WAS IT all a dream? Was the taste of his gentle lips residing on her tongue a fragment of her imagination? Did she truly feel his hands on her waist, holding her in place as he gave her the best kiss of her life? Was it all just a dream? Park Chinsun lifted herself from her bed with wide eyes, her fingers immediately flying to her still tingling lips. It all felt so real. Standing outside her doorway, mouth pressed against his, ignoring the cold air nipping at their cheeks. She felt for any sign that he had truly ravaged her mouth the night before, but found nothing. Or, she thought that she had found nothing. A single text on her screen confirmed her actions the night before. From Junhui: I want to kiss your lips for as long as I can. She sucked in a harsh breath as her mouth stretched into a wide grin.
She threw herself back into her mound of pillows, releasing a girly scream. Her legs thrashed about as she excitedly pumped the air, still squealing out of pure happiness. I need to tell someone, she thought to herself, her movements stopping. I need to tell Eunnie! She didn't bother to make herself look more presentable. She only grabbed her phone and her bag before slipping on her shoes and running out of her apartment. She loaded onto her bike and began pedaling faster than ever before. Her legs throbbed from the countless practices through the week and then walking all day the day before with Junhui, but the excitement bubbling within her body made it go away. She peeled onto the sidewalk outside of the boys' dorm and locked her bike onto the bike rack.
She ran up to the door and tried the doorknob before she realized it was locked. "Really?" she breathed out. She didn't hesitate to search for the spare key, using it to unlock the door and putting it back in its special hiding place, one of Namjoon's plant friends' pot. She pushed open the door with a radiant smile. "Good morning!" she shouted once the door clicked shut behind her. There were two people sitting in the living room. One being Jin, who scrolled through his cellphone, and the other being Namjoon, who was eating a bowl of cereal. "Chinsunie!" Jin cooed, waving the girl over to sit next to him. She skipped toward him and flopped onto the couch, right between the two boys. "You're up early," Namjoon stated, eyeing the messy haired brunette who was still dressed in her pajama set. "I am," she replied in a sing-song voice.
"Yah, you're never this happy in the morning. What's going on?" Sunny slumped back into the couch cushions as a large smile overtook her features, her teeth dug into her bottom lip. "I don't want to share until everyone is awake," she told the eldest once her head lolled over into his direction. He only scoffed, his phone now forgotten about, and crossed his arms. "I'll start waking everyone up," Namjoon huffed. She watched as he stood from his seat, his bowl now left on the table, and waddled toward the bedrooms. Jin's voice lowered as he eased toward the girl. "Is this about that boy?" Her response was obvious the moment her cheeks began to tinge pink, her hands flying to muffle the girlish giggle that slipped past her lips. "Maybe..." He playfully pushed the girl over. She didn't fight back, she only fell against the cushions and laughed.
"Why am I awake?" Yoongi's groggy morning voice sounded out as he slammed his bedroom door closed. He didn't bother to walk around the couch. He crawled over the back and landed right beside Sunny, letting his head fall onto her shoulder. Hoseok entered next, his dark hair a mess atop his head. He wore a tank top and boxer briefs, his customized Hope World blanket Sunny had gotten him wrapped around his shoulders. "Good morning, handsomes," she laughed out, her fingers smoothing Yoongi's hair in attempt to keep it from tickling her nose. "Noooo!~" Jungkook shouted from his bedroom, followed by a loud thud. Sunny glanced over the back of the couch to see her brother walk into the room, rubbing his eyes. "You're a brat, did you know that?" he asked her, only for her to blow him a kiss.
Her eyes scanned the room once Taehyung had finally dragged a half asleep Jungkook behind him. "Is Eunnie not here?" Jimin shook his head as his lips stretched over a yawn. "She stayed over at Soojin's." Sunny's lips fell into a pout. She really wanted the girl to be there when she exploited the news, but she just sighed. "Well, I have big, big news!" Yoongi wrapped his arms around Sunny's torso, his nose burying in her neck. She only rubbed his back. "So, you guys know Junhui, right? Well, not know, but—"
"Get to the point," Yoongi grumbled.
"Okay, okay. Well, he took me on a... date last night."
Jimin perched upright, his eyes wide, "What?"
Sunny covered her blushing cheeks as a school girl giggle slipped past her lips once again. "He took me on a date. It was so sweet! And he, um," she dropped her head, burying her face in Yoongi's fluffy hair. Namjoon felt his stomach drop at the sight of her getting so flustered over another guy; another guy that they knew nothing about, at that. "He asked me to be his girlfriend." Yoongi suddenly sat up straight, his body warmth leaving the small girl with a cold rush of wind. "What did you say?" he asked her seriously, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "I sa–said yes," she stuttered, unsure why the boys weren't excited for her. This was her first boyfriend. She never had time for them way back when, being that she was so focused on studying and helping Jimin through training. Having a boyfriend never crossed her mind, not until now.
