I let Hanji lead me all the way down to the mess hall, talking my ear off about her theories on titans while asking me questions about my world. As soon as she slams the double doors open, I'm smacked with the loud cacophony of cheers and happy chatter and I grin looking over at the enthusiastic soldiers.

"FOOD!" Hanji runs down to her table with the other squad leaders and I walk down the stairs to the main characters table.

"(Y/n)! Over here!" Armin calls over for me and I sit down in between him and Mikasa.

Jean whistles lowly, beaming at me. "Nice haircut (y/n)."

"OMG! It looks amazing on you!" Sasha squeals out and I chuckle as I feel Mikasa play with it.

"It suits you well (y/n)." Mikasa gives me a soft smile and Connie throws me a thumbs up.

"Who cut it for you anyway? I didn't think anyone knew to style hair like that." Connie asks.

"Ah! I actually asked Levi since he knows how to cut his own hair." I grin, looking at the shell shocked expression of the cadets around me.

"Captain knows how to cut hair!?" Armin gasps out at the new piece of information.

"No wonder he's good at using anything blade related." Eren sweat drops and I chuckle.

"It was actually very relaxing when he cut it." I sigh out and Armin smirks at me.

"Does someone here have a thing for the captain?" I glare at the coconut head.

"Mr. flower boi. Don't test me. And no." Everyone bursts out in laughter.

"I didn't think you would bring his nickname back!" Eren gasps out and I coo at Armin.

"I'm not making fun of you. You're my precious baby." I ruffle Armins hair and he swats my hand away.

"Stoppp!" I let the cadets around me burst into chatter and I watch in amusement at how lively everyone was. It made me really happy to see the place full of soldiers, more than in the anime since a lot of them were saved. Everything around me suddenly turns into silence and I look down at the table to realise that dinner was served.

"What? No way... Is that... It is! It's meat!" Connie gasps out and I know everyone was shocked to see the rare luxury food.

"Am I dreaming!?" Sasha holds her head like it exploded, which in this case, it metaphorically did.

"Here's to the reclaiming of Wall Maria! A toast-!" as soon as the squad leader gave his speech, everyone dived in like it was their last meal on earth. I shrieked and backed away from the chaos as Mikasa calmly held me.

"Absolute savages. Fuck." I mutter out, almost worried that the soldiers were going to turn into titans at this very moment.

"What the hell do you think you're doing potato girl!? No way are we going to let you pull this shit!" Jean yells out as Connie holds Sasha back, all three of them fighting over the meat.

"Drop the meat Sasha! Come on! I don't really have to kill you!"

Holy, is Connie crying!?

"You can't eat the whole thing alone you pig! (Y/n) needs it more than you! I mean look at her!"

"Hey!" I glare at Jean for his remark but he just ignores me and struggles to knock out Sasha.

Jean finally manages to snatch the meat from Sasha's mouth but she lurches forward and clamps her teeth down on his hand instead. "YOU'RE EATING ME!? MY HAND MY HAND!" Jean scream out bloody murder and I chuckle at his girlish screams.

"LET GO OF JEAN! WE DON'T EAT OUR FRIENDS OK!" Connie begs but it's like Sasha has gone full-blown zombie. Mikasa managed to swipe some meat and passes me some but she doesn't stop there. She practically piles my plate.

"Uh Mikasa, that's too much-"

"-you need to eat." She cuts me off and I give her a pointed look, sharing the meat on everyone's plates equally. "(Y/n)..." Mikasa glares at me and I just grin at her.

"Everyone needs to have some. Including you." Mikasa sighs and smiles at me as everyone finally calms down enough to eat. Except that Eren and Connie ties up a passed out Sasha to a pole. I sigh out and get up with my plate and walk up to Sasha as soon as she wakes up.

"ARE YOU MY ANGEL!?" Sasha starts bawling out as I pull the cloth from her mouth and let her eat a slice.

"THAT'S A NICE MANE YOU'RE GROWING THERE HORSE FACE!"

Oh, you've got to be kidding me.

Can't we just have some peace and quiet?

I grumble as I stand back up, seeing Jean and Eren back at it again with the fighting. They both give each other blows to the gut and I decide to step in.

"Absolute kids. I swear to fuck." I groan out, smacking both boys on the back of their heads hard before harshly grabbing each ear.

"Ow!"

"(Y/n) it hurts!"

"Please! I'm sorry!"

"Don't tug don't tug!"

"We'll behave we'll behave!" Both boys wail out like kids as I pull them towards the table, forcing them to sit down.

