Izumi's Pov. 

I felt extremely nervous about today. I guess it has to do with the fact that Im finally going to see Sasuke, after so long. Im scared, excited, and nervous at the same time. 

Taking a deep breath, I watched as Kakashi tied his headband and pulling it down over his left eye. "Nervous?" 

"Wouldnt you be?" I retorted, trying to keep my voice even. "I havent seen him in so long.. the last time I seen him, he was two." I leaned my hand on the dresser, pressing a hand to my head. I felt Kakashi wrap an arm around my waist, his free hand resting on the dresser beside mine. 

"Dont worry." He whispered in my ear. "Im sure it'll work out." I smiled slightly as he pressed a kiss to the top of my head. "Come on," He took my hand and pressed a kiss to my fingers. "We should go." 

"Fine.." I sighed, scooting from my place between him and the dresser. Grabbing my bag, I slipped it over my head, and started toward the front door. Kakashi followed and locked the door as we left the apartment. 

It didnt take long to get to the training grounds, where three kids were waiting. A blonde with blue eyes, a girl with pink hair and green eyes... and a raven haired boy with onyx eyes simillar eyes to mine. 

"HEY YOUR LATE!!" The blonde and pinkette yelled, both jumping to their feet and raising their fists. 

"Sorry, I got lost on the path of life." Kakashi waved, giving a closed eye smile. I raised my eyebrow, crossing my arms over my chest. I felt eyes on me and glanced at the three. They were staring at me with curious eyes. One pair more accusing than the other two. 

"Who's the lady?" The blonde asked loudly, pointing at me. He has Minato's looks... and Kushina's temper is hard to miss. 

"This is Izumi. The co-sensei to any team I take on." Kakashi gestured to me. "If you pass, we will both become your senseis." 

"SHES SO PRETTY!!" The blonde shouted, coming closer to me and staring me in the eyes, a light pink adorning his tan cheeks. "HI IM NARUTO UZUMAKI, FUTURE HOKAGE! BELIEVE IT!" He grinned. 

I glanced at Kakashi who nodded, answering my unspoken question. Naruto Uzumaki. The son of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki. Hes grown, and hes pretty cute. "Hi, Naruto." 

"He is right though, your beautiful." The girl came up, smiling. I blinked in surprise. 

"Oh.. well, thank you." I tried turning their attention back to Kakashi, but it wasnt working. 

"How old are you? How do you know Kakashi-sensei? Whats your favortie color?" And questions like that were asked by both genin. I huffed out a breath and looked at Kakashi who was watching, and most likely laughing inside. 

"Alright, thats enough." Kakashi caught the attention of the two. "Now, for your test." He pulled out two bells from his pocket, and held them up. "All you have to do is take these bells from us. Thats it." He handed me a bell, which I tied to my weapons pouch that was hanging around my waist. 

"Thats it?" 

"Thats it." I confirmed, making the genin turn to me. "You can use any weapons, including shuriken."

"But those are dangerous!" The girl fisted her hands in front of her, eyes terrified. 

"If you dont come at us with the intent to kill.. you wont get a bell. The clock is set to go off at noon. You have two hours to get a bell. If you havent got a bell by then, you will be tied to the post and go without lunch, and watch while we eat our lunch." 

"This is gonna be easy!" Naruto yelled, a grin splitting his face. 

"Ready.... Set...." Before Kakashi could say go, Naruto was lunging at him with a kunai.  

I watched with a smirk as the other two got into position while Kakashi disappeared from my side and reappered in front of Naruto, right hand on his head, while the other redirected the kunai to the back of his head. 

"He's so fast.." The girl muttered in awe. 

"I didnt say go yet," Kakashi said, staring down at him. " But you came at me with the intent to kill. I think Im starting to like you guys." He smiled. "GO!" 

The genin jumped away into hiding places I already knew. 

"Their awfully rambunctious, arent they?" I laughed, looking in the direction my dear little cousin was sitting in. A tree. Good choice. 

