Kill triangle

(Pokemon/Apocalypse scenario)

"It's been over thirty years in this wasted world....
Most are born in it. Some saw how society fell to it's knees.
But all here feel there is no hope, no light of day to come. No salvation from this destroyed and fallen civilization.
Some think the world was...nuked all over, governments around trying to stop all war by killing everything. Can't fight if no one is alive.
Others think this is the punishment we deserve. The world falling into ruin by Arceus' hand. Many think this is the most logical explanation to our situation. A rightful punishment to a world full of sin.
Another quarter just think this is straight anarchy. Feeling our federal friends failed to support laws and just......gave up. Leaving us to kill and die to anarchy of evil people.

They seem to think knowing the reason why we're here will...bring them some sort of future hope. Thinking they can fix this world. Maybe a reason to smile through it all. Holding onto that hope for salvation. Maybe for themselves, others, or the world.
Regardless....we all have to fight or die. Go ahead, smile...it won't do you any good. But...what can you do...really. Many want to fix this damaged Earth, but they know they can't. Wasting their breath on something so insolent and futile and out of their power.
It is a good show though. While we sit in the back and wallow in our grief. We just laugh at the entertainers of the situation. Try and fail. But, we have to give them some credit. Those Independent ones who at least break their backs, well. A fine example of idealism. But at least their stupid ideals are justified. At least they try. But that's well wasted. All we can do now...
Is live.
No matter what you believe in
No matter what you think is logical
Whatever you feel is happiness
Whatever you feel is morally right
Wherever you think is hope
Wherever you think is balance
What you think
What you feel....

Is all fake. We just have to learn to accept that. This world! Is ruined!

Fortunately...I do accept this. The creator chooses not to give us a second chance, perhaps feeling we are a failed creation. True or not, we survive.
Pity and love cannot exist here....whatever you love, will be ripped away from you. Anything you deem or hold precious is in grave danger of being snatched or killed, whether it be a measly family photo, maybe a gun, or your child.
The only place you can hold them......
Is your mind ."

-2 days before-

"You know, I find this...ironic. Pokemon....defined as creatures with a sense of power to non-lethal, to a planet threatening level. The one thing that has been around for a few millennia. As well possessing enough individuality to be our own legends, children and to others who look up to our valor."

A low, near emotionless, but gruff voice said, whilst reloading a handgun. A bleeding Greninja, slowly, desperately crawling away from it's demise.

"But....instead. We've become like our fellow Human companions. Here's to clarify. See this? I'm not supposed to be using this. But, I would have lost if I didn't." Finally loading in the next clip and pointing it at the face of the wounded Pokemon. But he didn't shoot yet.

"H-how did you beat me? I....urgh...I'm a Water type, you, fire! I should...h-have beat you!"

"Yeah you would have, if I didn't have these. The smarter....Pokemon, have decided to look up to Human intellect.
Turns out, using the technology that the Humans have manufactured is indeed revolutionary...so much so, it's caught our eyes. But, we have killed for survival and defense, not for sport or other twisted reasons. Or even bothered to use such weapons.
We've entered a new Era...one that more specifically changes us and society. I bet you're scared right now...
Knowing I can end your life in a second's notice..."

Narrowing his eyes in anger, and his finger a little closer to the trigger. All the bleeding victim could do was beg for his life in pain. Although, his hefty words aided him to ignore his pain to a degree. What he said had an odd meaning to it. An aspect he didn't quite catch onto...the pain was making it too difficult for him to truly take in his words.

"Please, man...I'm...already hurting so much. *cough*. Bleeding...rggh...I feel....*huff* cold...and hot from shock. Desperately trying to...to live."

"It's called 'dying', Dark type. This is your punishment for trying to make me and my Son your prey.
You fight.
You die...
That's how things go around here. You Feral Pokemon are powerless against us smarter ones.
We have...evolved, in a strange sense. Adopting newer ways of defense and survivability. Fight alone, die quick."

All the helpless Pokemon could do was close his eyes and wait for his fate. After some lengthy seconds of silence, the world was filled with a booming BANG! And so his suffering ended. His punishment for trying to kill him and his son and make them dead meat.
Some feet in the distance, a Combusken child was lightly crying. Perhaps fear from the predator, maybe the weapons his Father used. Or maybe the fact he keeps having to witness evil people and Pokemon die. He revealed his child from scrap and put his dual pistols on his waist belt. An accessory his long lost trainer found in a abandoned Gas station. He picked him up, and held him in his arms, and shushed the crying child.

