Rock Bottom

Eddie answers his cell phone while walking down the street. "Good morning, Buster." He said. "Hey, Eddie. How are you?" Buster asked. "Good. How's the show going for you and (Y/n)?" Eddie asked. "Ah, it's going great. And hey, that's a sharp jacket you've got on today." Buster said. "Oh, thanks." Eddie said. "Wait. Aaah!" Eddie stands facing Buster in the same place. Buster is outside an old mansion. "What are you doing here?" Eddie asked. "Eddie, you can't come visit your Nana without bringing her some flowers. Here." Buster yanks some flowers from a pot, and hands the bunch to Eddie, and rings the doorbell. "What? No! Buster, no!

Don't go in there!" Eddie warned. The door opens by a penguin butler. "Yes, can I help...?" The waiter asked. "Buster!" Buster sees the hall before throwing his arms open wide when he sees Nana. "Ah, Nana!" Nana, a fearsome old black sheep dressed like Norma Desmond, walks down a staircase. "Just look at you, dear. Wow! You don't look a day over 90." Buster said. "Oh, my gosh." Eddie said. Buster runs up and offers Nana flowers. She is very confused. Buster speaks loud, as if she is deaf. "Buster Moon. We met at Eddie's graduation."

Nana turns her disgust to the fearful Eddie. "Oh, lucky me. A visit from my useless grandson and his ghastly little theater friend." Nana said. "Look at that-- she remembers me. Okay, Nana... How would you like to be the sponsor for a very prestigious prize?" Buster asked. "Not for that singing contest I saw on the news." Nana said. "That's the one." Buster said. "Oh, I see. You don't have the money, do you?" Nana asked. "Well, we don't quite have it all locked in..." Buster said. "Well, you'll not get a cent out of me." Nana said. "Nana, please, just listen to me for one second, okay?" Buster asked. "No, absolutely not." Nana said. "Don't listen to him, Nana." Eddie said. "I'm not listening to either of you." Nana offers a teacup to Eddie. "Lapsang souchong, no sugar, and be quick about it." Buster gives the flowers to Nana and tries to pursue her. "Uh, Nana, I-I don't know how to make tea." Eddie said. A beautiful room covered with paintings and statues of Nana and a beautiful view of the city is below. Buster looks at an old poster of Nana.

"Wow. I saw this show when I was a kid. Nana, you were absolutely amazing." Buster said. "Please, this flattery is futile. I have no intention of bailing you out." She giggles. "Your pathetic shows are the reason that theater no longer has an audience." Nana said. "Oh, but this show is gonna... Gonna pack 'em in like it did in the good old days." She looks across a lawn to the city. "They were not "good old days," Mr. Moon. They were magnificent. And that theater of yours, it was a palace of wonder and magic." Nana said. "But, Nana, it still is." Buster said. Eddie runs back in with tea. "Yeah, right." Buster kicks Eddie. "Ow!" He yelps. "I can recall the ushers in their velvet suits. Queues a mile long just to get a ticket. The curtain rising over that glorious stage."

Nana said. "Music and light bringing dreams to life?" Buster asked. "Precisely." Nana replied. Buster offers her tea. "Well, it's just like you remember it. In fact, (Y/n) and I made it even more spectacular." He said. "(Y/n)?" Nana asked curiously, raising an eyebrow. "She's... my daughter." Buster said. "Come see for yourself. Uh, a special performance just for you. What do you say, Nana?" Buster said. "I say... You are a liar, Mr. Moon." Nana said. "Okay, well, we're done now. Thank you, Nana." Eddie said. "But anything's better than spending another evening playing checkers with this old fart." She motions to the waiter standing by the door. "What?" The waiter asked. "Great. It's gonna blow you away, Nana. And that is no lie." Buster said.

