MAYBE IT was fate. Maybe lady destiny directed Taehyung and Jungkook toward that restaurant because of them. Either way, it was a blessing in disguise that they decided to eat out and stumbled upon a dressed up Chinsun and Junhui, both smiling at one another. Jungkook took action first. He called out to Sunny with a wide smile that showed off his teeth, waving over at the female the moment she turned to find him and Tae. Taehyung, though, initiated their move toward the table. And that is why Taehyung and Jungkook are now sitting on either side of Chinsun, taking in Junhuu's aggressive stares that would surely kill them if the power was possible. "Fancy seeing you two here," Jungkook gushed, wrapping his arm around Sunny's shoulder as he hugged her in greeting. "It's been a while!"

Taehyung snorted in response to Jungkook. His hair was pushed back in a hat, showing off his forehead. "It's been forever, really. How have you been? Both of you." Taehyung threw a weary glance over at Junhui. His hands were tightened within his lap, though he knew not to show his irritation in a place so public. "Good, thank you! Practice is moving on well," Sunny giggled, patting Taehyung's hand that rested over her other one. Both boys smiled at the one smile they had missed the past month. "I can't wait until we're able to tour. I hope you guys and the rest of the group will come to at least one show." Jungkook flashed his bunny smile as a light shade of red captured his cheeks. "Of course, noona! We wouldn't miss it in the world!" Junhui suddenly cleared his throat, breaking the three's conversation.

"We were on a date," he voiced, narrowing his gaze at the still blushing Jungkook. Sunny frowned at Junhui before turning back to the boys. "Oh, really? Mind if we join?" Taehyung asked, looking toward the brunette. With a beaming smile, Sunny agreed. They wouldn't stay long, surely. She missed the boys tremendously. What would them sitting for a few minutes hurt? A lot, apparently. "Are you eating well, noona? You're looking skinny." Jungkook poked the girl's arm, causing her to pout. "Yah! I do not. Maybe I'm just strengthening my muscles!" A giggle slipped past his smiling lips. Even Taehyung chuckled. "It won't be long before I can beat you up, Jungkook-ah." — "I'm sure, Sunny noona. I'm trembling in my seat right now. You just can't tell."

Junhui's fists tightened as he watched Sunny shove Jungkook with a laugh. His eyes bore into her face with a harsh glare. She chose to ignore it. She wanted to spend time with her boys for a moment. "I'm eating fine. It could be because we've been practicing so much lately," she finally explained to the boys after collecting herself. Taehyung hummed. "How is practice? Hard?" She sighed. Her shoulders lifted with the action. Sympathy shone within the two boys' eyes as she nodded her head. "It is a lot more difficult than I had expected. But I'm pushing through it!" Her pout was soon replaced with a bright smile. Tae grabbed her hand and gave it a squeeze, chuckling at the size difference. It was like holding Jimin's hands. "You can do it. We believe in you," Jungkook hummed. Sunny smiled appreciatively at the two boys.

"How about you? Any new songs you can surprise me with?" She wiggled her eyebrows jokingly, causing both boys to laugh. "You should be asking Namjoon hyung about that. He never leaves the studio." The mention of Namjoon had Sunny's heartbeat picking up. Something in her face changed and Junhui was quick to notice it. "Really? Do you know if he's taking care of himself? I know how he can get." Junhui fought the urge to shout. Why was she caring so much about another man?, he thought to himself. He gritted his teeth and picked up the wine glass in front of him. "We think he may just miss you. You two had gotten so close." As the end of his sentence left his lips, Taehyung's eyes met Junhui's. A small smirk quirked at the edge of the younger boy's lips. "I should probably check up on him, right? Make sure he's eating and sleeping."

"He's a grown man. I'm sure he doesn't need you to baby him," Junhui spat after downing the rest of his wine. Sunny's eyes widened at the harshness of his words. "It isn't babying, Hui. Everyone deserves to be checked up on," she argued, but her words fell into a whisper at the sight of the anger within her boyfriend's eyes. She sat back in her seat, her smile now vanished from her face. "A phone call should suffice, then." Jungkook's eyebrows furrowed at the harshness of the eldest's words. He sat back in his seat with a huff. "He doesn't look too bad. He comes back to shower. We think he's hiding a new mixtape," the youngest explained. Sunny clasped her hands together in excitement. She brushed off the sour expression on her boyfriend's face and focused on the two beside her. "Really?" she asked, peering over at the maknae.

Jungkook nodded, glancing over toward Taehyung. "It should be a good one. He's had a lot of inspiration." A small smile crawled across her pink painted lips at the news. "That's good! I can't wait until he decides to share it. He's so talented." Taehyung and Jungkook locked eyes and seemed to speak telepathically. She still cares. Junhui waved over a waiter, asking for more wine while Sunny nursed her glass. "What about you, Sunny? How's the music part going?" Her eyes seemed to brighten at the mention of their music and she straightened in her seat. "I think you guys are going to love it. We've all been working so hard—" Junhui snorted. All eyes traveled toward his slumped frame, his eyes watching as the red liquid poured into his glass. "What?" she asked shyly. He finally snapped his gaze back onto his girlfriend.

"The music is okay at best. If you two had been there, you'd notice that they don't really work hard at what they are doing. There are some slackers." Sunny felt her stomach twist. Her appetite had finally disappeared. "That isn't true," she squeaked out. Taehyung and Jungkook felt anger rush through them as Junhui straightened, his eyes narrowed and his jaw slack. "Isn't true? Chinsun, you can't get a simple choreography down. Your breath control is terrible." A low growl seemed to rumble in Taehyung's chest as he glared at Junhui. "Your lyrics are mediocre. I thought you wanted to inspire people?" — "Who do you think you are speaking to her like that?" Taehyung asked, his voice raised. Jungkook and Sunny both gasped in shock at the boy's outburst. "Tae," she spoke gently, but it was overpowered by the sound of Junhui's chair scraping backward.

"Who do you think you are interrupting our date like this?" he seethed. Taehyung didn't hesitate to stand and face off with the Chinese idol, his almond shaped eyes narrowed aggressively. "We're her friends, asshole." Junhui cracked a smirk. The action took Taehyung by surprise. What the hell is he thinking? "Yeah, well... I'm her boyfriend," he spat. His penetrating gaze turned toward Sunny, instantly making her shrink into herself. "And we're going home. Right, babe?" She slowly nodded her head. She sent both Jungkook and Taehyung apologetic smiles before standing from her seat. "You don't have to go, noona," Jungkook popped, grabbing the girl's hand. She was quick to snap her wrist away before Junhui could react, but it was too late. Junhui took quick strides toward Jungkook and grabbed the male by the collar of his shirt with flames of anger within his eyes.

"Keep your hands off of her!" Junhui hissed, shaking the boy a little. "Junhui!" Sunny gasped. Taehyung was quick to intervene, tearing Jungkook from Junhui's grip. "Hey! Back off!" Tae growled, shoving Junhui away from the youngest of the group. Jungkook's eyes were wide in surprise at the man's actions. He had only grabbed Sunny's wrist. "Junhui," Sunny spoke in a calmer tone, hurriedly grabbing her boyfriend's arms to pull him away. "I'm so sorry, Kook. I'll see you guys later, okay?" Both boys stared in awe as Sunny pulled Junhui toward the entrance. They could see the way he squeezed her hand too tight, her face scrunched upward uncomfortably. "You okay?" Taehyung asked Jungkook, tearing the boy out of his thoughts. "Yeah.. but I don't think she is."