"It's OK, my son. No need to be afraid, you're safe now." Speaking softly, and rubbing his head feathers, while his child held onto his neck, and crying on his shoulder.

"Dad? W-why does everyone have to die...
Why is everyone so...so mean? Why can't we just be friends!" Bringing up a challenging question to the Father. He looked at the Sunset horizon to the wasted city. Cars, rubble, and the road torn, cracked and destroyed. But the sky, the atmosphere remained the only picture that shall remain exotic and uncontaminated.

He hugged his son, tears slightly built in his own eyes. He was pained by the unfortunate truth as well.

"Because the world lost it's peace. Our 'higher human's', failed to keep even us happy. Now we're forced to walk with our fallen friends..." It's been harder since he lost his Mother. He never really questioned it. His Father, however. He completely shifted once he lost his mate. All he could do was silently stare at the being he loved most in the world. Knowing he could do nothing about it.

-40 minutes later-

Just a little bit of searching deep into the city. Trying to find resources and whatnot. He remained heavily alert, as always. And this time, it shook his senses.
He overheard someone trip on some metal. His nerves skyrocketed, and pulled out both the pistols in a near split second. Seemed like a teen in appearance, male with Blue hair and a Backpack. Until he noticed the nervous Blaziken. He threw up his hands and tried to show no sign of threat, fearing he would be shot.

"Hey, hey. I tripped, I'm not gonna fight. I'm just trying to survive...like you." He said the last part a little slowly, emphasizing the daily survival. He could see how there was a younger Pokemon next to it, a second evo. He assumed they could be siblings...or maybe Parent and child. Until he noticed some bizarre aspects of the older one.
First of all, why was he wearing polarized sports sunglasses? They had a Yellow, Purple, Red tint in them. Almost distinctive to his own body color. And he had a Belt waist for his guns, which threw him off harshly. Sure was one rather characterized Blaziken.
After some seconds of staring, the Father pointed his gun in the other direction as a sign to 'get moving'. Seeing no need to stare. With the kid getting the point, he walked off and continued his day, as did the father.

-Hours into the evening-

With a setup campfire in the middle of the city, with setup barbed-wired-fences around, that he stole from some places around the city. Making sure they stayed extra safe. He seemed to be heavily unsettled by the void blanketed streets. Unfortunately, the moon boasted it's nightly glow only in areas it deemed worthy of it's light.
And the darkness keeping to itself in the shadows...
Dark types could easily blend in and take them by surprise.

While he occasionally looked at his sleeping boy. Some hours of supervising, and making sure they wouldn't get jumped by nightly predators. He finally let out a delayed yawn, and get some well needed sleep. Any lack of it could heavily hurt him in the morning. He finally rested and wrapped his arms around the sleeping boy. Holding onto his gem, always fearing he would be taken.

-Next Morning-

It seems the sun has followed the same fate as the moon. In their direction, rising on the East side, making a golden glow to the unblocked light of the rotted buildings. But they had to get up. Hunt for their breakfast and find resources. As always it would be a busy day. No one seemed to be around, so predators must have left them alone.

So this is the life in the Apocalypse....

-Some time in the afternoon-

"Kaymin, stay close. You never know what could jump out." Warning his son to keep his guard up and looking around wearily. He always felt like something was out to get him. It's was making him sick, killing him internally. He had a friend before, leave and betray him...all because he thought sacrificing him would grant his escape and run away. Well...his pal got away, but him and his son almost died because of it. With the topic occupying his mind, he figured it would nice to bring up to his Son.
"Did I ever tell you about a friend who betrayed me, Son? You remember his name?"
"Um...I think it started with a D or something. And didn't you say he was a Grass type?"

"Yes...he, by now, is another Gun-wielding Pokemon in this world. Uses a rifle, and since his vision is...well, extremely keen. He uses Iron sights."
"What does that mean? Sometimes you say things I don't even know..."
"Oh, um. It means he hasn't added a cosmetic scope to it. He doesn't need it, he's just that accurate. But when I find him...I'll..."
Feeling a cutoff from the loss of words. And eventually abandoned his sentence with a shake-off. He doesn't want revenge or to even kill him. He's tired of that...killing every day of his life, he's almost desensitized to it. But maybe some day, him and a old friend can get back together and help each other out.
But not without a brutal scolding first.

