| Chapter 19: 2 months, A Price. |

I watched her wrap her palms around the coffee cup that Bobby past to her and Sierra and I kept nervously exchanges glances.

"Hi Nick, sweety." Mom greeted Nick as he glared around the room, only for his eyes to soften at the sight of Glinda. "How are you honey?"

Nick stood in silence, glaring over at me as I moved over to the chair she was sitting in and squated down in front of her. Pulling the attention away from Nick as Dean and Sam whispered among each other in the Kitchen.

"Mom, why are you here?" I asked, gently as Sierra appeared by my side. I watched as she attempted to sip on her cup and her hand was shaking so hard that some of her coffee dripped off onto her pants.

"Mom?" Sierra gently pushed as Bobby gestured to Nick as Bobby led him out of the office and into the Kitchen with Sam and Dean, giving us some time.

"It's your Father." she choked, not looking up as I stood up to join Sierra. "He's sick, he's dying."

"Wh-What?" Sierra blinked.

"Sick? Dying of what?" I insisted, looking at Sierra's face flushing red and Mom's face remaining blank.

"The doctor's call it Meningococcal disease." She sniffled, setting the coffee cup down on the desk that stood next to her. "It's a contagious bacterial disease that attacks the brain and spinal cord. He's had a fever,  some nausea and vomiting. He can't get rid of the headaches, the blurred vision, and I can't get him to relax due to his stiff neck."

"H-How did he...?" Sierra trailed off as we watched our Mother lean forward in the chair with a deep frown.

"Who the hell knows." she sighed, standing up. "This was the last place I knew you guys were..." her eyes flickered form myself to Sierra. "...it's good to see you're alirght honey!" she pulled her eldest daughter into a right hug and sighed heavily. "I knew Dani would find you."

"Yep," Sierra giggled nervously pulling away from Glinda. "You don't have to worry about losing me..."

I glared at Sierra over Glinda's shoulder.

"...why do you say it like that?" Glinda asked, glaring from Sierra to myself. "What's going on?"

"Nothing." I shot as Sierra opened her mouth to speak, but closed it.

Glinda glared between the two of us and crossed her arms.

"Who did what?" She pushed, once more, but neither of us spoke.

"Your Daughter," sighed Bobby, entering from the Kitchen, earning a glare from myself. "made a deal."

"A Deal?" Glinda looked slighly confused as she continued looking between her two daughters. "What kind of deal?"

"A crossroads one." Bobby answered, still being scolded by my eyes.

"A WHAT?!" shouted Glinda, making the res tof us jump. "Who?" She asked, completely switching from nerve shot saddened Mother to angry Mother.

I felt like my sister and I just got caught smoking, but she didn't know which one of us bought the cigarettes or who was smoking. Sierra and I looked at each other, watching the color drained from both of our faces as the tension rose.

Sierra frowned, lowering her head and pulling her gaze away from me and crossing her arms.

"Me." I stated, not breaking my stare at Sierra, but moving the stare to Glinda now. "I did."

"Why the HELL would you do something like that Danielle Rae Rhett?!" shouted Gilnda, advancing on me and squeezing my wrists. "Do you have any idea what you've -?"

"- what I've done?" I asked, earning a shocked expression from her as she released my wrists. "I saved your other daughter. Dad's favorite."

Glinda frowned, fighting  back tears.

"I saved her, I knew she would live. No matter how the rescue turned out." I explained, leaning against Bobby's desk now.

"Do you know how hard those are to get out of?" Glinda almost shouted, as if she had figured out i was the bad influence.

"Yes." I simply answered, crossing my arms now. "Working on that."

"Working on it?" Glinda echoed, and I watched as her body language tensed up even more. "You shouldn't have done it in the first place, Nick!"

I rolled my eyes at her at this point.

Nick slowly emerged from the kitchen as Dean and Sam continued watching in silence.

"Why the hell would you let her do that -?" started Glinda, only to be interrupted by me.

"- Wait, let her?"

"She's not my problem anymore." Nick's voice pierced thorugh Glinda's rage, causing her to go silent.

"What do you mean?" Glinda glared at me. "What did you do?"

