From the depths of the sea with eyes so blue,
Enduring turbulent winds and ignoring the crew.
For you knew the captain, and his intentions were pure,
You loved him like no other and treasured what he had in store.
Through the ups and downs of the crashing waves,
You stood side by side in the captain's embrace.
He had a hook and you had a dagger,
You'd cut the vines and he'd anchor you to the ladder.
With a broken sail, your direction was uncertain,
But unlike everyone else, you weren't a fraction of his burden.
He kept you close until the ship crashed in the bay,
Nursed him back to health and on his chest you laid.
His eyes blinked twice and was graced with your beautiful face,
With a smile so bright, the sun was out of trace.
He kissed you so passionately and looked into your eyes,
That kiss on the forehead made you forget about his cries.
Abandoned on an island, your hope starts to linger,
But at least you're abandoned with the love of your life with a ring on your finger.