"Good." Eren and Jean pout as they rub their red ears while everyone else bites their lip to hold back their laughter.

"I didn't think there was anyone who can get those two to stop but man was I wrong!" Connie laughs out and the others all soon join in, chatting happily once again while spending the night together. I look over to Hanji's table to see Levi looking at our table and I lift my brows, nodding to him in a way that was asking him what's wrong.

He shakes his head and walks over to us. "Ok, enough celebrating. Go to bed. And clean all this up." Everyone yells out yes sir and I get up to pass Levi, following Armin carrying a hurt Eren.

"Night Levi." I finger salute him and he sighs at me before nodding and walking away. I follow the three childhood friends down the street, looking up at the stars while they talked. Armin sat Eren down on some steps and I follow suit, sitting down as well. "The stars are beautiful. I've never seen them this bright before." I mumble out.

"Wait, you don't have stars back in your world!?" Armin gasps out and I shake my head.

"We do but living in the city, there's a lot of pollution that prevents me to see a clear sky like this. It's almost impossible."

"Well, I'm glad you get to see them (y/n)." Mikasa nods and the three go back to talking about the future, their dreams and of the world beyond the walls.

"There's more out there though. The sea, remember? A body of water so big, merchants could spend their whole lives and still not get all the salt out." Armin smiles, dreaming of the ocean with his own eyes. "There's so much beyond the walls. Not just titans."

"Water that glows like fire, fields of ice, rocks that take ages to climb!" I recite the words with Armin and the others chuckle.

"Armins right about that. Watching the sun set over the horizon of a clear ocean is almost like gold spilling over the water. It's absolutely beautiful." I grin out and the others look at me in surprise.

"You've seen the ocean!? So it's true!?" Eren gasps out.

"Of course it is. We live on a globe that consists of land and sea. Where do you think all the rain goes? It gets soaked up by the ground but if there's too much of it, it becomes lakes, rivers or even oceans."

"You see! That's why I joined the scouts! To see all these someday!"

"You'll love the beaches. Everyone becomes a child when they play in the sand." I chuckle as Mikasa and Eren start getting pumped up with excitement.

"Well, that's it then!" Armin stands up, full of enthusiasm. "Let's start by finding the sea!" The kids all get up and run off, eager to get to sleep early and wake up to beat some titan ass.

I sit silently, finally in some peace. "You can come out now Levi. They're gone." I yawn out and I hear shuffling behind me along with some footsteps before a body sits down on the stairs next to me.

"So you knew." Levi takes a swing of whatever he was drinking and I nod, my attention back up on the night sky. I turn to see Levi looking up at the stars as well and I smile, knowing his love for them. "So it's real, everything that Arlert brat was spouting about." I nod.

"Yeah. I've been to the ocean and sand dunes but not to Antarctica. It's too cold for me. I wish I had my phone so I could show you." I hear Levi hum out before taking something out from his pocket.

"You mean this little shit?" I sigh and take my phone from his hands.

"Thanks, Levi but there's no use. There's no charge-huh?" I gasp in confusion as my phone turns on, about 50% battery left. "It's been months. This should be dead by now."

"Go ask Shitty glasses. She did something when she found it at the abandoned house where you left it."

"Damn, I gotta thank her cause now I can show you!" I grin and show Levi pictures of me and my family on our road trips. I pass the phone to Levi, watching with a warm smile as I saw his lips twitch up at the corner of his lips. He was smiling, flicking through my album.

Fine by me, I don't have anything to hide.

My phone is dry as fuck-NOPE! MY PHOTOS OF SEXY LEVI!

"Whats this-" I quickly snatch my phone from Levi's hands and turn it off.

"Beautiful night huh!?"

Why did I say that!? I'm such a dumb idiot!

"Come with me." Levi stands up and I look at him in confusion before scrambling up on my feet and running after him as he walks up a random flight of stairs. He leads me to the rooftop of a house and I gasp, seeing the stars so much closer to me.

I reach a hand out, trying to grasp the sky. "They're so much closer." I marvel at the twinkling stars.

"You like them almost as much as I do. Maybe more." Levi raises a brow at me and I grin back. We sit down on the edge in silence, our feet dangling off the edge as he laid down on the roof to watch the stars. I turn over to look at Levi, looking almost carefree and without the burden of this world.

I want that for him so bad. To see him just live and not survive to live.

He would really love the Aurora Borealis.

I close my eyes, leaning my head on Levi's shoulder as sleep claws over me.

Maybe I should give Levi a present.

I wonder if Historia has any talented artists on hand...