"Dean." NIck answered quickly as we all reacted to a sudden sound of shuffling in the Kitchen, we all saw Sam holding Dean back as Glinda looked over Nick's shoulder at them, then back at me.

"You cheated on Nick?" gasped Glinda, grabbing her chest and sitting back into the same chair she had stood from. "What have I raised?"

"Your daughter." I shouted, pushing myself off Bobby's desk. "I made the deal, to save Sierra. I didn't cheat on Nick - he and Sierra got together before we did and didn't bother to tell me that they slept together - and yeah, I slept with Dean -"

"- what?!" gasped Nick, as I ignored his jealousy flare and continued talking.

"- and it was amazing!" I smiled broadly, shoving past Glinda and Nick and meeting Dean by the lips. "Hell of a time for a girl's first time."

Glinda's eyes widened as Dean pulled me into him and kissed me on the forehead and as I turned to face the room, he wrapped his arms around my waste and allowed me to lean back on him as he leaned against the counter. He pecked my neck as I spoke up again.

"This is me." I stated, glaring right at Glinda. "I'm working on a plan to save myself, becuase no one else will do it -"

"- I will -" chimed Dean, earning a giggle from me.

"- and I've never been happier." I proclaimed, not breaking eye contact with my Mom.

"What if we find a way to save Dad, Dani?" Sierra broke the tension away from me as she entered the kitchen.

"Another deal?" asked Sam, earning a glare from Glinda.

"Maybe...we can look in it, right Dani?" asked Sierra, almost pleading with me as Dean released my hips and I moved to my sister and pulled her into a hug.

"We can figure something out, I guess..." I nodded, looking over at Glinda. "...do us all a favor and take him home."

"Excuse me?" glared Nick, as Glinda's jaw hung at my blunt words. "You can't get rid of me that  -"

"- yes we can." growled Sierra, out of no where. Causing the entire room to look at her in shock. "No one wants you here anyway, all you're doing is barating Dani, fighting Dean and crying to me in between. Fuck off already!"

"I love you!" I grinned, wrapping my arm around Sierra's neck as Glinda and Nick exchanged shocked looks at our behavior. "You heard her..." I glared at Nick as he stompt out of the room and up the stairs, assumingly to get his things.

"What happened to you two?" asked Glinda, quietly. "The road, the hunt - it's changed you."

"The hunt?" repeated Sierra, crossing her arms. "The hunt made us who we really are -"

"- Yeah, besides you used to be one of us." I pointed out, as Glinda lowered her head - almost ashamed - as she made eye contact with Bobby.

"I came here to tell you about your Father." She stated, after a few moments of lingering and stinging silence. "Hoping you would come back home to say goodbye..."

Sierra and I stood our ground, glaring at our Mom.

"...it seems you guys are just going to chase a chance that he can be saved by some supernatural deal." Glinda sighed, glaring right back at her daughers. "Instead of joining the real world."

"This is the real world." Sierra chimed in.

"You taught us that." I stated, flatly. "It's not that we dont' care, Mom. It's that we know there's some other forces in this world that can help - how have you not thought of this?"

"I have!" she shot short. "The issue is, you girls don't understand - there's always a price."

"A price?" echoed Sierra.

"A price, always a price for everything in this world - a balance is always due." she stated, coldly as Nick stompted down the stairs and shoved his way out of the front door, causing Glinda to allow her gaze to flicker between us and the front door. "Sooner or later, you two will learn that - hopefully sooner rather than later."

Sierra and I stood there, with no response.

"Maybe you'll learn that in 2 months." spat Glinda, nodding at Bobby and disappearing through the front door, leaving Sierra and I staring at each other in disbelief.

"Disease gets a bad rep, don't you think? For being filthy, chaotic. Uh, but, really, that just describes who get sick. Disease itself... very... pure. Single-minded. Bacteria have one purpose: divide and conquer. That's why, in the end... it always wins."

I bolted upright in a cold sweat, waking Sierra up that was lying beside me.

"What is it, are you alright?" gasped Sierra, sitting up in a rush.

"Yeah...just a bad dream..." I whimpered, lying back down as she did the same and immedately started snoring. "...just a dream." I repeated, frowning up a the ceiling.

"Just a dream." came a male voice from the pitch black void that was our room.