"Where are we going, dad?"
"Wherever our heart takes us. There's no such thing as the right way. " Seeing how broken the world truly is.
If everyone thought things beforehand were bad?
Heh...they have no idea what kind of global anarchy it's in now...

-35 minutes later-

"Dad, I'm getting hungry!"

"Be patient, Son. Your Father's doing his best here. I'll see what I can try to fi-"

Cutting off his words from a sudden blast of grunts and gunshots. It came from a distance, and the sound was clear as day. He could only measure that someone was in trouble. He tapped his Son's shoulder, and went into a jogging sprint to intercept all the commotion. It was a voice that belonged to a female, a rather talkative and explosive one. And he also understood it in his Pokemon language. With shouts as 'Get some!', 'Come on, chumps!' Provocative and annoying, mixing with sounds of bangs and fighting. As they got closer, they saw a horde of Pokemon attacking one, which so happened to be one that was using an AR, with a dark green army looking jacket. A Midnight Lycanroc, as well with something like an ear piece from her ear to her mouth. Looked like some sort of communication device. But the funny thing was, seeing something near 4 feet tall with a Weapon that requires two arms.
It just looked wrong...they just look unfit to wield weapons that are half the size of their body.
He was going to rush in and help, seeing how there were 7 Pokemon of different sizes and types coming at her, back to back. But they were getting slayed in a matter of seconds, so it seemed like she could handle it.

"You idiots should know better not to challenge someone with a gun, haha!" She taunted her attackers while they dodged and attempted to claw, bite, kick or pounce at her.

"Ugh, will she ever shut up!?" A Poliwrath complained a few feet away. She kicked off a Houndoom and layed a few bullets in it's head, before she could have her's bitten off.
Apparently, her mag was empty, so she found this an optimal moment to snark off. With a rude smirk looping her muzzle against her enemies. Either they hated how much of a nuisance she was. Or how incredibly difficult it was to kill a gun-wielding Pokemon.
"My mouth is like my gun. When I'm in action, I'm on fire! hehehe."

"I'll kill you myself!" A Rhydon shouted from a distance away. But this one took her by surprise. And he had a nasty fleshly hole in the right side of his face. It was almost like someone shot it out.
While the Blaziken quietly watched all this chaos, he witnessed her get brutally kicked in the side by him. It was a painful tumble, and grunted while holding her chest. A little winded, and nearly cracked her ribs. And he menacingly walked towards the bruised Lycanroc; her gun was knocked away, as well the halfway installed mag from it. She tried to get up, and seemed like she was dead.

"Well I guess this is the end. Heh. You gonna eat me, ya' chumps? Or do you guys....rrgh...kill for sport now?" Trying to keep a sense of bravery even when this could be death.

"Seems you're not in enough pain...I'll fix that." He said darkly, putting his heavy foot on her throat. Even without any excessive pressure it was heavy. A 3 ton Pokemon, and all she could do was struggle under him. Grunt and try to catch air.

"Awfully colorful for a Pokemon like you...too bad for you I guess." Raising his foot to stomp. But at the last second another, a much LOUDER BOOM, went through. Unlike a regular pistol or rifle sound, this one was outright thunderous, and it echoed the ruined city with it's explosive voice.
The Rydon's head exploded, with his Brain being blasted to bits, and his headless figure was bleeding badly. As well the attacking Pokemon fleeing for their lives. They scattered before they could be finished off.

"Decommissioned, hahaha!!"
The downed Lycanroc laughing how the tables were turned.
someone seemed saved her at the last given second.
That was until the Sniper came out and lept from a huge building. Jumping off the sides of others, grabbing onto ledges to soften his fall speed. Then using his leg strength to jump off a building wall, and finally in front of his kill.

"What happened to your head!? Oh wait...it got shot off your shoulders!"
A Sceptile with a Single-shot Sniper rifle taunted the corpse. It was only until all the fighting stopped, when the Father made himself know.

"What was all that...you guys think this is a game?" Walking up to them and bluntly saying out. Feeling as if they didn't take their own lives seriously. The Sceptile helped his comrade up, until the snarky Lycanroc replied.

"No, we fully understand what's happening. Although, I find it funny how wilds keep fighting us 'urban types'. Thinking they actually have a chance against us. Ha! Idiots. But some things never change."

"Some things shouldn't change."
Recognizing as even he shouldn't be delved so deeply into the world of violence and killing. There's no respect or naturality put into it, at least when they're using Human tech.

