I huff out as I lift all the scouts I rescued in my hands up towards the walls before I drop to the floor on my knees.

"OH MY SWEET PEA!" Hanji flies straight towards my face and clings onto my nose, crying dramatically. 'YOU DID AN AMAZING JOB TODAY!" I nod slowly, exhaustion creeping over me. "SHORTY! YOUR WIFE NEEDS YOU!" I lift my head up to see Levi fly down towards me with tired eyes. I huff out at him, chuckling at the annoyed look on his face as his hair fluffs back. Hanji moves to sit on my head, petting it gently as Levi hangs in front of me.

"You dumb brat." Levi huffs out and I nudge him with my nose while whining out softly, too tired to say anything. Levi blinks at me in surprise and I bow my head. I see him lean down to look at me, his expression softening. "Let's get you out now."

"Ok." I nod and bow my head, closing my eyes to see the darkness.

"Come on brat." I open my eyes again weakly to see Levi in front of me as my titan formed steamed beneath me.

"Levi... tired..."

"I know brat." Levi pulls me out and picks me up, zipping up to the wall and down to a random house.

"Erwin?" I mumble out as Levi walks through the house towards a random bedroom and sets me down on the bed.

"Missing an arm but he's alive. Thanks to you." I shake my head and close my eyes.

"He was going to be alive... I didn't need to do anything." I open my eyes when I feel weight press down on the bed next to my feet.

"That day, with the female titan..." Levi asks and I look up at him as his brows were furrowed. "My squad..."

"They were meant to die yes." I nod. "But so were many other scouts but I didn't want them to die."

"So you just save everyone." I shrug.

"I want to."

"Even if you put yourself in danger?" Levi raises a brow at me and I purse my lips.

"I'm using my knowledge selfishly. I know I'm not going to die if I remember what's going to happen."

"Even so, you put yourself through shit with the titans. You get wounds on your body." Levi looks down and I see my pants were torn to reveal the bite marks and I hide them under the blankets.

"I don't care..."

"You should!" I blink in surprise as Levi raises his voice but clears his throat, looking away. "You should. We can't have you recklessly giving your life away." I grin softly, leaning down on the bed to rest as I look up at the supposed emotional man who was a huge softy on the inside.

"Sounds like Mr. Shorty cares about me." Levi looks at me and frowns.

"You're useful to the scouts. We can't have you die on us." I nod weakly.

"Sure."

"No comeback huh, you must really be tired. You did use your power twice."

"Yeah. I managed to not blackout this time. I just wonder why my titan is called Guardian titan and why I can control other titans."

"What do you mean? You don't know?" I shake my head, sighing out.

"Surprisingly, my titan doesn't actually exist in the show at all, so why now-" I freeze when I hear knocking on the door and I look up to see Erwin, Pixis, Hanji and Connie.

I hiss out as I struggle to sit up and Levi helps me. "No need (y/n). You must be extremely exhausted." Erwin smiles at me and I nod, Levi laying me back down on the pillows.

"How are you doing eyebrows?" I snicker seeing Erwin's brows raise up at the nickname and I see everyone in the room besides Levi try to hold back their laughter.

"Well and alive thanks to you." I wave him off.

"Hi Pixis. Hey Connie."

"I still can't get over the young lady. She really speaks as if she's from another world, not caring about titles."

"You're right about that." I grin and Hanji hops over to hug me while petting my head. "So I'm guessing you're here to ask me if the titans from the south were actually people from Connie's village correct?" Erwin nods and I sigh out.

"H-How did you know!?" Connie exclaims and I pinch my nose.

"Can I tell everyone? It will be so much easier." Levi shakes his head and I groan out, explaining that I was from a different universe to Connie. "And to answer your question, yes. Those titans were the humans from Connie's village."

"N-no..." I look up to see Connie about to cry and I frown.

"I'm so sorry about your mum Connie. I-" he quickly leaves the room and I hear Levi sigh out.

"Great. Perfect. I spent all this time, all this energy... The things that were coming through those walls, were people." Levi mutters out.

