Chapter 32

Shawn

The walk back to the elevator was a lonely one as I began to realize that I may have over reacted just a little bit. I could still hear the girls having a great time just down the hall and I wanted to go back and join them but it was too late. My pride wouldn't allow me to walk back into that room.

I leaned back against the wall and waited for the elevator to reach me. Gil peeked around the corner and shook his head.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm not in the mood Gil." I said putting my hand up.

"Shawn why are you playing these games? Just tell her how you feel and end things with Amelia before it's too late." He said.

I glanced at him. "Don't come out here trying to give me advice on what to do, when all you do ride the fence." I said. "One minute your on my side and the next, you're siding with Janet."

He looked offended and held his hand to his chest. "Are you serious? I have been nothing but supportive of you two from the very beginning of all of this, but y'all bitches keep fucking it up." He said loudly.

"Whatever man." I said, looked away and pressed the elevator buttons a few more times and then hit the wall in frustration and it finally opened. A guy stepped out, looked at us and smiled.

"Sup, I'm looking for the party." He said.

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"Oh yes, right this way." Gil said, pointing him down the hall.

"Thank you." He said and smiled as he headed for Janet's room. Gil about broke his neck trying to watch him walk down the hallway.

"Teresa thought it would be fun to have a dancer tonight. You coming?" Gil said as he continued watched the young man until he disappear into the room. The girls could already be heard as they started getting rowdy. "Please stay Shawn. You know this is not Janet's thing anyway. You two can talk while we enjoy the festivities." He said and smiled.

"I'm gonna pass man. Sorry for kinda being a bitch tonight. I hope you guys have fun." I said and stepped on the elevator.

I opened my eyes and blinked a few times. Sitting up, I grabbed my aching head and picked up my phone. Amelia had called and text me. I looked over at the finished bottle of wine.

"Fuck." I said, not realizing I'd finished it off. I was up a couple of hours before I needed to be and the sun still hadn't come up yet. I went ahead and got cleaned up and threw on some sweats. I needed to talk to Janet before we headed to the stadium today. I needed to apologize and tell her the truth.

As I got out of the elevator on her floor, I heard voices coming from around the corner. I peeked to see Janet and the man from last night. He was leaning against the door smiling at her. She stood there in nothing but a sheet wrapped around her.

"Can I see you again?" I heard him say.

Janet touched his face and smiled. "Let's not turn this into something complicated. Okay?" She said. "We were just having some fun."

He smiled. "I understand. Well thank you for a fun night." He said and smiled." She kissed his cheek and he headed in my direction. I looked around, but there was no where to go.

He glanced at me as he turned the corner. I smiled nervously. "Morning." I said. It was the first thing that came to mind. He smiled and then look back down the hall. Janet was jogging towards him. She looked over at me and then back him.

"You forgot this." She said, handing him his wallet. "I called a cab for you. It should be here soon." She smiled. "I really did have fun." She said and went back to her room.

I just looked at him. He had the dumbest grin on his face. "I gave her my number. Do you think she'll call?" He asked

"Don't hold your breath." I said.

He turned his nose up at me and got into the elevator. I was livid as I made my way to Janet's door. I raised my hand to knock and then stopped. I just looked at the door a moment and walked away.

Janet

Last night definitely didn't go as planned but after a few small glasses of wine and all the pent up frustration I was feeling, my body needed a release.

The impromptu party didn't last long. I allowed the girls only a couple songs and then I cleared my room, telling everyone it was bed time. It was never a good idea to party while touring.

Sebastian, the dancer, asked politely to use my restroom before leaving. Gil wanted to stay behind, worried about me being left alone with a stranger but I assured him that it was okay for him to return to his room. I took a seat and waited for Sebastian's return.

He walked into the living room, with a smile on his face. "This was definitely one of my favorites gigs. You girls are dope." He said, standing there in nothing but his jeans. I looked him up and down. "Sorry." He said and reached for his shirt.

"You won't need that... unless you're in a hurry to go." I said finally.

"Not if you want me to stay." He said as he stared at me intensely.

"Do you have a sweet tooth?" I asked.

"Depends on what you're trying to put in my mouth." He said making my center ache from his words.

Sebastian smirked as he started to come out of his pants. He grabbed the waist band of his boxers and started to pull them down too.

I shook my head. "You won't need that either." I looked in his eyes as I lifted my hips up off of the couch and took off my shorts and panties. Spreading my legs slightly, I pointed towards the floor. He licked his lips and got down on his knees between my legs. I spread them wider for him.

"She's already so wet and ready for your mouth." I said softly. He couldn't take his eyes off of me. I ran my hands over his head as I pushed his face into me. He lifted my legs onto his shoulders and pulled me forward on the couch, giving himself the freedom and power to feast on all of me.

He devoured me until my body was weak and I couldn't go any longer. Since it had gotten so late, I allowed him to sleep on the couch while I took the bedroom. He was a complete gentleman and even woke me up when I slept through my alarm.

I didn't feel good about what I had done but I needed it. However, I also didn't expect to see Shawn in the hallway. She wasn't suppose to be there. She wasn't suppose to see him leaving my room.

When I did see her, I did my best to pretend like I didn't care. I didn't want her to see me react. So I kept my cool and made it back to the room.

I leaned my head against the door. It was almost like I could feel her, just on the other side. A quick glance through the peep hole and there she was.

At first she looked so angry, like she would come in and give me a piece of her mind, and then her face softened and she looked hurt now. In that moment I felt regretful and I looked away.

I expected her to knock or at least say something but she never did. I thought she would burst into my room and put me in my place. I wanted her to come and claim me as hers but she didn't. She just stood there for a moment and then walked away.

Seeing her face was all I could think about as I got ready. There was no way I could focus, but I did my best to collect myself and finished getting ready.

Trying to focus at sound check proved to be harder than I thought. With Shawn just a few feet away from me, my mind was swirling and it was definitely throwing me off.

After deciding to take a break, I felt like I needed some fresh air, so while no one was looking I slipped out of the exit.

As I walked around the corner, Shawn was headed in the same direction. We ran right into each other.

"Excuse me," I said. "I didn't see you coming."

"It's cool." She said and kept walking. I watched as she walked away.

"Shawn." I said. "I don't want to fight anymore." She stopped and turned to face me. "I'm getting tired of this."

"I'm sorry you feel that way." She said and left me standing there.

I yelled in frustration. What the fuck was I going to do? I couldn't hold her attention long enough to make her even listen to me. What did I have to do?

Gil hit the corner, looking for me. He must have just passed Shawn as she walked inside.

"Did you talk to her?" He asked.

"No, I think she is over it Gil."

"Nah you just need to get her attention." He said.

"But how?" I asked.

He looked at me and smiled. "RopeBurn." He said. I was completely confused.

"What?"

"You saw how upset she got about the idea of you kissing someone. Maybe she needs to see it. Let her know that someone else could be getting some of that sweetness honey. Light a fire inside of her."

I thought about what he said as we walked back inside and as crazy as it sounded, he may have been onto something. She only had the idea of me being would other people but how would she react, if she actually saw me kiss someone.

I guess tonight, we would find out.
