The Prince

"Introducing, Prince Damien."

(Y/N)

The tall young man who opened the door, smiled at me, his curly brown hair shinning in the early afternoon sunlight,

A tall young man with curly brown hair opened the door and smiled at me, "You must be Princess Y/N." I nodded and curtsied as the man bowed, "My name is Tyler, I am the master of the house. If you need anything, you can always come to me."

"Thank you, Sir Tyler." I smiled up at him as he moved so I could walk into the castle.

"Oh no need for 'Sir', Princess." He said, as he motioned for other servants to take my bags from Phillip, my carriage driver.

"Then no need for 'Princess', Tyler." I said, looking up at him. He smiled down at me and extended his arm for me to take, which I did.

"The other Princesses have already arrived, they are awaiting for Prince Damien to come in." He said, leading me to a larger room. I nodded, and got slightly nervous, the thought of this all being a competition suddenly hitting me. Tyler looked down at me, "Are you alright Prin- (Y/n)?" I chuckled at his slight slip up,

"Yes, just the fact that all the girls I am about to meet are all fighting to be with Prince Damien is a little unsettling." I sighed. Tyler nodded,

"Ah I see... Well if I may say so myself, everyone is just as nervous as you. You mask your nervousness the most." I smiled at his words,

"That makes me feel a little better, thank you Tyler." I said as we stopped right outside a door. He took my hand and kissed the back of it. I blushed softly and curtsied,

"You're welcome." He smiled, before opening the door to what looked like the ballroom. I stepped inside and gasped in awe of how large the room was. "I will go see that your bags are put into your room. If you need anything else, you can ask one of the many servants to fetch me." He bowed before leaving the room. I smiled, before turning around to see the other girls in a semi circle around me.

"Hello..." I said with a small voice, clearing my throat. None of the girls said anything, but I could tell that they were all judging me. "My name is (Y/N Mi/N L/N), Princess of (Y/HT)." I curtsied, avoiding eye contact. One of the girls stepped forward. She had long red straight hair, and was as tall as me. She looked me up and down, before returning my curtsy.

"Harley Thalia Markov, Princess of  Irvine." She said, as she smiled softly, clearly fake. I smiled back at her,

"Pleasure to meet you." I said as another girl stepped forward and introduced herself. One by one, the girls introduced themselves, 8 in total, including Harley. You could cut the tension in the room with a knife. I could tell that all of these girls were so fake. This wouldn't be fun.

The girls started to talk to one another when I noticed another small group of girls that hadn't come over. I slowly walked over to them, there were 6 in total. I tapped one of their shoulders and introduced myself once again, "(Y/N Mi/N L/N), Princess of (Y/HT)." I curtsied, as all of the girls stood up. One of the girls smiled as our eyes met. She has short pink wavy hair, brown eyes and was slightly shorter than me. She curtsied,

"Amy Nelson, Princess of Cincinnati." She said, her smile sincere. The other girls started introducing themselves; There was Kathryn, Signe, Marzia, Jessie and Eva. They all were genuinely nice, and not fake like the other girls.

We began talking about ourselves, going around telling each other about our long journeys to L.A. when we all heard Tyler clear this throat,

"Ladies, may I have your attention?" He spoke loudly, everyone turn to look in his direction. He was at the top of a grand staircase, to the side of two large mahogany doors. Four men stood behind him, two ready to open the double doors, and two with long bugle horns, the L.A. flag draped over them. Tyler snapped his fingers and the servants opened the doors, "Introducing..."

A tall young man started to walk into the room has the horns played a magnificent fanfare. He had a polite smile on his face as his eyes scanned the room. His eyes soon met mine, and they seemed to sparkle, as his smiled turned into a slight smirk. I blushed and looked to Tyler as he said,

"Prince Damien."