"Titans are-were, humans?" Hanji mumbles out and I see Erwin with a dazed excited expression.

Creepy.

"Now what?" I hear Levi gasp and I grin seeing an iconic scene unfold in front of me. "Excuse me? What's with that smile?" Levi gapes at Erwin who quickly loses that smile.

"Oh, it's nothing. Just, seems to me that we have taken one step closer to the truth." Hanji, Erwin and Pixis leaves me and Levi and I get up to look at his face.

"That expression is 100 times funnier in person than through a screen." I giggle and Levi looks up at me, his face going back to being emotionless. "Awe, come on Levi. Show me more. Not even a smile?" Levi rolls his eyes and a wave of fatigue hits me. "Fuck-"

"-stupid brat." Levi quickly grabs me as my feet gives out underneath me, setting me down on the bed again. "You need to rest now. You've barely recovered from the castle fight and now your body needs to heal." Levi pulls the blanket over me and I nestle into the pillows.

"Do you have any more questions for me?" Levi freezes as he heads over towards the door.

"Not now. Just sleep." I nod and I let myself drift off to sleep. "You did a good job today kid..."

"Look how cute my precious baby is sleeping! All bundled up warm!"

"Oi shitty glasses, shut the fuck up you're going to wake her."

"Nah! She's a heavy sleeper! Well sometimes."

"Hanji, do you watch her sleep!?"

"That's creepy captain." I sigh out, eye twitching from the group of baboons being all loud and not letting me sleep! I shift on the bed and I hear Hanji squeal out, looming over me before I snap my eyes open.

She shrieks in fright and jumps back as I glare at her. "Don't watch me sleep. That's fucking creepy." I murmur out tiredly, rubbing my eyes.

"She heard that!?" I ignore Hanji and look over at the doorway to see multiple scouts. There were a lot of extras, most of the 104th cadets and also Levi's squad.

"Uh hi? Are we having a meeting in here or what?" I hear Levi tch and I look over at him.

"These brats are here to say thanks for saving them." And that's when the chorus of thanks fly through the air with appreciative sobs. I try to calm them down saying it was no problem but most of them just cried out.

"Ok that's enough. We have to let her rest." All the extras leave except Levi's squad and most of the 104th cadets.

"You really saves our asses out there. Again." Jean chuckles as Armin agrees.

"I don't know what would've happened out there if you weren't here (y/n)!" Sasha sobs and I just smile at her.

"You guys are a lot stronger than you think. Even if I'm not here, y'all would actually still be alive." I look over at Eren as he stared at the ground with a frown.

"You got captured because of me." He mumbles out and I sigh.

"Eren, I got captured cause I was making sure this one didn't get caught in the crossfire." I point to Levi and he narrows his brows at me. "It's not your fault. Plus if I weren't there already, I would've been. You know I run fast." Eren chuckles softly, nodding.

"Thank you (y/n)." Mikasa smiles at me and I grin back at her knowing her words meant more than you could describe.

"Ok that's enough. Go saddle up. We need to head back to headquarters." Hanji exclaims and they all leave as Levi follows them after them with Hanji.

"Levi, uh, told us we would be dead if it weren't for you..." Petra mumbles out.

This again?

"That ass didn't have to go say that jeez." I sigh out and the squad looks at me in shock when Oluo bursts into laughter.

"I like her, she has guts."

"Anyway, we wanted to say thanks. We never got the chance to." Gunther says and I smile. Everyone leaves but Petra stays behind. She looked uncertain as she sat on the edge of the bed.

"You really care about Captain Levi huh?" Petra frowns, playing with the blanket and I sigh out, knowing that she was trying to find out if I had feelings for him.

Which I do but I'm not going to tell anyone.

"Of course I do." Petra grinds her jaw and I roll my eyes. "But I care about the others too. Including you." she quickly looks up at me with wide eyes and I smile at her. "I care about everyone here too much to let them die. This is a cruel world and I want you all to find a happy ending." I gasp when Petra jumps on me, giving me a tight hug.

"You really are our guardian (y/n)."
