Addy's P.O.V

"Aight listen, get in and get out. Make the time count no bullshit. Shoot if necessary, eyes up at all times." I yelled to the crew.

"Meet back here tomorrow morning no sooner! Cops will be all over. Go to your designated hideouts and lay low till morning. If shit gets hot, hit me or AD up and make sure you toss the phone." Pierre announced.

"Me and Pierre broke it down into two groups, Group A and Group B. Group A will go up this section here and Group B will enter at the basement here. Meeting point here. Make the meet up quick and get outta there." I marked the map.

"Both groups will have designated drivers waiting on opposite ends. Get there quick and fast." Pierre stared every single one of us down.

"Devenchi your group B with Rome, Hazel, and Me. Cortez your with Group A, That's you, The twins and C. Joie you'll stay back with Pierre and hack those systems keep us on our toes in route." Everyone nodded their head in understanding besides C.

"Why are we in different groups shordy, you know we don't get down like that." He shook his head.

"Just go with it C and if anything happens it's on me." I responded and he nodded.

"Y'all ready or the soap opera still on?" Pierre asked.

"Let's go." I said.

"Move out!" Pierre yelled and everybody got to moving. "If shit gets bad stick to your designated buddy system. Stay with someone at all times." Pierre announced sitting in his chair next to Joie as they started up the computers.

I got into the truck with a huff blowing some hair out my face.

"You gon be good without your pit bull." Rome whispered to me.

"Hush." I glared at him and he laughed.

His teeth was so perfect they glistened when he smiled. He had a nice smile. He put his head down then looked up at me and smiled. I gave him a weird look as to why he was looking at me like that.

"So you think I got a nice smile." He smirked and before I could respond devenchi hopped in the driver's seat along with Hazel getting in the passenger.

"Aight y'all boys let's go get this money." He said hyped.

"Can y'all hear me ok." Joie came in over the radio.

"Yeeeerrrr!" Devenchi and Rome called out.

"Thanks guys, out." Joie announced.

The rest of the ride was quite. I stared out the window trying to get my mind right for the job. Reciting all plays, thinking of all ins and outs, all that could go wrong and all that could go right. Thinking of backup plans just if something don't go as planned or something backfires. This is my thought process before every job I do. I text my brother I love him every time just so I can't say I didn't get to say bye. He the only family I got and if I go down it's with people I trusted around me. I continue to connect my thoughts as the ride continued.

"Hey, you ok?" Rome asked gently touching my leg.

Then it happened again, the shock from his touch. It caught me of guard making me jump. I look at him and he looked at me.

"Yeah I'm good." I said removing his hand.

"Aight look y'all I'ma head to my spot and y'all go in and do what you gotta do." Devenchi announced.

"Ok guys the basement is down below." Joie commented

"No dip." Devenchi commented.

"If you'd let me finish you'd know that the only way to it's entrance is through a sewer. Hope you got your swimming gear." She announced.

"This shall be fun." Rome said exiting the car.

"Suit up." I called out.

~ 15 minutes later~

"What the hell is this stuff." Hazel complained as we stomped through the sewer.

"Waste." Rome commented shifting his flashlight.

"So you're telling me I'm maneuvering through someone's shit?" Hazel exaggerated.

"That and piss." Rome explained going for the door. Hazel then started to gag making Rome chuckle.

"Haze come on." I said trying to get her back focused.

"How much time we got?" Rome asked.

"A little under an hour." Joie answered.

"Aight I'm gonna need about 5 minutes to even melt the door to get in. Tell Group A it's gonna be a slight delay. Eyes up until we can get there." Rome answered back to Joie.

"Wait slight delay?" I asked.

"Yeahhh, we can't just go straight in until the door is down so Group A gonna have to hold tight and stand their ground." He explained to me. Damn I knew this would get bad.

"We good ma, just breathe." He said not turning to me but continuing with the door.

I backed up and started to talk to haze, but she only gave me a look.

"What?" I decided to ask.

"What's going on with you and ol boy?" She asked with a smirk.

"Ol boy?"

"Yeah ol boy." She pointed to Rome.