"Well I mean, sometimes the rush is fun. That explosive power shaking your arms, the ear-defining sound of metal spitting out the muzzle at 900 miles an hour, that Adrenaline of sitting between life and death, and....wait, isn't this the Rydon, Kalo tried to kill? He said he shot a Rhydon...in the head....with a SHOTGUN! Still didn't die, Eheha!" Switching topics awfully quick whilst laughing at how it was impractical for him to survive such a shot. Until the Blaziken Father looked at the disgusting dead body.

"Well, it was a Rock type, mixed with Ground. So you bet your tail it would have a very tough outer shell to resist even that kind of ammunition."

"Well that explains why it lost it's face. Not it's head. He almost died that day. Fortunately, me, you, and Kalo, sure make a good team. Wait, I forgot to use his disguise name." He said glancing at his partner. Not directly talking to the Fire type

"Um...who are you two, anyway? Because you seemed to be associated with...some sort of organization, you have the same mouth piece as her, which I could only assume means you have distant communication." The Father finally asked.

"Well, glad you asked!" The Sceptile said, putting his Sniper on his back.
"We're part of this crew called M.I.D.S. Basically, we're like...an Apocalypse survival team, saving any injured or dying people and Pokemon, and rescuing them to our base. Don't worry, it's critter proof. We all help each other. Anyone specializing in medical, scouting, trapping, hunting, surveillance, skills. All the defenses we need to keep everyone happy, healthy, fed and safe."

"And....what is that abbreviation supposed to mean..." A more interesting question hitting him. They sounded like some people worth knowing.

"It means Mark, Intercept, Defend, Save. Not the...strongest definition, but it stands out."

"Can you tell me your names?"

"Sorry Mister, that's classified as well...although, I'm Sharpshot." The Sceptile said with a disguise nickname to keep his real identity hidden.

"I'm Howler. Don't know who to trust these days." She said looking off with a slow Dissapointed shake.

"Hmm, OK. Hey, do you have anyone with you?" Switching gears, feeling uneasy of safety. Since they were well exposed in the middle of the ruined city.

"Yes, my child. I'm trying to find a place where he can stay, without the risk of him losing his life. He's only 12, near advancing. I'd like him to at least live to see 18."

"You better make sure that kid is extra safe." Sharpshot said to the Father, although it seemed obvious. He looked down and groaned. It was difficult doing so by himself.

"It's not easy doing it alone. Maybe it would be better if I let him stay with you guys. You seem dangerous in a way."
"Only to the outside world and threats, we are. We'll shoot, if threatened." Sharpshot quickly chimed in, and letting out a

"Yes please, we encourage this! We'll protect for as long as we can. And when it's time, he'll be the one to protect any defenseless wanderers." And the smaller Pokemon encouraging his suggestion.

"Where are you guys located?" Going with the idea, since it seemed to be the only way to keep his Son safe for at least a long time. The two Pokemon looked at each other for a second, wondering if he could be trusted. But, he did want to protect his kid, and didn't seem to pose any sort of hostility or unpleasant behavior.

"We'll...work that out. For now we gotta-...well, that's home calling in. I'll get back to you in a minute."
Putting their conversation on a halt, and trying to talk to their Captain.

"Well now's a nice time to report. Alright, come in Captain? Yes, we're fine. No one is...well, 'dead'. We took out all threats. We're just talking to some stranger right now. A Father, a Blaziken with two guns, and...a unique demeanor. He wants to see if he can send his child over here........alright, we'll talk it through. One thing though, my partner here seems a little hurt, same Rydon that Kalo shot in the eye?... Yeah, I'm sure you guys remember him. Well, I killed him, and he almost stomped my partner here."
Talking into the comm piece to their boss or 'Captain'. Sounding a little prideful over it.

"Gah. I'm fine...didn't even...break my ribs. Did hurt though, took a second to catch my breath." She said trying to rub off the pain. Close call.

"Um, we're going to send you to the medical center when we get back...we're not risking anything." He said quietly to the slightly shorter Pokemon, as to not confuse his conversation with her or the Captain.

"Ok, we'll continue to look around. We just started scouting, and got jumped. But we're fine. Roger. Over and out." Turning off the call system and looking back at the tall Fire type.

"What am I going to use to get there? I'm not like you guys, using the most 'advanced weaponry and gadgets'. I like to keep my simplicity. I at least want to be recognized as a Pokemon." Stating his preferences, as he didn't favor becoming to be enriched with Human tech. They chuckled out of nervousness for a second. But they had a counter plan.