Time Skip

"Now, listen up. Tomorrow we're going to have a full preview of the show. And our audience will be none other than Miss Nana Noodleman." The cast was not expecting that. The cast responds as if this were great news with gasps and 'wows.' including (Y/n). "You got Nana Noodleman involved?" (Y/n) asked, shocked. "She's still alive?" Mike added. "Oh, yes, and believe me, she's got some pretty high standards. All right? So, today, we're gonna have a full dress rehearsal, and I want to see you light up the stage, folks." Buster said. "Well, that's cool." Gunter said. "(Y/n)? Meena? Miss Crawly?" Buster puts down his blueprint for a new stage design. "What do you think?" He asked. "I don't know...." (Y/n) said. "Wow, it's so ambitious." Miss Crawly said. "Yeah, are you sure about this?" Meena asked. "I promised Nana something spectacular, and this..." Buster chuckles. "Ha! It's gonna blow her away." He said. "Oh, yes." Miss Crawly said. "If you say so." (Y/n) said. "Two minutes, everybody." Johnny's walkie-talkie crackles in his jacket. "Johnny. Johnny, where are you?" Big Daddy asked.

"Johnny, answer the walkie-talkie." Johnny runs in a private corner. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Dad. I'm here. I'm here. What's wrong?" He asked. "We got the call. Shipment's coming in." Big Daddy said. "Tonight?" Johnny asked. "Not tonight. Now." Big Daddy said. "Meet us on the corner of Hector Street in two minutes." Johnny freezes in disbelief. The van screeches to a stop with Johnny at the wheel. The gang come out of the back of the van with masks. They lever a manhole open and jump down one by one. Big Daddy thumps the side of the van, startling Johnny. "Stay here. We'll be back in exactly 37..." Big Daddy said. "Yeah. 37 minutes. Yep. You told me, repeatedly." Big Daddy runs and jumps down the hole. For a moment Johnny twitches.

He looks at his watch. "I can make it." Johnny makes a U-turns and the van drives down the street. Mike is making a new suit and diamond-topped cane. "Bravo, Mike. Nana is gonna love that." Buster said. "Oh, you're... you're too kind, Mr. Moon." Mike said. "And I myself am loving the new suit, sir." Buster said. "Hey where's Ash? She's supposed to go on next." (Y/n) said worriedly. Ash steps out from a dark corner in the sparkly dress. "Oh, stand back. Moody teenager coming through." Mike said, and (Y/n) growled at him. "Good luck, Ash." Meena said. Johnny drives like crazy to the Moon Theater and passes two cars that crash into each other. Buster and Miss Crawly sit talking about blueprints. Call Me Maybe begins but Ash is upset.

ASH: I threw a wish in the well
Don't ask me, I'll never tell
I looked to you as it fell
And now you're in my way

Ash begins to cry.

ASH: Your stare was holdin'
Ripped jeans, skin was showin'
Hot night, wind was blowin'

ASH: (Voice cracking) Where do you think you're going, baby?

Buster and Miss Crawly both look to the stage, confused, as (Y/n) watches with concern. Ash begins to sob through the chorus.

ASH: I just met you
And this is crazy
But here's my number
So call me maybe!

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay, enough of that. Cut it, cut it, cut it, cut it." (Y/n) said. Meena stops the music. "Ash, are you okay?" (Y/n) asked worriedly. She shakes her head, tossing quills into her face before running off stage. "Ow!" (Y/n) yelps. Ash runs backstage crying while Buster picks a quill out of (Y/n). "Ow!" She yelps again, and Buster winces. "Sorry sweetie." Buster said. "Ash, what's wrong?" Rosita asked. Johnny drives quickly and runs a red light and causes cars to swerve out of his way. Rosita and (Y/n) comfort Ash and she blows her nose. "Well, it sounds to me like you are way better off without that... that..." Rosita said. "That total super-jerk dinkleshplatt!" Gunter said. "Exactly. Total super-jerk dinkleshplatt." She said. "I can name another." (Y/n) said. "Rosita! Gunter! You're on!" Buster shouted. Rosita hands Ash her purse. "Yeah, okay, here. There should be some gum or some candy in there somewhere. Just help yourself." She said. "You gonna be okay?" (Y/n) asked Ash, who nods. (Y/n) smiles at her, then follows Rosita out to watch her and Gunter.

