The next day, You left the tent and looked around as everyone went to either go hunting or to go eat breakfast.

"Hey Y/N! Over here!"

You turned your head and saw Amy waving at you.

You gave her a small smile as you walked towards them.

"Hope you're hungry!" Silver said as he gave you some food.

"Thanks."

Before you could take a bite, you were startled as Cream gave you a surprise hug.

"Good morning Y/N!"

"Good Morning Cream. You startled me."

"Hehe. Sorry! I was just excited because I wanted to give you something!"

"Really? What is it?"

Cream pulled out a necklace.

"A gift for you!"

You smiled at her and slowly took it.

"Thanks Cream."

"You're welcome!"

Even though you were planning to leave tonight, you didn't want to upset her so you tried to keep a smile on your face as you put it on.

You suddenly saw Shadow approaching towards the others, carrying his breakfast but you noticed that he was soaking wet and frustrated.

"Hey Shadow! Why are you all soaked?" Amy asked.

Shadow threw his meal to the side and sighed in frustration.

"This thing tried to escape by jumping into the lake so I had to swim after it and drown it. It wasn't easy I can tell you that."

You were staring at Shadow with a big blush on your face as Blaze smirked at you.

You saw this and quickly looked away.

"I need to dry off."

They quickly tried to tell him no but he turned into a tiger and shook the water off of him as they got splashed by him.

He grinned at this and walked off.

"You suck!" Scourge yelled.

Shadow just chuckled as he entered his tent.

You giggled at this, knowing that it was a little funny.

After breakfast, You and Shadow went for a walk and you decided to ask him something.

"Hey Shadow?"

"Hmm?"

"I understand that you and Maria are close but...how do you feel about her?"

Shadow raised an eyebrow.

"Why would you like to know?"

"Uh...I was just wondering if you liked her or not?"

"I do...But only as a friend. I have no purpose of being in a relationship with her."

You secretly sighed in relief and looked back at him.

"Do you like anyone?"

Shadow looked at you and smirked.

"Yeah actually. In fact, I'm actually quite hungry."

You were about to ask him who he liked but his comment stopped your track.

"Wait what?"

He turned into a tiger and growled at you with his teeth showing.

"S-Shadow?"

He walked towards you slowly.

"You look like a delicious piece of meat."

He licked his lips, looking like a hungry predator.

"Shadow! Stay back!"

You backed up against the tree as he took one more step while growling softly.

You closed your eyes tightly and felt his breath near your face. You expected him to take a bite out of your neck like a vampire.

Suddenly, Shadow licked your face, which caught you completely by surprise.

He grinned at you as he backed away and ran off with a chuckle.

You snapped back to reality and yelled,

"I'm gonna get you for that!"

You chased after him as you both laughed.

That night, Shadow jumped on top of the rocky mountain in the tiger grounds as he took you the best place to view the stars.

You climbed off his back as he turn back to normal and sat down.

"I had a lot of fun today Shadow."

"Honestly, I did too."

You smiled at him as he gave you a smile back.

You slowly frowned as you looked at the ground. Shadow looked at you and asked,

"Something wrong?"

You were in deep thought, not knowing what to do.

Meanwhile in the Lion grounds, Maria came out of the cave with a glare on her face as she looked down at the necklace she was holding.

"Looks like I'll have to take care of this myself."

She puts on the necklace as it gave a small flash. The necklace she was wearing was the Blue Moon.

She walked towards the edge of the cliff as her quills blew in the wind.

As the Moon began to glow, the necklace did as well, along with her eyes and it began to give her more energy towards her gem.

She starts floating a bit as her gem shot out light blue trails.

In the village, they noticed the Moon was glowing brighter than usual as they all started to talk to each other, wondering what's going on.

Sonic and the others noticed it as they were chatting.

"What's going on?" Knuckles asked.

"I'm not sure." Amy asked.

The blue trails starts flying towards one of the Shapeshifters as it went inside one of their gems.

He screamed in pain as everyone ran in fear as it hits them one by one.

With you and Shadow, you took a deep breath as you kept staring at the ground.

"Shadow? There's something you should know."

"What is it?"

"Well...I...I...huh?"

You looked up and saw the Moon glowing brightly. Shadow noticed this as well and quickly stood up.

"What's going on with the Moon?"

"Someone must of stolen the Blue Moon necklace. No one has ever used it besides Tikal."

"But who...wait? What is that?"

Two blue trails were heading your way as one of them went towards Shadow.

When it went inside his gem, it turned bright blue as he starts holding his head, screaming in pain.

"Shadow!"

You tried to help him but he quickly stopped you.

"S-Stay back!"

You stood back a bit and then noticed another blue trail heading towards you.

"No! Please!"

You closed your eyes tightly but then noticed that the blue trail couldn't get in your gem. It tried a few times but it gave up and flew off.

You looked at Shadow as he was on his knees, staring at the ground, panting heavily.

"S-Shadow?"

He lifted his head as his eyes were fully neon blue.

You gasped as he stood up slowly.

"Shadow? Can you hear me?"

He looked at you but didn't say anything. You got nervous as he stood still for a bit but then he turned into a tiger and ran off.

"Shadow!"

You quickly ran after him, wondering where he was going.

When you finally found him, you noticed that he and the others were in the Lion grounds. You noticed that everyone also had glowing eyes.

You waved your hands in front of their faces but there was no reaction.

"Hello?! Can anyone hear me!?"

"Hear me my subjects!"

You turned your head and noticed that Maria was glowing under the light rays of the Moon.

"For I am now your true Queen! And We will once and for all, do what it is right for our Kingdom!"

They cheered for her as you looked at her shocked.

"Maria!?"

Maria looked down and was shocked to see that you weren't under her spell.

"How are you not under my control!?"

"Maria!? What's going on!? What are you doing to them!?"

Maria flew towards you and looked at you closely. She touched your gem and saw that it pushed itself out and fell to the ground.

"An Outsider!"

You got nervous as you backed up.

"I-I can explain!"

Maria growled in anger.

"Guards! Seize her!"

The Lioness Shapeshifters walked towards you in their lion forms as they were roaring and growling loudly.

You tried to run away but you were completely surrounded. They walked towards you slowly as they kept growling at you.

"Oh no! What do I do!?"