"Ehhhhh, what do you mean." Sharpshot asking, not quite gripping his words. The Blaziken just face palmed and disregarded his response.

"Nevermind then. We'll just send you a ride. How about that?"

"What kind of ride..."

"We'll send you a....Noivern, maybe a Dragon type to your pickup location. Be there by tomorrow. In the center of the city. And make sure you aren't followed. Most importantly, keep that kid alive."

The Sceptile said, cocking his Sniper and dashing off to wherever his coordinates command.

"We'll see ya!" As well her dashing off. Although, still one problem was there.
His Son was still hungry, he didn't forget. So, he devoted the rest of the day to finding food and resources. No doubt they needed it.

-Sunset-

"Don't worry son, I'm trying here. Just let me focus, and you'll be fed."

"It's...getting...worse." He said a little painfully, holding his stomach while he tried to walk with his Father. Until he finally saw something he could kill of decent size. An unaware group....a menu of prey. It made the Father smirk, as now he was the predator.
"See that son? All those are small game. But you shouldn't need to eat much for your size." Pointing to the team of 4, a Spearow, Pidgey, a Pichu...and Pikachu? Must have been siblings. So maybe killing one of it's friends would be better.
In a sense it pained him to do this. But in this world, it's kill or be killed. So he tried to shake it off.

"Once we get one of them, you can eat and pick off their meat until their bones are left." Stirring up more hunger in his son. This got him excited, as he saw the group too.
"Come on dad! Are you going to roast them? The Humans said food is always better when it's cooked."

"Hmm...well true. But it would be exhilarating, and once they see I'm trying to attack them. Our hunt will escape. So." He said pulling out one pistol and pulling the top, cocking the bullet, and aiming it for the Pidgey.
"Best to use this. Might want to cover your ears, Kaymin." He said, aiming the pistol at the head of the Pikachu. His hand was shaking though...he didn't want to kill them, Especially with the younger one right there next to it.
However.......it is for survival. The morale reasoning behind it almost made it impossible for him to take a young one's life.
He let our a pained sigh, closed his eyes and looked away. And then. BANG, went the gun. It scared off the flying types, but the Pichu screeched loudly. As the Pikachu fell back, the younger Pokemon looked at it's dead sibling. Terrorized with the horrific scene...but it shook it's sibling in a desperate calling.
The Father made himself known and looked down at the Pichu with a serious face.

"Please go....he's dead. Run....it's best." He said with a slightly shaky voice.
And then the young Pokemon ran off in a ball of tears and fear.
Why does it have to be the kids...He thought to himself. He tried to shake it off as quickly as he could, and grabbed the corpse by the tail.

-12 minutes later-

"How is it, Son? Is it.....good?" Trying to ask him if it was roasted well. Since he cooked it with his own fire thoroughly. Making sure to burn-but not too deeply- the flesh and meat of the corpse. Just enough to make it and even more pleasurable flavor than a raw kill.
His son replied with ecstasy.

"This is amazing! It taste....crunchy, but the meat taste sooooo, good~. Thanks daddy!"

Saying cheerfully, kicking his legs a little. He chuckled and rubbed his son's head.
A little bit after his Son finished, he heard rustling in bushes. It put him in high alert, as he tried to see what was tickling the leaves.

"Forgot.....I said I'll never sleep in a Forrest again." Feeling like he betrayed himself.
As soon as he got in a clearing, he saw another Pokemon coming towards him.
When their eyes met, the Father was heavily smited with dread. It was a Gallade with a Sniper rifle. But it was...bulkier, little longer. With some knowledge, he could tell it was a .50 cal, the tip had a wide muzzle on it, shaped like an arrow. He threw up his guns in defense.

"Hey, no need to fight. I am going to need that kid though." He said a little bluntly.

"Not a chance. I don't know who you think you are to just take my Son from me, in the night, and by yourself. Assuming I could trust you." Still holding his two weapons up to his face.

"Well there's somewhere I have to take this kid in particular. I have orders. There was a....change of plans back at base."

"Yeah, still not happening...the way I see it, you're the predator. And I see no reason why I shouldn't kill you. You seem to be a hazard." Going on with his presumptions.

"Hey, drop your Weapons." He said getting uneasy, and cocking his sniper, and bringing it right to his head.
"I don't want to fight. You can trust me, but if you engage, I will fight back-."

"I thought you were dead." A eerie, shadow, whisper-y like voice said, jumping down from the trees.
Green Feathers, glowing, menacing Orange eyes. And....of course he had a gun too. When he raised his head, the Blaziken instantly recognized this being. But his guard still.