"Y–Yah! I haven't even met him!" Jimin shouted, startling a sleepy Jungkook. His eyes widened as he stared at the oldest Park twin. "Y–You will! He's throwing the girls and I a party tonight. I want you guys to come!" Namjoon shrunk in his chair. Jin patted the girl's head, causing her to whip around and look at him. "I'm happy for you, Chinsunie. We'll be there." She smiled gratefully toward the eldest in the room before turning back to look at Yoongi. He was still thinking, the gears turning in his head seemingly louder than the conversation around him. "Yoonie?" Her voice was small, yet it pulled the older male out of his thoughts. "If you're happy, Sunny, I'll always support you. And you know that." She nodded. Her eyes began to sting as tears formed behind them, and she quickly hid the fact as she hugged Yoongi tight, her head facing the opposite way of the group.
"He better treat you right, noona. Or we'll have to kick his ass," Jungkook stated. "Language," Namjoon warned, but his warning was half assed. Jungkook looked toward his hyung in confusion, but quickly disregarded it the moment Sunny faced him. "Thank you, Kook-ah. Its nice to know that you guys will always have my back." Taehyung smiled his wide, boxy smile. "We love you," he simply stated. Hoseok awed at Taehyung's words, his volume getting louder as he stood from his seat. He wrapped his arms around Tae, pinching the boy's cheeks. "Can we have a group hug?" Namjoon felt his heart finally break as the group got up and came together in the middle. He avoided her wandering eyes. He knew that if he saw how happy she was in that moment now, knowing that it was because of someone else, he might not have been able to control his emotions.
They buried themselves into the hug, squeezing each other as some laughed. Sunny was pinned between Yoongi and Jin, Jin being the one to squeeze the lights out of her and laugh in her ear when she'd make a funny noise. Yoongi just let everyone hug him, which was a big reason why Sunny could feel Namjoon's hand brushing her sides and quickly retracting when he had noticed he'd done. How was he supposed to sit through a party knowing that he wasn't the one going to hold her hand and dance with her, or kiss her goodnight? "I love you guys. Idiots and all." She poked Jungkook's cheek before turning to Jimin. He rolled his eyes, though the smile on his face was evidence enough that he was happy for his sister. For now.

The bar Junhui had rented out was huge. Purple lights illuminated the brick walls and black, leather booths. Strobe lights flashed over the wooden dance floor, leaving it in red, green, and blue spotlights. Namjoon could hardly breathe in the smoke filled room. There weren't as many people as he had anticipated. It was strictly the girls and the member of Junhui's group, SEVENTEEN. "Are you okay?" Jin asked the leader of their group, nudging him in the side. He hadn't felt great since Sunny had revealed her news. He felt as if he had fallen ill and tried his hardest to get out of the event, but he was told that his absence would break her heart. But would it really? She had already seemed to be focused on Junhui, leaving Namjoon in the dust. Was that day at the park nothing to her? He exhaled through his nostrils, finally turning toward Seokjin. "Yeah. I'm good," he lied.
The boys looked around the place for the guests of honor. Jimin pushed through to find Eunjeong speaking with the girls. He smiled brightly at her, calling her name. Her head snapped toward the sound and an angelic smile crossed her features. "Chim!" she called out as she bounced toward her new boyfriend, throwing her arms around his neck. He admired the royal blue dress hanging from her frame, making her skin dazzle beneath the lights. "Hey, beautiful," he cooed before pressing a soft kiss to her lips. Jungkook cleared his throat awkwardly. Namjoon felt a pang of jealousy over the happy couple. He looked down at his watch. They had arrived later than expected, mainly due to Jin and Jimin both arguing over who should change since they had picked out the same shirt. And, even though they were late, they still arrived before Chinsun and her new boyfriend.
Just as Namjoon was going to tell the boys he was going back to the dorm, his eyes found her figure. She wore a light pink, long sleeved dress that fit her like a glove. Her curly hair was pulled back into a ponytail, her baby hairs framing her heart shaped face. He felt his heart skip a beat just at the sight of her beaming smile, but it seemed to stop completely when he noticed the hand around her waist. Junhui held her to his body so close, it was a surprise he hadn't tripped over her. He was about to tear his eyes away from her when hers connected with his, an excited gleam within the irises. She escaped Junhui's tight grip and rushed for the boys. "You came!" she gushed, hugging Taehyung first as he was closest. "You look beautiful!" Hoseok complimented the Park twin.
"Thank you, Hobi," she giggled. He grabbed her hand and made her spin, showing off the lovely dress Junhui had bought her specifically for the party. Junhui felt his chest tighten at the sight. He didn't like how these boys seemed to be so comfortable to share skinship with his girlfriend. He cleared his throat, attracting the group's attention, and plastered on a fake smile. "Hi. I'm sorry I didn't get to introduce myself at their debut, but I'm Wen Junhui. Sunny's boyfriend." He made sure to emphasize the word boyfriend, especially after noticing Namjoon's eyes trace up and down Sunny's figure. Namjoon finally met Junhui's eyes. He stood straight, his chest out. All of the boys noticed it, except Jungkook, who was too busy talking to Sunny about their song.
