•idk if I want to keep writing this story since this is meant to be the end of it and I think I ended it okay ish? I'm not sure but I might keep writing some extra one shots or something with this story. I enjoyed the plot and everything so it's a possibility.•

(Y/n) POV

The day came that I felt dread in my stomach. I was still sleeping next to Levi which gave me some peace of mind. The light shining in through my window made him look angelic honestly, for humanity's strongest soldier I loved how adorable he looked while he slept.
"Morning (y/n)" he laughed noticing I was staring at him.
"Morning Levi, you know you actually look somewhat harmless when you sleep" I giggled before he grabbed my hands pinning me to the bed.
"Harmless? That's a word I never thought anyone would use to describe me."
He kept smiling as I looked at him. God I didn't want to leave his side.
"Get off me dummy! I need to work today!" I said trying to push him off me. Falling to my side, he relaxed back down and closed his eyes briefly.
"(Y/n)? I know what you're going to say. I don't want you to leave. But I can't stop you if you want to go." I watched as his smile turned back to his cold expression.
"I need to talk with Meliodas about it. I have my mind made up. I'm sorry" I got up leaving my room and a depressed Levi behind.
Knowing I had to leave him was the worst part. But If my plan works out I'm going to hope Meliodas will allow me to make my choice.
"Hey (y/n)! Why do you look so down? I never see you this gloomy in the mornings especially when you're with your new boyfriend" Captain nudged me with a smile plastered on his face.
I looked down at him hoping I could get the correct reaction from him.
"Meli, we need to talk if that's alright. It's about us leaving today."
I tried to sound as normal as I could but the nervousness plaguing my tone wasn't helping.
"Of course (y/n)! If it'll make ya feel better I'm all ears!"

"Does that sound good? I know it'll be hard to do but I'm sure we can make it work Captain."
A smile slightly appearing on my face now.
"I'm sure they'll all be disappointed to hear. No one wants you to leave."
Meliodas was relaxing back on the bar when I saw Ban's face from the kitchen.
He definitely heard everything I had said to the Captain.
"Well I'm sure they can make it work without you they've been doing it for long enough."
Ban said trying not to smile.
I just need to check everything out with Merlin and I should be fine. Merlin always knows what to do and in her workshop I swear you could find anything and everything.
"We should go about our day as normal. It's going to be sad later but we can enjoy the day while it lasts."
I stated walking outside I saw Eren and his group talking and laughing with each other. I hoped they hadn't noticed me yet since I was still a bit nervous to tell anyone.
"(Y/n)! You should meet everyone else!"
It was too late. Eren had noticed me and now I felt bad trying to spring something on him.
"Alright Eren I'd be happy to meet them. Can I have a word with you privately after though?"
Simply he nodded and grabbed my arm dragging me to all the other people around the group.
"This is Reigner, Jean, Krista, Connie, and Bertolt. Im sure you'll all get along super well!"
I looked at each one of them and they all seemed friendly enough.
"H-hi (y/n)" Krista said looking at me.
The rest of them all followed with nice greetings as I waved back.
I watched as the guys got bloody noses again which seemed a bit odd to me but I didn't bother asking.
"Meli allowed me to go and kill titans with you all if you'd allow me to join today" I grinned seeing the others slightly shocked.
"That's great (y/n)! Missions are definitely a lot easier with you."
"Guys she's basically as strong as Captain Levi! I can't wait for you to see her in action. Especially you Jean" Eren continued giving Jean the best death glare he could.
Erwin cleared his throat behind me before raising his hand, seemingly to get everyone's attention.
"Everyone mount your horses! We've got a small mission to stock some new herbs before we head back to Wall Rose! (Y/n) will be joining us. But that does not mean let down your guard. I want everyone ready for battle. Do I make myself clear?"
He finished as a resounding "yes sir" was heard from all the cadets.
I knew Eren was riding the front lines with me and Mikasa so I could get my talk in with him then.