"Well...it's hard to kill a Father. Duquin...."
The name belonging to the Decideueye. Fortunately his kid hid before this one could see him; as he always does.

"Well, I'm impressed you managed through that Havoc. Heh...I thought I could just forget about you and move on.
Seems....that can't happen." Letting out a soft, menacing chuckle as he looked down at the ground. Awfully shocked how he survived.

"You're a coward and a traitor. You were my friend! We protected each other! Until throwing us in the open could only save yourself...."
But all he did was smirk, and pull out his weapon too.
Seems this was going to be a gunfight...

"Sometimes.....cowards survive, Vado. I survived."

"But guardians live...I have something to protect, and I'm willing to lay my life so they can live. And now I'm being challenged with that." He said as two Pokemon were threatening him. It was until the unnamed Gallade scanned him with his eyes, and  became very unsettled.

"Wait, I know who you are!! You're part of those...savages who call themselves survivors, when they're killers! No remorse for life! Pick on the weak and take their loot!" Now shifting his Weapon to the fugitive. But the Grass and fire type kept their guns stationary on their targets. Nearly ignoring him.

"So...here to kill me? You gonna take my child too, because you're both targets." Stating out with a oddly calm voice, but his expression was uneasy and weary. He didn't know what exactly to do. And it scrambled his trust. What could he do. Daquin seemed like he wanted to kill him because he betrayed him.

"Yes...because I cant trust you anymore."

"Trust me!? You're the traitor here, so your death would be just!" Saying loudly, feeling his statement was inaccurate. His hands heating up from anger, and near visible smoke emitting from his mouth like a burning oven. Although, the Decideueye took favor to his anger. Although stereotypical, he saw him as a Hothead.

"Well look at you...we can set our weapons down and come to civilized terms." Keeping his head shadowed. That was until Vado let his anger get the better of him, and start a fight.

"There's no such thing as peace anymore..." He said, finally going into a vengeful rage. Shooting the Gallade in the leg, to make sure he wouldn't try anything while he shifted his focus elswhere. then attempting to tackle his old friend. Downing the other Pokemon to ensure he wouldn't try anything while they fight.
But the Grass type was too smart to be hit. He immediately flew up and hid himself into the shadow glazed leaves. And let out a chuckle in the night.

"Same as ever, Vado. Still the rambunctious Fire-face I know. I like that, shows you still have some youth in you."

"Come out and face me you coward!" Aiming up around the trees trying to find him. But all he heard was chuckles and laughs coming from nearly every direction, silent and mobile. Until he got swooped and clawed in the face by a talon across his face.

"You let your anger wield you. That will get you killed.....pal." He said a little bitterly. Since Vado's face was a little tough than feathery, he could take most of it. But it still hurt. It was until he got angrier and his hands lit up with fury. And his mouth smoking like an oven.

"I wanted to be friends again...seems we both can't have that."
"It is a shame. I wanted the same. This world put this weight on our shoulders, a new weight.
And that new one...being you." Coming down and jumping on his head. Irritating him more than hurting. His fire only grew stronger. Until he got an idea.
"Alright...want to play hide and seek? Let's see how well you survive, WHEN THERE'S NOWHERE TO HIDE!"

He lashed out, dropped his guns, built up a great internal heat. To the point where his mouth was glowing a white heat. Pure rage and hate into his breath. Until he let out a angry shout, and used Flamethrower on a couple nearby trees where he assumed he was hiding. Almost like a Dragon type, roaring it's might into the atmosphere.
With the logs easily catching flames, and burning them deeply. Seeing that this was no fight to be a part of. The Gallade ran out of the danger zone, but kept an eye on the fight.
Once Vado was done exhaling his rage. He huffed and puffed, exhausted from his move. And wiped his mouth from any hanging flames on the side of his mouth, as if cleaning his mouth off from any excess food.

"Let's see how...you-*huff*. Handle that."

"GRAAGHH!!" The Grass type shouting in anger, and coming out with a surprise attack, nailing his talons down into his back. Pinning him down, and it hurt.

"Do you realize what you have done!?" Saying with frustration. But the Blaziken just chuckled. Now it could be a real fight.

"Yeah, you have no place to hide..."

"Idiot!" He yelled out. "It seems you really don't want to play fair.....fine...let's get dirty then." Now calming down, and pulling off a Flintlock rifle off his back. By this point, it seemed like it was over. But still, Bad I wasn't scared. He had a couple ways of getting out of this.

