Part Two
"Patrick!!" She yelled, I got out of my bed and ran down the stairs. "Get ready for school fag." I then walked back up the stairs.
I went into her room and began to look for some cloths to wear. Since my room was to small to have to many thing in it; my clothes were contained in her room. "Hurry the hell up Patrick!" She yelled. I grabbed my red cardigan, a black t-shirt, skinny jeans and black convers.
I quickly and hastily put on my clothes. I grabbed my bookbag and I ran out my bedroom door. Then down the steps, and out the apartment.
The bright light blinded me as I ran to my bus stop, luckily it wasn't to far and I wasn't late yet. As I arrived to the bus stop Pete turned around and smiled at me. "Hey, Patrick right?" He asked, I nodded slightly.
"It's my first day! I'm exited!" He was a real cheerful boy, especially for the first day of hell.
He turned and looked at me. "What happened to your face?" He took his thumbs and licked them.
Then began to rub them on my face in the places where I had cuts. "There, your handsome face looks decent enough." He said with a sweet grin.
He reminded me of my father; he was a nice person. I smiled a little wider. "I like your smile." He whispered.
He then turned to look at the in coming bus. I blushed, Pete was the first person in a really long time who was nice to me.
We got on, I sat down in an empty seat and Pete sat next to me. "Hi I'm Pete, I'm new." He said.
He held his hand out to a group of girls that where somewhat in front of us. The girls giggled at Pete. I could tell that they thought he was cute, but he didn't like them; no, I saw it in his eyes. He had something for...me?
Pete had became popular in a matter of seconds. I mean it could be the same for me if I ever spoke but, I'm traumatized and have no intentions on speaking. Pete took me by the hand. "Can you show me around?" He asked.
"I can!" A snobby girl said as she approached us. "No, that's okay. I'd rather have him show me." Pete said with a smug face.
"You do know that this little faggot can't speak, right?" She said, poking my cheek.
Pete swatted at her, "STOP!" He yelled at her.
"What, you protecting your boyfriend?!" She asked.
At this point I wanted my blade, I want to cut my chest open to release the stress. "Yeah, I am actually." He wrapped his arm around me.
"Leave him alone." He yelled at her face.
She huffed and walked away. He then took his arm off from around me. "Alright friend, show me around." I looked up at him, then I looked down before he could see me look at him.
"Are you homophobic?" He asked; I looked at him in shock. I knew I wasn't, because I liked men myself but it was just strange that he would ask that.
I shook my head violently. He looked down at me and smiled. "Good!" He blurted. I showed him to all the rooms and hallways that this school carried. "Thanks babe, I really appreciate what you did for me." He said, I grinned. I wished that I could say something to him.
I then pulled out a piece of paper and pen from my bag. Then began to write "I know I haven't said much but I would love it if you met me in the forest out back after school today, I would like for to be the first to hear me." I handed him the paper as we walked to class together. He read the paper in his head then smiled; "I would love to." He whispered in my ear then bit it lightly. I blushed; I could tell that Pete wasn't a virgin.
An entire day past, having only three classes with Pete. Then lunch and stuff; Pete was popular already, he could have sat with who ever his heart desired...but he sat right next to me at the only table that was always empty, unless I sat in it.
Shortly after it was only Pete and me, a bunch of people sat at our table. It was loud...it was obnoxious...it was scary. When I got up to throw away my food (because I lost my appetite) I passed out for about a minute.
Pete was worried about me; I knew because when I opened my eyes again there were people all around the two of us and Pete looked deep in my eyes. It felt like his eyes were sexually molesting my soul. "Are you okay?!" He asked me; he was worried about me? This was a strange thing to feel, she had never worried about me and now that my father had long past I new he probably never worried about me either.
Pete was different, I could tell.
After school, I waited for Pete by a big tree that was near by our house. The scenery was romantic, the autumn leaves fell around me and a light breeze began to pick up. I saw Pete peer from no where and approach me. We looked face to face, his eyes perfected how the scenery looked. "So you invited me out here, what did you want?" He asked, putting his hands on my cheeks.
I blushed, putting my hands on his. I handed him a piece of paper that read. "Dear Pete, I have been debating whether you should be the first to here me or not. I have finally came to the conclusion that I trust you to be the first to hear what I sounds like." He grinned, stuffing the piece of paper in his pocket. He kissed me lightly, "Whenever you're ready." He whispered. "Okay." I whispered.
It was the first time I had ever heard my voice, it was the first time I felt different. "Wow!" He said..."Patrick?!" Pete yelled. My voice refused to responded then again "PATRICK?!".
I shook the thoughts out of my head, I was back in class sitting at a desk with my school work out. It made me wonder if I even gave Pete the letter. "Hey Patrick, I know you must be tired but I need you to stay awake. There is a test tomorrow and it would kill me if you failed it." Mr. Cage said. Mr. Cage was one of my more caring teachers who cared about my well being at school.
I nodded and began to work.
After school for real, I went to the tree like in my day dream. The scenery was the same as before as well, all I had to do was wait for Pete.
I waited....
and waited....
and, waited.......
and he never showed.
Tears pile up in my eyes until they completely began to fall. I thought I did, I know I did. It was the first thing I did before the school day started, I gave him that note and I was sure of it.