"Nice to meet you, man. I'm Jimin, her brother." Jimin's stare was cold. Junhui radiated a dark energy that he didn't like one bit. Junhui nodded at the male, chuckling. "Yeah, I know. We've talked about you a lot." Sunny was suddenly pulled back into Junhui's arms, startling a confused Jungkook and Taehyung. Both boys noticed her own shocked expression before it wiped away and turned into a kind smile. "Enjoy the party, gentlemen. We're going to get a drink." Sunny waved to the group, allowing Junhui to lead her toward the bar. The boys all followed her small frame before turning to Eunjeong, who stood there in shock. "He was not like that when we first met him," she explained. Jimin sighed. Why did Sunny always have to get herself into this kind of situation? She was too trusting. "Maybe he's just nervous."
Yoongi scoffed at Eunnie's words before turning back toward the doorway. "How long do we have to stay for?" he asked. Namjoon felt his head begin to swim with impure thoughts about the girl and her boyfriend. He could imagine the way his fist would feel landing right against Junhui's nose. He could feel her small and warm hands captivating his cheeks as they danced below the bright lights. "At least an hour, please. Let loose and have fun." Eunnie pulled Jimin toward the dance floor with a small smile. He gave in to her puppy dog eyes and moved out into the small crowd while the boys found an empty table. "Don't worry, Joon," Jin spoke, clapping his hand on the male's shoulder, "she's happy. You'll find someone."
As the night went on, Namjoon proceeded to get himself piss drunk. He watched as Sunny downed each drink Junhui gave her, falling into her clingy drunk state. His eyes hadn't left the two as their lips met in quick, drunken kisses that made the girl giggle wholeheartedly. "Hyung? Are you okay?" Jungkook stumbled up to Namjoon. His cheeks were red from the alcohol he had consumed, and his eyes were barely staying open. Namjoon just stared at the maknae before turning back to the drink in his hand. "I don't like him. I haven't talked to my sister this whole stupid party," Jimin voiced. The three were probably the most drunk out of the group, Yoongi decided to take the place of designated driver. Said sober individual, sat beside Jimin, helping him stay upright in his seat. "Maybe we should say our goodbyes and head back out to the dorm."
All eyes fell on the couple, and were soon narrowing in hatred. Junhui's fingers were wrapped firmly within her curly hair and pulled harshly, exposing the length of her neck. Her face contorted into slight pain at the movement before her lips parted as a gasp slipped past her lips the moment he kissed around her throat. Namjoon tightened his fist, his vision turning red at the sight of him handling her so roughly. Sunny was like a flower. You needed to handle her delicately or else she could fall apart. "What the hell does he think he's doing?" he growled lowly. He noticed the way Junhui's fingers flexed around her throat, holding her in place as he connected their lips in a passionate and messy kiss that made the boys' stomachs churn in disgust. "H–He's touching her inappropriately!" Jungkook whined.
Their lips parted and Junhui grabbed both of Sunny's arms. He wasn't delicate pulling her off of the stool. She stumbled on her high heels and the stool almost fell from beneath her, but she only giggled. The alcohol within her system shadowed every little thing he did, making it seem loving in a way. He pulled her toward the dance floor where one of her favorite songs began to play. "He's treating her like a rag doll," Jimin exclaimed, his Busan accent becoming stronger as anger infiltrated his mind. The boys watched as Junhui pulled Sunny into him, his hands gripping her hips. Just as the two began to dance, a familiar figure approached. Hoseok and Taehyung approached the two with beaming smiles. "Want to dance, Sunny?" J-Hope asked, holding his hand out for the girl to take.
Junhui wrapped a single arm around her waist, keeping her flush against him. "Can't you see that she's already dancing with someone?" he spat at the older male. Hoseok's jaw ticked at Junhui's tone, but he only shook his head. "This is our song. Sunny and I only dance with one another to this song." Junhui scoffed. His dark eyes raked up and down Hoseok's frame before meeting his eyes once again, a smirk residing on his lips. "Not anymore." — "I'm sorry, Hobi," the girl whined, her lips formed in a pout. She was about to speak again when Junhui pulled her away from the two males. "What a dick," Hoseok muttered beneath his breath as he and Taehyung turned to go back to their table. His eyes found Namjoon's blazing fury. "Oh, no."
"What is it, hyung?" Hoseok only pointed toward Namjoon, who was standing to his feet now. Without another glance toward the girl captured between that idol's arms, he stormed out of the building. "We've got to do something about this," Yoongi spoke. "Hoseok, get Jin. We're leaving!"
