| Chapter 18: Change.|

I took a deep breath as Dean put the car in park and jumped a little when I felt his fingers tangle with mine. He gave my hand a quick squeeze before pulling it to his lips.

"Are you ready for this?" Dean whispered, before we both rose out of the Challenger.

"No," I giggled, leaning against the front of my car as Dean pressed himself against me, gripping my hips then sliding his lips on mine. I moaned slghtly as he pulled away, placing his hands on my cheeks, pulling my head forward so he could kiss my forehead.

"Come on," He smiled, which caused my knees to weaken as he took my hand, tangling our fingers again, and leading the way into the house. Only to immedately be met by Sam, whose eye went wide as his eyes landed on our hands.

"Dean -" started Sam, only to squeeze his eyes shut as someone approached the entry way behind Sam.

"Dani, thank god -" Nick gasped, moving forward to hug me, but stopped short as an envy glisten came over his eyes at the sight of my hand tanlged with Deans. "- I FUCKING KNEW IT!"

"You knew what?" I scoffed, glaring at him.

"I knew you had feelings for this Jackoff!" shouted Nick, attempting to step towards Dean, but Sam interjected himself, glaring over at me. "Who the fuck do you think you are -?"

"- I'm Dani's man..." Dean bragged, releasing my hand to step forward as well. "...and she's mine, in every way." He winked, turning back to me and kissing me hard, running his fingers through my hair.

"Oh Fuck this!" Nick almost screamed, storming past us and out the front door.

"What the hell was that?" asked Sam, quietly, glaring at the pair of us.

"I had to." shrugged Dean, looking from Sam to me. "Sorry about that..."

I held a hand up and chuckled. "...it was fun."

He grinned, kissing my forehead again before following Nick's exit out the front door.

I watched after him, completely oblivious to Sam's glare, but only for a few minutes before I turned and was led into the kitchen, where it was just Sam and I.

"What the hell are you doing?" Sam scolded, looking around the house and leaning against the counter. "Do you not remember the talk we had at the hotel?"

"Yes." I groaned, rolling my eyes. "I'm being careful, Sam."

"Are you?" Sam shot, kicking himself off the counter. "Because it looks like you're just a schoolgirl and her crush -"

"- are you crabby becuase you haven't gotten laid in a while?" I growled back, scowling at his reaction. His eyes hardened as I continued, "Seriously, is there any part of you that thinks your Brother and I might have something real -?"

"- Real?" chuckled Sam, looking around the room in annoyance. "You've known each other for less than a month, and since you've met you and your boyfriend broke up and you two have gotten together..."

"...First of all," I cleared my throat, counting on my fingers. "My 'boyfriend' and I broke up because he wasn't honest with me about fucking my sister!"

Sam flinched at my voice.

"Second of all, the only fucking person that was there for me was Dean!" I heard myself echoing around the house at this point. "So excuse the fuck out of me for not only be appreciative of that, but for seeing my worth in someone else."

"What?" Sam blinked.

"Dean has shown me, in the small amount of time we've spent together, that I'm worth  more than just a smalltown love. I'm worth more than just a secret Hunter in the saburbs. I'm more than just another girl!" I exclaimed, glaring at Sam's disapproving face. "Listen, if it'll make you feel better....you can tell me, 'i told you so,' if this goes down in flames."

Sam frowned and stepped closer to me, causing an odd, different, tension to rise between us.

"I won't tell you I told you so, that's not who I am." Sam stated, in a lower tone that was oddly charming. "Who knows, it may be real...but I know my Brother."

"Dani!" chimed a voice, breaking this weird tension that just clayed itself between Sam and myself. I looked over to see Sierra jolting from the bottom of the staircase, through Bobby's office and into the Kitchen where she all but tackled me to the ground. "Where the fuck have you been?"

"Finding a way to deal with Lillith." I stated, as Sam's eyebrows shot up.

"So you have been busy?" Sam chuckled, as I watched him and Sierra exchange some sort of spark before Sierra spoke again.