Johnny rushes in out of breath. "Rosita, Rosita, Rosita. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Can I take your place, please?" He begged. "Sure, Johnny. Go ahead." But Gunter had already gotten on stage. "Okay, get ready, 'cause I'm warning you..." he laughs. "This stage is about to explode with major piggy power." Gunter said. "I am so sorry. I have no control." Rosita said. Gunter sees Rosita and, laughing, urges her to join. "Yeah!" Gunter laughs. "Okay, come on, you can do this."

ROSITA: I stay out too late
Got nothing in my brain

Rosita trips and falls on her face. Meena stops the music. "Are you okay?" Buster asked. "Oh yes, I'm fine, thank you. How are you?" Gunter asked, and (Y/n) giggles.

"Okay. Johnny, let's get you out here!" (Y/n) said. "And, you guys, you've gotta work on that routine." Buster said. "Take it away, Johnny!" (Y/n) said. Johnny rushes on stage with the piano and plays very fast. Rosita rubs her sore nose.

JOHNNY: What would I do without your smart mouth
Drawing me in and you kicking me out
You got my head spinning...

"You can't just sing it. You got to show the fire und desire." Gunter said. "The fire went out a long time ago." Rosita said. "What?" Gunter asked. "Look, I can't even keep count of the steps." Rosita said. "Ugh! Counting, schmounting! She sings too much with her head. Right?" Gunter asked. Rosita turns to see Meena and Ash awkwardly nod in agreement. Ash blows a bubble and pops it. "Ja, ja, see? Forget the steps and just, like, let the music take control of your body parts." Gunter said.

"My body parts are not responding, okay? It's never gonna happen. I should just be getting groceries." Rosita said, she storms off. "Rosita, no!" Ash called. "Rosita, come on." Meena said. "What? Rosita, please. Like, don't go." Gunter said, as she runs out of the theater. "Psst! Hey! Hey! Down here." Rosita turns to see Mike peeping out from behind the door. "Have you seen three nasty-looking bears out there?" Mike asked. "Uh... no." Rosita said. "Oh, great. Hey, by the way, I loved your act." Mike said. "Seriously, the... the part where you fall flat on your face? Oh, that... That cracks me up, every time. See you around, porky." Mike walks off leaving Rosita speechless. Meanwhile Johnny finishes his song.

JOHNNY: And you give me all of you. Oh

"Ah, man." Johnny said. "Johnny, uh, I know I'm asking a lot of you..." (Y/n) said. "(Y/n), I'm really trying, I promise." Johnny said. "What about your backup song? Have you practiced that?" (Y/n) asked. "Uh, well, not yet." Johnny said. "Well, why don't we go back and work on that one, okay? I mean, look, if you play like that in front of Nana Noodleman..." Buster began.

"Johnny?" (Y/n) asked, her eyes widened. 'Where did he go?' She wondered. Buster looks up to see Johnny was gone. Johnny's van turns a corner and slams on the brakes to avoid hitting a stationary car. "Hey!" He looks out the window and sees he's in a jam. He tries to reverse but a truck blocked his way. A bag of gold rises out of a manhole followed by Big Daddy. "We are set for life now, boys!" He laughs. "What's going on? Where's Johnny?" Big Daddy asked. "He's not here." They suddenly hear sirens. "Run!" The gang runs off. A cop car drives after them. Big Daddy shunts a dumpster into the cop car. But turns a corner to find he is surrounded by other cop cars. Johnny hammers his horn but it's futile. He checks his watch and his head drops with sadness. "Oh! I'm dead." Johnny said. Meanwhile Ash sits alone strumming her guitar. Her floor was littered with torn photos and posters of her and Lance.

ASH: Finally see it's not just a dream
When you set it all free, free

"Okay, let me see here." She said. Ash tries again.

ASH: When you set it all free, all free, all free...

Meanwhile prisoners wearing orange overalls meet with their visitors. "No, mom, I have not made any friends. What do you think this is, kindergarten?" A prisoner said. "If you hadn't squealed to the cops, I wouldn't be in here right now." She replied. "Honey, when are you getting out?" A female deer asked. "I'm only gonna be in here for a few years." The alligator replied. "Well where'd you hide the money?" The deer asked. "You were just at the wrong place at the wrong time..." a cat said. Johnny has come to visit his father. "Where were you?" His father asked. "I'm well, thing is, I-I went to get gas, and, um..." Johnny trailed off. "Don't lie to me!" Big Daddy shouted. Johnny looks him in the eye. "Um, I was at a rehearsal." He said honestly. "Rehearsal? For what?" Big Daddy asked, appalled. "I was at a singing contest."

