Chapter 3

The cafeteria buzzed with noise, the sound of annoying people laughing and talking, the clattering of plates and utensils, and the grating noises of people chewing with their mouths open which made you want to murder them where they stood right then and there.

Glaring across the room, searching and scanning for that shithead, my eyes locked with Todoroki, who was casually eating his lunch, but when he saw that I noticed him, he merely looked back down continuing with his food. Sick bastard, such a god-damned arrogant person.

A growl escaping under my breath, I stood up from my seat. Kirishima trying to get me to sit back down, cause of course he already knew where this might lead, I simply shoved him back down into his seat not too forcefully before barging over to Todoroki.

Todoroki looking up at me slowly, an unsurprised look on his face, he stopped eating and set his utensils down, pushing the plate away a small bit before engaging in the conversation.

"Can I help you?" This guy is going to have the time of his life if he doesn't watch his disgusting tongue.

"What's your damned problem?!"

"What."

"Why were you listening to my conversation with Kirishima." His eyes sparkling with interest in a split-second, it disappeared as he gained his composure once more.

"I wasn't. I was walking by and heard."

"Bullshit." Todoroki laughing emotionless, he gazed up at me with his hands up in defence.

"Listen believe it or not I was just worried about you. So sorry for caring." Anger surging through me, I flipped him off quickly muttering curses under my breath and left before I was able to do anything I shouldn't have.

Todoroki continuing to watch me as I left the cafeteria, I dove into the hallway, so he couldn't keep looking at me like I was some spectacle to be watched. Irritation pulsing in my veins heating my body. I groaned as I pulled a hand through my hair violently, nails scraping against my scalp causing a burning aching feeling to linger.

Feet carrying me away with each step I took, I ended up in the hallways where all the classrooms were. Grumbling inaudible curses, I kept my eyes towards the ground as I stormed as far away as I could from him.

Stupid Todoroki and his bullshit excuse, he probably just wants to see me suffer or have any emotion other than anger in front of him...

I felt myself slow down to a stop as I glanced around the hallways, even taking a small peek backwards to see if Kirishima did actually follow me.

He didn't.

In his defence, it was quite the wise choice. Hushed and hurried voices whispering through the hallways, I perked my head upwards trying to figure out where it was coming from only to notice a classroom with the door partially open.

An unsettling feeling bubbling inside of my chest, I pushed it aside, scowling at my stupidity and continued onwards towards the door. My hand gently grasping the doorway, I pulled myself forwards to sneak a look inside.

Many of the teachers were huddled around, the principle in the main chair trying to retain order through the sounds of panic and worry.

"What about the kids?" Glancing at the person who spoke up, I noticed it was Midnight. The principle looking at her, cocking an eyebrow, he shrugged and looked back down, stirring his hot drink with a tiny teaspoon.

"What about them?"

"Well if they have one, at least one that we know, wouldn't they come back and try to take more?" A storm settled it's way inside my chest, they took a kid? Which kid?.... Was it one from the hero class? No, I would've noticed, everybody's too annoying to not talk about that kind of thing.

"I doubt it." Recognizing the voice, I scanned the room to find the right face, and felt my heart stop to see All Might gazing back at me, his muscular body too big for the small school chair. My chest squeezing in on itself, he shot me a wink before looking back to the others.

What the fu-

"Sir?"

"The one they have could be any of the missing children, there has been no record of any children being kidnapped or stolen from us. And I highly doubt it will." All might glancing at me cautiously while he spoke, my mind clouded with thoughts. Eyes wide, I took a step back from the door, using the doorway to support me as I felt my knees tremble.

"This is pissing me off, we know where they are, and yet we can't do anything."

"We only know a location that they want us to know about, that's all we have, judging by how open they are, there's no doubt they have multiple bases. They probably leave the low levels to the recruitment building. It's exhausting." Aizawa grumbling under his breath, he shot a glance at Present Mic who crossed his arms on his chest, slumping back in his chair.

"So what do we do?"

"Simple, report the dangers to your kids, let them know, so they don't get tricked or manipulated, and make sure everyone follows the rules, we might have to set dorms worse case scenario and tighten security." The principle glancing up at everyone for acknowledgement, they all nodded their heads agreeing.

"What about the child they have?"

"We can't do anything yet, the best we can do is wait and see if their identity becomes revealed. Chances are some of the kids are already working with them, we just don't know who and I doubt we will unless they reveal themselves. Just be on guard." The principle speaking up, I let out a sigh as I backed up a small bit only to feel someone behind me. My back pressing up against them, I turned around to see Todoroki looking down at me.

"Hello."

"WHAT THE FUCK."
