Chapter 12- Lets make things more complicated!

Error contemplates a much simpler life. Meanwhile, Ren's magic gives her a step up to fully live up to her scary Cretaor dreams

———

Error had made himself at home in the crappy chair the Council had, the cheap seating likely due to budgeting issues or more likely sheer laziness. Not like he paid too much attention to the lower monsters who in his eyes were just annoying NPC's.

He had made some much needed adjustments to make his seat recline, rather simple and he only made a tiny adjustment of breaking the one in front of him, so his legs could fully stretch out. At least the Judges were not trying to speak to him...or if they were he was tuning them out. Not like they ever had anything important to say, largely blaming them for causing most of the issues he was forced to deal with, even if the moronic Apple twins were still number one on his list to drop kick into a black hole.

He leaned back and let out a quiet grunt when Ren loudly giggled as she flopped on his chest. Not even questioning how something so small could also feel so heavy at the same time.

Putting it to Creator weirdness and leaving it at that.

That was what he was sticking to as he frankly enjoyed his sanity and had spent far too long trying to fail to understand the rare Creators he passed. Shivering in remembrance of the rather predatory ways they would look at the world, like a lion deciding what would be their next meal.

He might not enjoy the current situation but when travelling outside his multiverse, it led to so many headaches. Although he still couldn't decide if he lucked out by being surrounded by idiotic monsters instead of scarily intelligent ones...or if he was even more cursed by being near monsters who were waving atomic bombs with no clue of the possible destruction.

It was truly a toss up some days which was worse, pulling up his hood to hide his face and trying to muffle out the noise of the idiots around him. His strings long deployed and dripping from the ceiling like an art feature. Easily missed but allowing him to wallow while being able to defend himself if need be.

A nifty little trick he copied from a strange Error that wore neon glasses and threw out 90's lingo like it was their life blood. He had stopped going to those meet ups as often after that, his instincts screaming it was best not to be near them for a good while.

Looks like reality had worked in his favour if he tried to think positively, now truly unable to leave his home unless he wanted a tiny Creator nipping at his heels and a multiverse on fire.

Little Ren hadn't fully bonded with this multiverse quite yet, the claim rather weak which he knew wasn't solely due to their age. The bonelette hadn't claimed enough monsters either, it rather pitiful and kind of terrifying, how life as he knew it was on the balance. All depending on a child the size of a football and one still struggling to speak full sentences.

It all sounded like a sad joke at this point....

Ren had been enjoying staring at the many weird people around her until she sensed something off with her Destroyer. Why was he sighing so much? He was frowning too much even after she did a good job of getting rid of that nasty smelling figure.

She had been sure that was the weird person her Destroyer didn't like going by the 'vibes' the world was letting off. The best way she felt to describe what the air itself was trying to tell here, even if the vague language she had for what was happening sort of annoyed her. Still not knowing enough about the world to understand what was happening.

Maybe she should have removed more of the far too bright people. Maybe she would have got more knowledge that way, her tiny tongue licking her teeth at the reminder of how sweet the odd glowing globe that had come out of the loud person had been. Hands patting her Destroyers chest and frowning when she realised that they also had a weird blob inside of them.

Hmm, she wondered what that meant...?

And if she should perhaps replicate her last feat with the far too loud people around her?

"What are you giggling about you tiny menace?"

She squealed when her Error talked again. Senseless noises coming out of her mouth but her Destroyer was super smart and had recognised what she was trying to say. Right now no different, smiling sunnily as she laid out her suggestion to remove more people.

"You need a nap, not making more people 'vanish'...you know what, we both need a long nap. Wouldn't that be nice? We can go in my nice white space far away from everyone"

Error was aware his words wouldn't be accepted, the tiny thing far too damn stubborn for that and tried to not think about the fact the tiny creature had likely dusted a god when he hadn't been looking.

God dammit, its like he couldn't put down his guard for a second!

"Blegh, Ruru!"

He prayed this was a youth thing and would change as they got older but the sense of doom building up in his SOUL, spoke otherwise. He feared this was a Creator thing, pure stubbornness which was likely good when dealing with one's Creations but an utter pain to deal with now.

That seemed the new motto of his life right now....

"Ouch! What was that?"

"Ruru! Oops!"

"Your vocabulary needs more work. It is sounding far too mocking right now..."

He sighed as he looked down to his chest before freezing like an utter idiot at what he saw. Ever so carefully grabbing Ren's tiny hand and gently pressing against the tiny tips, wincing at the sharp little claws. He was sure they hadn't been like that before..nor were the kids teeth quite so sharp either.

He lifted the tiny body so they were standing on his chest, narrowing his eyes and gently brushing his much sharper claws against the kids cheek. Feeling the subtly raised lines which mimicked his own.

He stared blankly at the kid who kept switching from smiling brightly at him and glaring darkly at everyone else in the room. Watching as the white eyelights kept turning into slits with high emotions, noting the slight vibrations under his hands. Feeling like he was hit with a brick when he realised she was growling.

All these facts were nothing individually but together very Fell like traits. More common from his long gone AU with most Fell's AU's nowadays rather tame in his eyes.

Was this what that freak meant when they said certain bonds could affect monsters in rather rustic ways?! He should have shaken that winged bastard harder for answers, eyes glinting with the urge to reach across reality to strangle the smiling freak for more answers.

Ren growls grew slightly louder as she caught snippets of conversation around her. The people were wise enough to give her and her Error space but not far enough for her liking. The words 'plans', 'binding' and worse of all 'Error', made her bristle.

How dare anyone talk about her Destroyer like they were a pet!

Her body buzzed with magic which instinctively tried to do as she wished. Doing its best to adapt to her wants of being sharper, a threat to anyone who got near Error. Her budding Creators magic doing its best to work with what it had and took some features from her counterpart to achieve her wish.