"Rome." I said confused

"Uh yeah, he's fine fine not gon lie."

"Girl I don't want that man, this all business." I exclaimed.

"Mhmm." She said not convinced.

"Bingo." Rome said out loud. "Open sesame." He said opening the door.

"Good work Rome. Now the bars should be in single individual boxes. Grab as many as possible In the allotted time then get out there. 30 minutes till the first rendezvous point, OUT!" Joie announced.

We unsuited from the sewer gear and immediately started looking for the boxes.

"Man that shit stanks." Hazel said stepping over the wetsuits to look in a corner.

Rome then took off his backpack handing us our weapons and putting the wetsuits in the backpack.

"You good toting that?" I asked and he just gave me the really look. I put my hands up In surrender going back to look for the bars.

"It's a lot of boxes but I don't see shit." Hazel said opening a box and dropping it.

"Keep looking we don't have much time." Rome reminded her.

I started to wonder off and think. How can the bars ping here, but not be here? Unless.....

"What you doing?" Rome asked me.

"Shhh." I continued to feel against the walls , I then felt a dent in one particular spot.

I went along the dented parts where it could feel like it could be pushed in. They didn't say anything just Rome looked on clicking his teeth as Hazel kept looking. Once I felt all around I realized it was In the shape of a door. I leaned my body against it and realized I could go through but only with force.

"I don't see shit." Hazel exclaimed.

"It's not in here." I said backing up from the door In running distance.

"AD..."

Before she could finish her sentence I started running towards the wall. I jumped up stiffing my body and pushed my feet through. The wall came down along with me and dust was all over me. I coughed a couple times due to the dust and my breath being knocked out of me. Once I look up I see red velvet boxes half opened revealing the bars.

"Oh shit." Rome commented walking in helping me up.

"You good ma?" He asked staring at the bars.

"Yeah." I responded dusting myself off.

"What the hell was that?" Joie asked.

"We're in." Rome answered back.

"20 minutes left, make it count!" Joie responded.

"Biitchh." Hazel exclaimed walking in happy.

"We lit!" I said getting excited with her.

"Mind you this shit gon be heavy so I hope y'all brought your running boots." Rome commented taking some of the gold and stacking it in his bag.

We took the bars out of the cases and distributed them evenly amongst bags so it won't be as heavy per person. Group A would each be getting a bag, so we broke it down.

"Damn this shit heavier than I thought." Hazel struggled putting on her bag.

"You got this." Rome tapped her shoulder laughing at her tilt as he headed towards the door with his regular bag and two bags of bars.

I put on my backpacks, one in the front one in the back. Not gon lie this shit heavy. I grab my gun and get ready for what's next. Rome looked at us to make sure we was good and we nodded.

"Initiating hacking sequence!" Joie announced.

We heard some beeping and computer noises. Before you know we heard a suction release noise signaling the door was open. We looked at each other and walk through. I swear the more we moved the heavier the bags became.

"Where we headed Joie?" I asked.

"There should be some stairs to your left going up to the main floor." She navigated.

"Oh my damn." Hazel moaned going up the stairs with the bags.

"Shhhh y'all hear that." Rome said pausing on his last step and I was already pushing the door open.

"Hear what." I then heard hella footsteps  and yelling, Rome rushed through the door knocking me to the floor.

"It's an ambush GET DOWN!" He yelled as a grenade went off following more yelling.

Rome pulled out his two pistols from his vest and no cap that shit looked like a movie scene. He pointed in both directions guarding me and Hazel. Somebody came around the corner and he shot em in the head and the next person chest then head.

"Stay here." I nodded as he moved forward.

Someone came out knocking the gun out his hand and he grabbed around their head pushing it into the wall. Another guy came trying to hit him making him duck before he hit him in his neck then the back of his knee then twisted his neck making me wince. Picking his pistol back up he shot at something this way and before I knew it a body fell right next to me.

"Come on." He reached his hand out for me to get up.

Whew this just got that much more interesting
Lol sorry y'all I know I promised an update every week but I got sidetracked for real for real. Life's been hectic but here ya go.
