Chapter 2
Clarke
Waking up, I hear people having conversations. Where am I? I look around for an answer when a sharp pain goes through my wrist, I wince loudly.
"Welcome back." I look to the voice. I can recognize that voice from anywhere. "Look-"
"Wells, why the hell are you here?" I never want to be near him again, and yet he's sitting right next to me. What he did was unforgivable.
"When I found out they were sending prisoners to the ground, I got myself arrested." He gestures to his wrist. "I came for you." Bullshit. Before I could respond, lights start flickering and there's a loud flash. People's screams could be heard.
"What was that?" Asking no one in particular, of course.
"That was the atmosphere." Of course Wells answers. The lights suddenly come back on and we see Jaha's face on multiple screens.
"Prisoners of the ark, hear me now. You've been given a second chance, and as your chancellor, it is my hope that you see this as not just a chance for you, but a chance for all of us, indeed for mankind itself. We have no idea what is waiting for you down there. If the odds of survival were better, we would've send others. Frankly, we're sending you because your crimes have made you expendable."
"Your dad is a dick, Wells." People can be heard getting mad at him, though it's not his fault. I don't feel bad though, he deserves that and much worse after what he did to me.
"Those crimes will be forgiven, your records wiped clean. The drop sits has been chosen carefully. Before the last war, mount weather was a military base built within a mountain." The screen starts to glitch, we're getting closer. "It was enough to be stocked with enough nonperishables to sustain 300 people for up to two years."
Some random guy gets out of his chair and floats around in the air. He's such a idiot, he's going to get hurt when entering earth. People cheer him on, this has to be stopped.
The spacewalker floats in front of Wells. "Check it out, your dad floated me, after all." People laugh at his stupid comment while I roll my eyes.
"You should strap on before the parachutes deploy." People laugh as two more people follow spacewalkers lead. They're going to get themselves killed.
"Hey, you two, stay put it you want to live." I try persuading them, but they don't listen.
"Mount weather is life." The airdrop jolts. "You must locate those supplies immediately." Jaha continues.
"Hey, you're the traitor who's been in solitary for a year." He's right, but it's not like he didn't do anything wrong.
"You're the idiot who wasted a month of oxygen on an illegal spacewalk." I retort back, looking around once again.
"But it was fun. I'm Finn." I don't respond to him as Jaha continues.
"Your one responsibility is stay alive."
"Stay in your seats!" I tell at them to stay in their seats as the airdrop gets even faster. They start floating in the air as the lights go off and the airdrop waves back and forth, making them crash into the wall. Everybody screams as the lights flicker and the airdrop moves rapidly.
"Finn, are you okay?" No response. People exclaim as lights flicker more and sparks fly through the air.

The next POV will be on the Ark, and it will be short since it's just a filler chapter on what's happening up there.
I've taken a liking at drawing, but I'm not very good at it. Any tips?