Big Daddy's anger turns into disgust. "Look, Dad, I'm... I'm sorry. I just don't wanna be in your gang. I want to be a singer." Johnny admitted. "Singer?" Big Daddy repeated. "Well, it... it's not just about the music. There's... there's this girl..." Johnny said nervously. Big Daddy looks at him with disbelief. "Girl?" He asked. "Y- yeah... and... I really like her." Johnny said. Big Daddy didn't look pleased. "Really? You're throwing all this away just for some girl?" He asked angrily. "N- no! It's not like that! Look, Dad, no, it's okay, it's okay. I can get the bail money. There's a prize--it's $100,000..." Johnny said. Big Daddy slams the desk and the whole room is silenced. "How did I end up with a son like you, eh? You're nothing like me. You never were, and you never will be." Big Daddy slams the phone and gets up from his chair. "I'll get you out! Dad, wait! I'll get the money! I promise!" Big Daddy can no longer hear him.

(Y/n) busies herself in Miss Crawly's office and leaves just as Johnny climbs through Buster's window wearing the rabbit mask. He picks up the chest and is about to steal it when he looks down at the desk and sees headshots of the entire cast, including (Y/n). Their smiling faces halt Johnny in his tracks. Johnny frowns once he sees (Y/n)'s picture, feeling guilty and he hesitates. (Y/n) re-enters Miss Crawly's office, not knowing about Johnny, then screams once she sees him. "Aaargh! Johnny! Oh! You... you really scared me." (Y/n) said. "What're you doing here so late?" (Y/n) asked. "Sorry. I didn't mean to. I just... Well, I know it's late, but I could really use some extra piano lessons. Do you know how to play?" Johnny said, and (Y/n) smiles at him.

Johnny and (Y/n) practice the piano together. "You're getting better Johnny." (Y/n) smiles at him, and he blushes slightly again, this time so does (Y/n), and she notices, then looks away and tries to hide it. Meanwhile Rosita is alone in the aisle of a supermarket wearily filling a shopping kart. "Shoppers are reminded the store will close in 15 minutes. Thank you." A Spanish language version of the Gipsy Kings' Bamboleo plays. Rosita doesn't notice her fingers tapping along with the music. Rosita dances, just a little, but gets more into it later. The security guard leans in to get a better look. Rosita dances in one of the aisles. The guard reaches out and turns up the music. Rosita spins along the frozen food section that has icy fog across the floor. She grabs her kart as if it were her partner, runs, and jumps into the air, flying and spinning all the way to the end.

"The lady in aisle six..." Rosita looks around, suddenly embarrassed. "That was awesome." Applause goes through the P.A. system. Rosita realizes the security cameras are watching and is flustered, but bows. In the dark, Meena climbs a ladder to the roof. "Mr. Moon, are you sure this is legal?" She asked. Buster attaches a very large pipe to the water tower valve. "Uh... I don't know. But if you keep asking questions, we'll never get this done. Now, hit it!" Meena turns a huge wheel and Buster's pipe expands as it fills with water from the tower. Jets of water spray everywhere. Buster shrieks, and Meena giggles. Meena pulls on a rope to raise Buster to a large pipe above the stage. Buster flips down his visor and starts welding. "A little higher. Just a little bit. There it is. Thank you." Buster said.

Meena listens to her music as she sucks the glass out of the Moon Theatre windows and stacks it in piles with her trunk. Johnny and (Y/n) are too into practicing to notice Meena taking out the windows. Buster and Meena put a "Squid Wanted" sign in the window of Les Calmars. "Hey!" A waiter shouted. "Posters up!" Buster said. "You!" The waiter shouted. "Now, run away!" The waiter runs after the duo. Come back here, you vandals!" The squids exchange an excited look. Buster and Meena lay the last pieces on stage and step back to admire their work. Meena turns a faucet on and water pours into the newly glass tank. Norman sleepily follows his daily routine. "Rosita, have you seen my car-- Whoa!"