"Nick has been losing his mind!" giggled Sierra, pulling me to the Kitchen table as Sam joined us. "He's been calling you -"

"- you have too -" I mentioned, but Sierra pushed on.

"- He's been sleeping in the front porch, he's been nonstop about you!" Sierra explained, but then realized the tension that lingered between msyelf and Sam. "Did I miss something?"

"Yes."

"No."

Sierra looked between myself and Sam, confused.

"Dean and I -" I started, but Sierra thought she knew the ending of my statement.

"- did you guys kiss?!" she sqealed, excitedly.

"Yes, but -" I started, but she interrupted again.

"- Did you guys sleep together?!" she asked, in the same annoying, ear-drum busting tone.

"Yes, but Sierra -" I started, again, but she rose to her feet to interrupt me again.

"Are you two together?!"

"Jesus Christ!" gasped Sam, looking up at Sierra and then dully at me.

"Yes." I nodded, ignoring Sam's disapproval as Sierra smiled down at me. "You and Nick could..." I trailed off, feeling a little tug on my heart but Sierra's eyes lit up, although her body language seemed to be conflicted.

"...we'll see." Sierra waved me away. "I have someone else in mind." she grinned, glancing at Sam, who just looked between us and then slowly rose to his feet and disappeared out of the kitchen, causing Sierra and I to burst out laughing. "Has Nick found out yet?" she asked, getting up and getting us two beers from the fridge.

"Yeah, he saw us come in." I sighed, heavily. "Who knows what he and Dean are doing."

"Probably working it out." shrugged Sierra, pulling the tab on her beer and sipping on it. "Are...are we okay?"

I frowned at her.

"It's going to take time, Sierra." I frowned, taking her hand that was placed on the table in between us. "You really hurt me, and so did Nick - but you more than him."

Sierra swallowed hard and lowered her head in shame.

"You slept with him, before we dated and you didn't bother to tell me, knowing how I felt about him." I started, glaring down at my unopened beer. "Then we started dating, and neither of you felt the need to tell me, Sierra - we used to tell each other everything...why was Nick any different?"

Sierra sighed into the table.

"Was it because he's a boy?" I asked, giggling, trying to shave the tension. "Was it because we were heavy in the church at that point and you were ashamed...?"

Silence fell over us for a few moments before Sierra spoke.

"He was my first." fell out of her mouth, as if it was acid on the floor. My jaw dropped as she continued, "We were drunk at Matthew Rule's Senior Year Party."

I adjusted myself in the chair as I listened intently.

"When we first met, at that party, I had no clue he was the Nick you would talk about." frowned Sierra, looking up at me. "Then we we got to talking, I found out he had a crush on me - and that was after Brad ghosted me."

"Fuck Brad." I shot, finally opening my beer and continuing to listen.

"We started trying to out drink each other and the next thing I knew, we were waking up the next morning, naked, in the back of his truck in the middle of Old Man Cherl's field." Sierra frowned down at the table again, which she held most of the time she spoke.

"Sierra," I called her name gently, as she downed the rest of her beer, but before I could say anything she added something.

"Then I watched him act like we never happened after he met you." she spoke with some venom in her tone, as I felt a slight insult strike me.

"Sierra," I frowned, pulling my chair closer to her. "Why didn't you tell me all of this?"

"Because you seemed so happy that he finally saw you, and then when you guys got together...you just seemed like you were on cloud nine." Sierra explained, finally looking up at me. "Now, you seem different."

"Different?" I echoed.

"You don't seem to be on cloud nine with Dean," Sierra smiled. "I know you guys haven't known each other for very long, but you seem to be glowing with him. He matches  you energy, if anything balances you out...and I love that for you."

"Sierra," I smiled, as she looked at her beer can and sighed again. "I'm so sorry that I didn't know any of that."

"How are you supposed to know, if you don't know?" She shrugged, looking at me again. "You know?"