"I see. I'm sure everyone will be devastated but I guess it is for the best."
Eren seemed a little down at my words but it was nice seeing be understood.
I was walking along side his horse when I told him, we were heading back from the mission.
Since it was almost sundown they were going to need to head back to the Wall Rose as soon as we returned.

I watched from the tavern as the campsite was being packed up. The wagons were full of supplies that were to be stocked up for medical use and other purposes.
Hanji always confused me with the weird things she would try and get people to eat for "medical purposes".
I laughed to myself a little feeling my heart break as I felt familiar hands wrap around my waist.
"Your Captain won't let you stay I figure."
I turned my head to see a distraught Levi behind me, I could tell by the look in his eyes he was trying to hold back tears.
"I tried to reason with him but there was no budging on his end. Sometimes my Captain, for as nonsensical as he is he can be a pain to reason with."
I turned slightly sobbing into Levi's arms.
"I'm going to miss you until I can see you again. I promise I'll come back."
I continued as I felt him rub a tear that was about to fall from his eye.
"It's fine. You're better off with the sins."
He said trying to be as monotoned as possible.
I felt terrible seeing his heart break, his voice sounded shaky, and I couldn't help but want to never let him go.
"(Y/n)! We gotta go come on!"
Meliodas yelled from Mama Hawk who was already prepared to leave.
"Captain Levi we need to be heading out as well. The titans are now asleep so we have our chance to make it a safe ride back." I heard Erwin calling.
"I'll see you soon. Please don't cry I promised I'll be back. I never break promises Levi."
I let him go watching his face as the last tears dripped from his eyes.
"Get going brat. I'll see you soon."
Levi said walking away from me.
I jumped back on Mama Hawk as I waved goodbye to everyone in the regime.
"You still have my gift, correct (y/n)?"
Merlin looked at me smiling to herself.
"I do. Thank you Merlin."

Levi's POV

It was a long ride back from the tavern but thankfully there were no abnormal titans on the way back. I was in no mood to fight. I knew Erwin could handle enough of the titans but I didn't want to risk it. I just knew we had to head back home.
I had plenty of paper work anyways that needed to get done.
Everyone had to make a pit stop at the top of the wall though to reload the cannons and for Hanji to make sure the titan guillotine was still in working order while we were gone.

We reached the top of the wall looking out into the distance. It was still possible to see the huge pig the tavern was located on.
Trying to relax and not lose it in front of the cadets I sat down on the edge of the wall.
"Captain Levi! Eren has turned into a titan! We need your help containing him!"

For god sake I didn't want to deal with this fucking brat right now.

I jumped down to Eren who was sitting on the ground seemingly lifeless in his titan body. There was a cloud of smoke surrounding him making it almost impossible to see up close.
I was the only one down on the ground now since everyone else had made their way up the wall to help with supplies.
"Jeager? Get up brat! The hell did you turn into a titan for?!"
I pulled him up from his titan feeling his steamy guts everywhere.
I felt a hand on top of mine as I tried to pull him from his decaying titan corpse. They tackled me before I had any time to react.
"I told him not to touch the side of my wings it's sharper than even my daggers. My apologies, Captain~"
I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
"Y-(y/n)?! What the hell are you doing here?! I thought you left!"
"Well I'm here aren't I? I told you I'd miss you for as long as I was away" she giggled pulling me tighter into a hug.
"What are the sins going to do without you? I thought you said they were like family to you?"
"They are, that's why I asked Merlin for a gift before I left."
She held up a small necklace with a little black stone as the charm.
"If she needs me, this will glow red and I can be with them in about 30 seconds. Merlins teleporting really does do a number on your back though I'll say that." She kept giggling as I pushed her off me to pin her down.
"Don't ever leave again like that brat."
She looked up at me with a glint of hope in her eyes as she wrapped her arms around my neck pulling me down so our lips were nearly touching.
"Awe I really like the strong ones though~"
I felt her run her nails across the back of my neck.
"Let go of me."
I stated feeling a grin spread across my lips, she pulled me into a heated kiss.
"Never again Captain~"