"You do know....that...you're weak to me...right? Heh heh."

"Not when these things come into the picture. Guns don't care if you're a Poison, Steel, Dragon, or Ground type. You'll ALWAYS die to it."

"I think not..." He snarled back, grabbing his leg and throwing him off. And luckily made him lose grip of his rifle. Although disarmed, Pokemon are never defenseless.

"What are we doing!?" The hurt Gallade said, struggling for balance. That was until Daquin looked around. Vado seemed to not trust anyone. First he shot the Fighting type in fear his child would be taken. Next, fighting for his own life from a traitor. Connecting all this, he saw an odd...offensive cycle.

"Hmm...seems we're in a kill triangle...how ironic."

"Heh, I'd say the same. Seems opposite to a love triangle." Saying with a chuckle, as he got up.

"You're trying to kill him, fearing he will take your son. He's trying to kill me for how aggressive I am, or my lack of pity. Perhaps fearing I will kill him and loot him.
And I...want you dead because we can no longer be friends..."

"You put this on yourself. If only you hadn't of raised violence, no one would have to get hurt." Vado said back, looking at the fire spreading to other trees. It was getting bad fast. and soon the whole forest would burn. And seeing that angered Daquin. Feeling pity for the undeserved, fiery death his old friend will bring upon this peaceful plain of trees.

"Well, i'm not going down without a fight." The Decideueye said, and making another swoop into the trees, seeing it as his best cover. Again, the Fire type went into a defensive stance, ready for him to strike anywhere. Until the attacker came in with another swoop and came right to his face, his Talons cutting Vado's face and knocking off his shades. Which actually really angered him. He looked down to see his knocked off fallen sunglasses, and had a angry smirk on his face. He grabbed his wing to prevent any further escape, and said-
"You really messed up now..." With those words, that instilled a great fear into him. Charging up a slightly more powerful, angrier Flamethrower, and using it right in his face; engulfing his body into a wrap of flaming breath.
Daquin screamed out in agony, with not only the pain nearly killing him. But also burning nearly all his feathers off, and to a near burned crisp form of flesh and wings. After that excruciatingly painful burn, he threw him into a tree, sitting there, smoking and terribly hurt. Faint moans could be heard from him, as he sat there on the edge of death.
While the traitor sat there, he looked at the easily spreading fire. Seeing how it was destroying the calm night into a Smokey evening. As it spread like a onslaught, he dropped his head and let out a pained groaned.

"We can...s...stop this...*huff* before it's too late." The Gallade said out, in a pained breath.
"We can...send Water types to our area. And clean up...your...mess." He said a little more bitterly this time, emphasizing his mistake.
That fact seemed to make Vado feel even worse. Sure they Earth was in ruin; but life STILL existed around. Of course, it's not the same as a well populated one. But, life is life, whether it moves or stationary. Plant or Pokemon, it's alive. He at least cared about that. Until he threw out all suspicion and paranormal thought. And spoke serouisly.

"Look. Can I trust you!? Everywhere I go, death stalks me. And my Son, my precious gem! I lost one...I CANNOT lose...a second." Feeling internal conflict and scrunching his fists, as if mad at himself. All that pain...having to ignore it on a daily basis. Although hurt, the Psycic got up, not even expecting an apology. He helped himself up, leaning on a tree to speak.

"Yes, yes I'm...here to help. I'll take your boy to a safe place...a...and we can deal with this, because I-it's getting bad. None o...of us are fit to fight it. Only a Water type can....c...cease this upcoming disaster." Struggling to speak past the pain.

"Then please...take him." He said, hoping his Son would come out. He was always a well hidden boy.

"Kaymin go with him. Daddy's gotta' handle something." He said out, not knowing of his hiding area. But he wearily crept to his Father's side.
"Go with him, please."
"But Daddy, he has a big scary gun." Pointing to the 50.caliber rifle. It did look rather large on his back.

"Agh, it's only to protect. Come on, let's g-go before things get worse." Indicating to one whole burning tree. Fortunetly, it wasn't windy, otherwise this would have been extremely dire. Then he looked at his burnt friend. Were they even friends anymore?

"You can burn and die for all I care...if you threaten me again?" Coming over to the nearly burnt-alive-Decideuye. He looked up at Vado weaklily, showing him he had his attention.
"I will kill you." And to prove the point further, whipped out his gun, and held it firmly under his neck with a glare.