He slips on a toy ball, which goes flying into the gears of Rosita's contraption. "Rosita, what the...? What's going on?" The entire system malfunctions. Norman jumps back but he is covered in milk and cereal. Kids burst into laughter as Norman falls into the kitchen sink. The scrubbing brush hits him in the face. A plunger suctions the top of his head and plops him on the table. "Rosita! Whoa! Kids, where's mommy?" The machine lifts Norman and the piglets in the tablecloth and out of the kitchen.

Johnny finishes practicing at the piano. "Whew. How's that, (Y/n)?" He asked, but the girl had fallen asleep and was snoring peacefully. Johnny shakes his head with a smile. 'She's cute when she's asleep.' He thought, then blushes slightly at the thought. Meena suddenly opens the door and startles (Y/n) awake. "Hey" Meena said. (Y/n) flies off the chair and onto the floor and screams, and Johnny giggles, trying to hold it in. "Sorry. Mr. Moon would like everyone to meet backstage before she arrives." Meena said. Ash's eyes are closed as she finishes singing her song.

ASH: When you set it all free, all free, all free
You set it all free

Ash opens her eyes to find Buster and (Y/n) looking shocked. "Wow. You wrote that?" Buster asked. "Uh... yeah. Do you two like it?" Ash asked, and (Y/n) nods eagerly. "Are you kidding? It's fantastic. You've gotta sing that today!" She said, and Ash lights up. Buster turns to give orders. "Mike, you're on first." Buster said. "Lovely." (Y/n) mutters sarcastically. "Sure. Just a second here..." Mike answers a call. "Honey, I'm busy. What? I can't hear you." Mike said. "Rosita and Gunter, you're on after Mike." (Y/n) said. Rosita arrives late and rushes in carrying the song list. "You got it, (Y/n)." She said. "Rosita! Haha! Super cool! You've, like, totally come back." Gunter said. "Okay, Johnny, you'll follow them..." (Y/n) said.

Johnny looks up from a newspaper; his dad is on front page news. "What? Oh, oh, yeah, yeah, I'm ready. Yeah, yeah, yeah." Johnny said. "Johnny, you okay?" (Y/n) asked with concern, and Johnny looks at her. "Hmm? O- oh yeah, I'm fine..." he said. "Ash, you're..." Buster said. "After Johnny. I got it." She answered. "And (Y/n), Meena, last chance. You want to... you want to join these guys out there today?" Buster asked. "I-I would. I-I just get so scared." Meena said, and (Y/n) nods. "I... I'm sorry, dad. I can't." She said. "Sure you can, sweetie. It's only one person today. I know you can handle that." Buster said. "Yeah, a really famous person." (Y/n) said. "All right, but-but... you know how to get over this, right?" Buster asked. "Uh, No." Meena said. "You just start singing.

Do what you love, then you'll be great 'cause you won't be afraid anymore because you'll actually be doing it, right?" Buster asked. "Uh..." the duo said, glancing at each other nervously and Buster sighs. "Look, I know you love to sing, (Y/n). And you do too, right?" He asked Meena. "Of course I do." She replied. "Then you face this head-on, Meena. Because, like my dad always said, "Don't let fear stop you from doing the thing you love." Buster said. "Uh, heh... Okay, I'll do it." Meena said, and (Y/n) was shocked. "Great. (Y/n)?" Buster looks at her hopefully. (Y/n) stares at Buster and Meena as they waited for her answer, but she sighs and gives in. "Okay... well, if Meena is, I am too." She said, and they smile at her. "That's great!" Buster said. "Mr. Moon! She's here."

