : NO! LET ME GO! LET ME GO!"

Diavolo: Satan pl-!?

Satan then kicked Diavolo and manage to get him to let go. And as soon as he let go he ran off again not giving up this time

But as he running again Diavolo caught up and tried grabbed him again. And again Satan kicked him and did everything he could to hurt Diavolo to make him let go but he wouldn't.

Satan : I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK DAMN IT! LET ME LEAVE!"

As Diavolo started walking away with him Satan started kicking and screaming even begging.

He desperately didn't want to go back. He was becoming frantic and angry.

The pain and fear in his voice the way he looked made Diavolo feel horrible and want to let go but even though he knew that would be the good thing.

He couldn't let Satan go this had to happen he had to stay this was for the best even if he couldn't see it.

But as he was lost in thought he manage to loosen his grip on Satan and Satan got free.

But Diavolo touched his head and he collapsed to the ground asleep again.

Diavolo : ......I have to do this.... it's for the best of you and everyone "

Later Satan woke up in his room back at the castle and as soon as he saw he was back. He immediately screamed out in pain and frustration.
And feeling helpless.