"Seems so." Kakashi chuckled. "A good ninja is able to mask their presence and stay silent." He looked around. "They understand that much." 

"I suppo-" I cut myself off, looking around Kakashi to the blonde child that stood with utmost determination. "Or not." I blanched when Kakashi frowned then turned around, eyeing the child as he took out a kunai. "You got him?"

"Go ahead." I raised an eyebrow, turning and began my way to the other side of the clearing. I stepped through the trees and stopped beside the girl as she moved to get up. I tapped my foot on the ground, hands on my hips as I stared down at her. 

She froze, and slowly glanced up at me. "I-Izumi-sensei?" She stuttered out. I shook my head and raised my right hand. She was almost shaking with fear as she watched my movements. Placing her under Genjutsu, I watched as her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she passed out. 

"Well.." I muttered, moving to an opening. I could sense Sasuke's chakra moving toward me. It was flaring as he began a jutsu. Using substitution, I perched myself on a branch in a tree. I watched as the little raven child looked around from his newfound place in the center of the clearing. 

"I know your there." His voice was only slightly deeper than it was when he was little, surprisingly. His eyes met mine and narrowed as I dropped to the ground, landing gracefully on my feet. Sasuke really had gotten big. That's for sure. I was rather surprised when he basically challenged me. "Who are you really?" He demanded, more than asked. 

"I thought you wanted this bell." I gestured to the little silver bell tied to my pouch. "I didnt think you would want to talk, especially now of all times." I teased, a smirk on my face. Sasuke glared, his dark eyes filled with questioning and annoyance. 

I watched as he ran at me, jumping up and delivering kicks and punches, which I caught with ease. I could feel the anger radiating off of him in waves when I stopped his movements, twisting his small body, though now very much smaller than mine, into a pretzel. 

"Gah!" He yelled as I flung him across the wide space. Kakashi appeared at that moment, watching the younger Uchiha stumble to his feet. 

"So you havent awakened you sharingan yet..." I murmured to myself. Sasuke's eyes narrowed and he glared. I simply turned, and started walking away, planning on speaking to him later. "Have fun you two." 

I took a spot, perched atop the pole poor Naruto had been tied to, my legs dangling to the side of him. "Izumi-sensei, please untie me!" The bonde pleaded, trying to tilt his hea up to look at me. 

"Not gonna happen, blondie." I lowered my hand and ruffled his hair, and flicking his forehead. "You may be cute, but your not that cute." I raised an eyebrow as he started puppy dog eyes. That only ever worked for two people. Sasuke and Aniki. Not even my own brother could pull it off. 

It was then that the alarm went off, making me jump. Naruto laughed, wiggling in his confines. I watched as Sasuke and Sakura slumped into the area, the latter catching my eye and glaring. With a sigh, I hopped down, moving to join Kakashi as he stood in front of him. 

"Wow..." I eyed the group. Kakashi nodded in agreement. 

"Ive decided." He spoke up, arms crossed over his chest. "Your not being sent back to the academy." Sakura and Naruto cheered, smiling and all that good stuff. Smirking, I waited for alien to continue. "Your being dropped from the program. Permanently." 

"W-What?!" 

"Why do you think your put on a four man squad in the first place? Think about it. Three Genin, one jounin." I asked, watching as they each frowned, even Sasuke. 

"I dont know. To carry out missions better?" Sakura questioned, shrugging. 

My palm met my face, and I shook my head in dissappointment. 

"Its teamwork!" Kakashi snapped, obviously not liking the answer. "All teams must learn to work together." I huffed out a breath. "You can go now if you want," He leaned over and whispered. I nodded and made a handsign, 'poofing' away. I ended up in front of the compound. 

I knew it wouldnt be long until a certain baby Uchiha comes looking for me. So I decided to visit my brother.

"Its about time, kid." I didnt turn around as he approached. I stayed in front of the memorial stone, listening as he came closer. 

"Who are you?" He demanded. 

"Demanding little thing you've turned into." I laughed lightly as I faced him. "My name is Izumi Uchiha. Im your cousin, Sasuke."
