Mohsin and Shivangi finished their shoot. They were shooting in seperate sets the whole day so they couldn't see each other. Mohsin got a phone call. He didn't have the number saved in his phone, so he was about to ignore it thinking that it was a junk call. It kept ringing, though, so he eventually picked up, slightly irritated.

M - Hello, who is this?

P - Hello, Is this Mohsin Khan?

M - Yes, I am.

P - Hello, this is Tanya McGregor. I am a recruiter for Yash Raj films. I am calling you discussing a future project.

M - Yes, go on.

T - There is an upcoming movie with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. We are looking for a supporting role actor. We want to expand our horizons to TV actors too, and you are one of the people our company has their eyes on. You'd have to follow the audition process and, if selected, you'd be offered a supporting role.

M - What - I mean - wow! Thank you so much! When do I have to be there?

T - The auditions are in Film City in two days. You'll have to perform based on a script I will send you now. Have a good day, see you on Thursday.

M - Thank you, goodbye.

Mohsin hung up the phone and started jumping. 

M -(with tears of joy)  Oh my god, I can't believe it! Me, sharing the big screen with Shah Rukh Khan! My dream might come true! Thank you God! I have to work hard on this role and make my family proud. I will take a day off tomorrow to memorize this script. I cant wait to tell Ammi and Abba. Sajjad and Zeba too, they'll be so happy! 

Mohsin quickly drove home and jumped into his home.

Abba - Kya hua Mohsin? Kyon aisai jump kar ke aaye ho?

Ammi - Haan, kya hua beta?

M - Abbu, ammi, woh....

Mohsin told them the entire story, and they were beyond happy to hear the news. They hugged Mohsin and congratulated him.

M - Congratulations abhi nahi, baad mein. If i get this role. 

Mohsin rushed into the room to call Zeba and Sajjad, who were out with their friends. They were ecstatic and couldn't believe their ears. 

He messaged Rajan Shahi and told him he couldn't be in tomorrow because of personal reasons.  Taking his phone, Mohsin checked the script sent to him, and started memorizing it.

The next morning -

Shivangi reached the sets to find Mohsin not there. He usually got there before her to wish her good morning, but ever since the past few weeks he hadn't done that. Rarely was he romantic, and if he was it was because of jealousy.

She was about to text Mohsin asking him where he was, when Rajan stopped her. 

R - Shivangi, since Mohsin isn't going to be here today, we will have an early packup.

S - What? Mohsin isn't here?

R - He didn't message you? He has some personal issues so he won't be able to make it today.

As Rajan kept talking on and on about the shoot plans, Shivangi's mind kept repeating the same sentence :

Mohsin isn't going to be here today, and he didn't even tell me?