Miss Crawly called. Nana's car pulls up. Hobbs opens the door. Nana regards the building. Buster bursts through the doors. "Nana!" He said. Buster opens his arms for a hug, but Nana stops him. "Oh! Do not even think of embracing me." She said. "You got it." Buster said. "Eddie, please show your Nana to the royal box." Buster said. Eddie offers his arm. "Oh, for heaven's sake, I'm perfectly capable of walking." Nana walks in leaving Eddie and Buster. "You nervous?" Eddie asked. "Are you kidding?" Buster laughs. "I'm absolutely terrified." He said. Meanwhile, the three bears have see Mike's car. "Boss. That's his car, isn't it? Right there." The 2nd one said. "Pull over." The leader said. Eddie and Nana take their seats as Miss Crawly offers tea.

"Lapsang souchong, courtesy of Mr. Moo... Moo..." Miss Crawly accidentally sneezes, splashing tea over Nana, and (Y/n) face palms. "Oh no..." she said quietly. "Wonderful." Nana said sarcastically. Mike paces the steps while on his phone. "H-honey, honey, the show is starting, all right? I-I can't talk now. I gotta go. Of course I love you. You think I'd buy you diamond earrings if I didn't... Aaah!" Mike is lifted by the boss. "Where is my money?" The bear demanded. "Okay, okay, listen, listen, I just, uh... I just maybe kind of, uh, spent it all. You know?" The bear opens his mouth and lowers Mike in. "Aahh! No, no, no, please, please, wait! I'll give you the money.

I'll-I'll get you... I'll get you $100,000!" He shouted. The bear raises Mike to listen. "Where are you going to get that kind of money?" The bear asked. "Moon and (Y/n)!" Mike shouted. Okay? They've got my money." Mike said. "Who is this "Moon"? And this (Y/n)?" The bear asked. Meena cues Flashing Lights by Kanye West. Miss Crawly points a spotlight at Buster who descends on the moon. "All creatures great and small, welcome to the Moon Theater. I am your host, Buster Moon, and... Whoa!" The moon slips but Meena quickly stops it. "Okay. Behold! The very first stage lit entirely by..." Hundreds of squid suddenly light up the underwater stage as the beat of Flashing Lights comes in. "Squid power." Buster said.

"Yeah!" It's like liquid fireworks. The squids move and change color in perfect synchronization with the music. A dazzling sight. "Beautiful work, guys. Now just follow me on the beat." Buster dances and the squid trace his steps. "And as you can see, this is no ordinary theater. This is a palace of wonder and magic." Buster said. Eddie laughs. "He's done it! He's really done it, Nana!" He said. "Oh, goodness." She said. "Now welcome our first contestant." The auditorium door slams open revealing the 3 bears. "Whoa." Buster said. "Which ones are Moon and (Y/n)?" The bear leader asked. "Hey, hey, hey, you can't just barge in here." Buster said.

The bear holds up Mike by the throat, and the cast gasped. "You know this guy?" He asked. "Mike?" (Y/n) asked in shock. "Right. Mike here says you got his money and it's in that box." The bear said. "No, no, no, no, no, just hold on a moment here. That's prize money, and it's not Mike's unless he wins it fair and..." Buster argued. The bear squeezes Mike and (Y/n) gasps. "Give him the money!" Mike shouted. "Okay, okay. Hey, hey, hey, hey, take it. The whole chest. It's yours, okay? All right here." (Y/n) said. "Open it." The bear leader said. "Open it? I-I... no." Buster said. "Open it!" Mike shouted. "Okay, no, I-I... I just don't... I don't have the keys, so maybe you can come back later?" (Y/n) asked. "Get out of the way!" The Boss Bear tosses (Y/n) aside and everyone gasps, and the bear raises his baseball bat.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Wait!" (Y/n) shouted. The boss breaks the chest. A cloud of dust comes out. "Hey, hey, there you go. Big guy with a bat. Who needs keys, right? All right, well, let... Let's get this thing squared up now." As the dust settles Mike runs into the debris. "What the...? That's it? That's all there is?" The cast move closer to see... only broken junk. "They lied." Everyone gasps. "Moon and (Y/n) lied to us all." Mike said. Johnny looks over at (Y/n). "(Y/n)...?" He asked, sounding a little betrayed.