"We may have been old friends...but you threw that away long ago...I could have forgave you!" Saying in almost a plead. Daquin chuckled and gripped his pistol.

"Traitors don't get to live...it's been like that since the ancient days...
Besides...I'm not going to make it out-"
"Then you can just hold onto the last bit of life you have left. I still cared about you....and I'm genuinely pained by this." A little stutter in his voice, but his glare continued. Looking at his fallen friend in the eyes with a firm stare.

"You wouldn't have cared if I died...you probably...w...would have preferred it...Almost...ki....killed me now. So why bother wasting pity on me. Everyone....dies...e...everyday." He said with a deep bitterness, and grunt. As Daquin gripped his weopon and forcefully pulled the trigger on himself. Blew his brains out, as the half side of his head. His head exploded into a nasty pile of flown organ flesh, and went limp.
Vado, however, shot up from what he witnessed.
Suicide...his own friend. And it took him murdering himself to really appreciate him. His jaw dropped and his went wide. The bloody mess in the tree, the whole scene was just revolting.

"If you don't want him to be right....we...gotta go." The hurt Gallade said. Seemingly hostile, his Son grew a fear of him. He thought his Dad killed that Pokemon, or at least he was there to see what happened this time. All those times his Father killed. His Son, looked away, closed his eyes or covered his head.
At the worst time possible, ran away from the two, and saw the Grass type's head get blown off. Thinking his Father did it, it made him disregard all trust. Feeling like the other Fighting type was his only protection. He grew a new trust. Once Vado looked back to see his chick afraid of him. That put a sinking feeling he never thought he would feel. Everything loosened up and he tried to approach his kid.
Kaymin just seemed to moan in fear, ducking his head closer to the wounded Pokemon's leg. As he got closer and reached for him. He felt abandoned...sick with loss. It made him tear up, as he stopped reaching for him.

"H...hey, Son, it's ok now. W....we're fine now, we can go." Trying to plead his Son back. Currently immune to begging. And as the Gallade looked down to the kid, then the Father. He let out a pained sigh.

"You lost your child's trust...that's something too precouis to lose.
I know our...meet is brief. But I'm Kalo. I...I'm A scout in the....the M.I.D.S team, and sniper. It's why...I c...came for your kid. I had...orders, like I said.
Now...if we g-go. We can solve this allllll out. I...just...need your trust." Still huffing a little bit. He'd been attacked, but not shot before. This new pain different. Like something penetrated his soul.
Vado fell to his knees and clenched his fists. In pain...in rage.

"I'll go....I just want him to.........stop seeing all this murder...." Letting his head dropped as he closed his eyes.
Feeling old memories swarm him. Back at the war for Earth.
Everyone going beserk, the killing, stealing, betraying and abandonment. Kids, left in the center, scared and confused. Looking for a Gaurdian to protect and guide them. Some adults with their children, some scattered.
What was this.
Why was there Havoc. And why are the streets so empty, when the world is still well populated with life. All the distrust out there. It's sickening.

All these thoughts overwhelming him, he started to breakdown. Lightly crying, as the distress was too much to handle. Especailly when his love was shot from a misfire. The worst part is, it was no one's fault. And accident that shouldn't of happened.
About a minute or two, his eyes were soaked. And odd sight to see a Fire type crying. Some would think they're souly heat and fire. At least not scientifically proven yet.

"I know this world can get in your head. Y...you gotta push on. Trust me, there is a such thing as a good death...in this...world."

"You- *sniff* still haven't recovered...y-yet?" Seeing how he has been hurt for an abnormal amount of time.

"Bullet wound is different than...a scratch or a bite...you've got a Deagle for crying...out loud. Most powerful hand gun ever. Right...into my foot. That stuff hurt, man." Trying to find something to smile about.

"Just go....help him first, and then take care of this." Vado said, falling to his knees.

"And what about....y-you?" Trying to do his job, and save his life too. Until the Fighting type looked back at the burning trees, then back at Kalo with a firm look.

"Don't worry about me. Just make sure the kid lives."

"R-roger". He said painfully, as he gestured the kid to follow him. Limp running, but he was able to make it back.

-11 hours later-

So that's it....that's the end.
My Son escapes, I lose everything, and I wonder the world without a doubt in my heart that he will come in harm's way. Now I can rest in peace.
Lost my friend, lost my mate. At least I kept my Boy. I know that he'll have a good life there, I hope.
So....where to now?
Well....
Wherever these godforsaken roads take me...
