•I think this has definitely turned into a Levi x Reader story so I'm just gonna roll with that ^~^.
This is a plot chapter but the next one I believe will be a lemon so just be aware🤍 I hope you're all enjoying this story•

(Y/n) POV
I woke up the next morning to see Levi sleeping in my arms. It looked so peaceful seeing him next to me.
I slowly untangled my grasp from his as I got up to go talk with Erwin.
Levi was still sleeping soundly as I walked downstairs to see all the cadets around the tavern enjoying themselves.
"(Y/n)? It's good to see you this morning. If I might ask where is Captain Levi? I can't seem to find him anywhere."
The Corporal asked me tilting his head but smiling as per usual.
"He was sound asleep in my room Corporal. He was taking care of me for the night and I guess the workout from yesterday finally got to him."
I nodded seeing Erwin look at me surprised.
"He almost never sleeps in. I'm very surprised (y/n) he's almost always a stickler about waking up on time if not earlier."
I couldn't help but laugh a little knowing that this cold hard captain had finally taken a few moments to relax.
"We should let him sleep, the man killed more titans than I could count yesterday. He deserves it."
I said thinking back to how Levi never acted tired in front of his cadets.
"You're right (y/n). It is cadet day off today so it should be fine to let him sleep."
Erwin softly patted my head as he walked away.

Flying around to relax I saw the giant walls that surrounded the towns that the cadets had told me about briefly.
I flew down and landed on top of the wall seeing the calm village that laid beneath.
"It's a nice village isn't it (y/n)? This land has been untouched by everything except the titans and these people for centuries. Don't you ever miss the old times?"
I knew that smooth yet somewhat raspy voice.
"Yes Zeldris, I do miss the old times. I miss when we could talk and I didn't think you wanted to kill me."
I said calmly running my hands over one another and tensing slightly.
"You know we can always go back to those times. The commandments and I, miss you."
I felt my hands clench at the thought of going back to them.
It felt good to be powerful due to the commandments but when Meli and I broke awake all those years ago, I had never felt more free.
"You know very well I wouldn't do that love. I simply just want to relax for a few years. Then maybe you can convince me. But for now kindly fuck off. I was enjoying my time alone."
He seemed offended at my statement.
Zeldris never was one for taking insults laying down.
"Please leave her alone brother. She doesn't want to see you."
I heard Meli's voice coming from my other side.
"Who said she didn't want to see me? You'd think she'd miss her fiancé."
"You were never my fiancé. Get that thought out of your head."
I snapped as I flew up and away from the walls.
Both the brothers followed me up and away from the walls.
I could see the tavern from how far we were from the ground.
I found myself still as I watched Meli move behind me.
"(Y/n) you know full well you can beat him to the ground. You wanted to get stronger. Let's see how much stronger you've become."
At this I felt myself relax, dodging the sword that nearly slashed me.
"Nice try, Zeli I almost forgot how much you liked that blade."
He kept trying to stab me as Meli backed up.
"I'm sure you remember you can't beat me! Now fight me (y/n)! I will bring you back to the commandments if it's the last thing I do."
"Goodluck with that Zeli."
I avoided his stab before kicking him down into the earth causing a massive rumble across the grounds.
He got thrown over near the tavern so I knew everyone would be seeing this.
"Oi Princess?! You got this?! I'd be more than happy to kill this bastard."
Ban cracked his knuckles as he yelled up at me.
"I'm fine Ban. Go get Merlin to put a perfect cube around the campsite and the tavern."
Just as I said that a perfect cube appeared around the area.
"I've got a better idea (y/n). You beat him quickly so I can test on you soon as we planned."
I heard Merlin saying from below me.
Just as this happened Zelidris had gotten up rubbing his head.
"I'm bringing you with me."
He launched himself at me as I avoided, I watched Meli go sit down on the cube.
"End him (y/n)."
He said to me from the cube.
I watched as Eren, Levi, Erwin, and the others came out from the tavern.
"Zeli my apologies for cutting this short but I had other matters to attended to today. Let's make this quick."
Zeldris fumed as he drew his sword once again, I slid my daggers from my sleeves.
"Come at me."
With that I flew towards him slicing a decent cut onto his face. He managed to cut a part of my thigh as I did so.
I laughed to myself watching the blood drip down my thigh.
"I'll only slice 2 of your hearts as a parting gift Zeli."
I watched fear enter his eyes as he stared at me. Noticing his moment of fear I flew to him, grabbed him, and threw him to the ground again.
It caused a large cloud of smoke to appear around the area.
This time as the smoke cleared his chest was bleeding with both of my daggers through 2 of his hearts.
I watched as he spit blood onto my dress.
"Now you know how I feel about getting dirty."
My eyes flashed a dark purple.
"I'll take another 3 for my dress."
I said as I pulled the daggers from his already open wounds.
And slowly stabbed them through his other 3 hearts, leaving him with 2.
"Now Zeli, I'm not the little girl you had wrapped around your finger anymore. I said we can talk again later. But since you disturbed my peace I'd be more than happy to end you now."
Pulling my dagger out of his 5th heart I was about to push down again, when I felt a familiar hand touching my shoulder.
Gloxinia.
My best friend when I was running with the commandments.
"(Y/n), save it for another time. He came here out of spite seeing you with another man. I'll make sure to torture him when we get back to Camelot."
With that I got off Zeldris as I felt Gloxinia's hands around my waist.
"I missed you too (y/n) but this isn't the way to get you to come back home, I know that."
I felt myself sob lightly hugging Gloxina back.
"I'll come back when everything is over, I promise."
He looked at me with a glimmer of hope now causing his face to light up.
"I must take him back now, don't be afraid to come talk with me if you need absolutely anything (y/n)."
I watched as Gloxinia picked up Zelidris's body and flew away, seemingly back to Camelot.
The perfect cube surrounding the tavern and campsite lifted as I flew up to Meliodas.
"Impressive (y/n)! You never used to be able to go toe to toe with Zeldris, I'm proud."
I smiled at him knowing he was right, we both went to the ground.
I jumped as I felt arms around me.
"Eren? Is something wrong?"
I looked at him confused.
"You just fought another demon?! You're alive! That's not wrong that's so cool!"
He sobbed into my shoulder as I looked and saw Erwin and Levi staring at me with smiled on their faces.
I turned and hugged him back for a while before he let go of me.
"I'm happy you're safe Eren. I don't know what I would do if I lost any of you or your other cadets."

Once everything has calmed down, Merlin ran her tests on me aka her just giving me a checkup, everything was seemingly fine after she tended to the slash on my thigh.
Everyone was in the bar when I walked up to my room.
I sat down on my bed so I could lie down and take some time for myself.
This didn't last for very long however.
"You know we need you here right?"
I heard Meli say to me leaning against my doorway.
"I know Meli, I wouldn't go back to the commandments even if I want to be around Gloxinia again. We left for a reason, I'm standing by that."
Meli smiled at me and walked down to the tavern again.
"You're alright yes?"
I heard Levi's voice echoing through my room.
"I'm fine, come sit."
He stepped towards me and relaxed once he sat next to me.
"Who was that?"
"My old friend. He always holds a grudges, it's always pissed me off."
"I see, I'm sorry you had to deal with that."
I leaned my head against Levi looking up at him, I kissed his cheek and watched him blush.
"Thank you Levi."
He looked at me and pulled me closer to him, close enough that our lips were almost touching.
"My favorite demon."
He whispered before pulling me into a rough kiss.