"Well, wait a second." Buster said. "We can explain. Okay?" (Y/n) asked desperately. "They're your problem, not me." Mike said. The cast are upset with the duo. "This is just a prop." Buster said. "So, where's the $100,000?" Johnny asked. "You're kidding." Rosita said. "I cannot believe you two lied this whole time!" Johnny shouted angrily. "Johnny... it... it was an accident, we didn't mean..." (Y/n) said, close to tears. "What's the big idea? You two have just wasted everyone's..." Ash began. Eddie suddenly panics. "(Y/n), Buster! Look out!" He shouted. Suddenly the whole glass stage explodes, taking everyone down in a tidal wave filled with multicolored squid.

The wave carries the cast through the stalls. It smashes into the wooden pillars supporting the dress circle, causing them to splinter and buckle. The water valve breaks and water explodes out. The water comes out of the auditorium and rushes down the steps. Meena is traveling backward on the wave when her great bulk plugs the exit doors. The water quickly rises around her. "Aaahh! I'm stuck!" Meena shouted. As the water comes out from the auditorium into the foyer, Eddie leads Nana from the Royal box. He sees Buster clinging to the balcony of the dress circle above him and (Y/n) going back for Meena. "(Y/n)!" Eddie shouted worriedly.

But the balcony starts to collapse. The pillars break, forcing Eddie to lead Nana out to safety. Buster clambers over the collapsing seats. Meena still cannot budge and her trunk is barely above the water. The structural beams and light fixtures drop into the water, fizzing and hissing like snakes. "MEENA!" (Y/n) shouted. Buster runs into his office, grips the windowsill, and reassures the theatre. "Okay, okay, okay, steady, girl. Steady..." Buster said. (Y/n) pushes Meena free. Meena shoots out like a champagne cork on a wave of water and animals. Mike gets washed down the drain into the sewer. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no! Noooooooo!" He shouted. Buster runs out into the street. The cast coughs and sputters as they get to their feet.

"Is everyone okay? (Y/n)?! (Y/n)?!" Buster panics, looking around frantically. He then sees Nana. "Nana!" Nana is disheveled as Eddie helps her into her car. She stops to address Buster but only glares. "I-I-I'm so sorry. I-I just... No, no, no, no, no, don't... Don't go!" Buster said. The car door slams and Nana is driven away. Buster suddenly hears coughing and quickly turns to see (Y/n) on the ground. "(Y/N)!" Buster quickly rushes over. "(Y/n)! (Y/n), are you okay? No, no, no..." He said in panic. "I'm... I'm fine..." she said as she slowly gets up. "Has anybody seen my glass eye?" Miss Crawly asked. "Oh, it's-it's... It's right here Miss Crawly. I've got it." Buster said. A great roar brings the cast rising from the wreckage with horrified expressions.

"Look out!" (Y/n) shouted. They are all in shock. Buster turns to see his theatre had turned into to a pile of rubble. "No." With utter disbelief, Buster stumbles through the wreckage until he finds his father's bucket. The symbolism of the bucket brings Buster to his knees. "Oh, Dad. I'm so sorry." He said. "Dad..." (Y/n) asked softly. "I'm... I'm fine." He said, holding back sobs. "But..." (Y/n) said, and Buster sharply turns around. "I said I'm fine, (Y/n), okay?!" He snapped, glaring at her, and this took everyone by surprise and they gasped. Tears pricked her eyes and Buster realized his mistake. "(Y/n), I..." but she quickly ran off. Buster sighs, and Miss Crawly puts her arm around his shoulders, and Buster cries.

Mike shivers against the sewer wall. "Where is Mike?" Mike can see the bears through the drain hole above. "He must be dead. Come on, let's go!" Rosita, wrapped in a blanket, trudges up to the house, then cries for help get her attention. "Mommy, where are you? Help! Help!" Her family hung out to dry on the washing line. "Oh my gosh. Hold on! Mommy's here!" She shouted. Meena is cradled by her mother and grandmother. Her grandpa drinks a cup of cocoa as they watch TV. "I'm standing at the scene right now, Judy, and I can tell you it is a miracle anyone survived this unbelievable disaster."

A news reporter said. Johnny waits anxiously opposite the only empty cubicle. Big Daddy sits alone and brooding in his cell. Ash walks alone until she recognizes a familiar tune.
