Tigertail padded into camp with a vole. He placed it in the fresh kill pike and padded over to Appleclaw as she padded out of the medicine cat den.
He padded over to Appleclaw.

"Hey pretty kitty." He meowed flurtingly.

"Shut up fox-face." She meowed.

"Aww, you really like me." He meowed.

"Let me think about it, na I hate your guts, fish-face." She meowed.

"You had to think." He smirked.

"I was joking, mouse-brain." Meowed Appleclaw.

"Whatever." He meowed.

Jayclaw padded out of the medicine cat den. He glared at Tigertail as he grabbed a mouse and padded back into the medicine cat den. He gave one more glare at him and stepped inside to enjoy a mouse in peace without looking at Tigertail.

"So, you like anyone?" Asked Tigertail to Appleclaw.

"Why do you need to know?" She hissed.

"I just thought.." He began.

"Thought what, I would be your mate, not if we were the last cats alive!" She growled.

"No, I thought we should get to know eachother since we split deputy duties." He meowed.

"Still, I'm not telling you anything about me." She meowed and walked away.

'Ugh, I will never be able to tell her I love her of she is always wanting to bite my head off, unless I trick her." Thought Tigertail.

He thought for a bit more and nodded to himself.

"Yes, that will work, the pretty she-cat will be mine once and for all."

How was it? Short compared to the other one, I know but I have ran out of ideas for a while. I just have a large gap between now and the next big part. Anyway, I finally updated it. Hope you all like it so far, this has got to be my favorite book I write. Anyway that us all for now.