"Yeah, but if I had known all of that, I wouldn't have done anything with Nick. I would have figured out what to do with my feelings and shoved him back to you." I explained, pulling her into a hug. "It'll take some time, Sierra - but I think we'll be okay."

"We as in...?" Sierra seemed to sniffle into my shoulder.

"We as in, me and you, dummy!" I giggled, pushing her off me. "You're my sister and I'd pick you over anyone in a heartbeat."

"Ditto, Bitch!" smiled Sierra, pulling me into a hug and squeezing as hard as she could.

"DANi - come quick!" came Sam's voice fro outside, causing both Sierra and myself to jump up and bolt out the front door. "Help!" He shouted, attempting to pull Dean off of Nick as Nick scambled to his feet and went to charge at Dean again.

"Nick!" Sierra and I shouted in unison as we interjected and held Nick back as Dean's wild eyes landed on me, and almost instantly started to calm down.

"What the fuck?" I asked, shoving Nick in the opposite direction.

Nick was bleeding all over his shirt, as Sierra started talking to him in a low voice and attempting to calm him down. Glaring at Nick's demeanor, I moved to Dean and started drying some blood off his lip with my shirt.

"I'm alright baby," Dean said, breathlessly as he looked from Nick to me and I watched as his eyes softened. "I promise."

"You're bleeding." I giggled, stepping back and holding my, now, bloody shirt before letting it go and letting it wrap around me again. "What was this about?"

"What do you think?" hissed Sam, earning a confused glare from Dean.

"I'm just trying to protect her, Sierra - she's being a dumb bitch and all he's going to do is fuck her, leave her like the rest!" shouted Nick, shoving Sierra away from him.

"Hey!" I barked, advancing on Nick. "Don't fucking touch her!" I shouted, inserting myself between him and Sierra.

"You're so fucking stupid, you know that?" Nick spoke through a gushing nose bleed as his eyes glared through the tiny tears that were forming in his eyes. "What the fuck are you doing with him?"

I glared, as Sierra moved around me to try and console him again, only for him to snatch away from her grip.

"He's going to sweet talk you, fuck you and leave you - you know that right?" Nick shouted, pointing at Dean and glaring at me. "How the fuck could you do this to me?"

"To you?!" My eyes widened, anger shot through veins but then it all came screeching to a halt. "You know what, I'm talking in circles with you."

"What?" He asked, out of breath, stiill holding my glare.

"This is the last fucking time I'm saying it," I growled, getting Nick's face. "You slept with my sister, neither of you bothered to tell me before or during our time together. When that came to light Nick, we were over. Dean was the ONLY one there for me." I pointed at Dean, who was watching Nick closely. "If you can't handle the fact that you fucked up and lost me, and my sister, then that's your problem."

Nick stood there, speechless.

"You and Sierra can try and work something out if you want," I stated, backing away from him and glancing at my sister. "I wouldn't recommend it though."

I turned to see Dean beaming at me, but glaring at Nick over my shoulder, which caused me to turn to face NIck again.

"I'm done talking about this, I've moved on. You should too." I barked, reaching over and tangling my fingers with Dean's and leading him into the house, with Sam in tow.

"All that," sighed Bobby, picking up the Moon Rock off his desk. "over this?"

"And this..." Dean stated, gesturing to me. "...her...this...this!"

I smiled at his childishness as Bobby continued speaking.

"Okay, and Boris was the one you spoke to?" asked Bobby, earning a shocked face from both myself and Dean.

"You know him?" asked Dean, taking the words right out of my mouth.

"He's the Alpha of the state's pack." Bobby elaborated. "He's been around forever."

"That would have been helfpul to know earlier." smirked Dean, wrapping his arm around my neck. "Anyway, that's the plan."

"Sounds sketchy." Sierra inserted, crossing her arms and kicking herself off the wall that stood between the office and the enterance way. "But, I feel like it may work."

"It may work?" I repeated, looking over at her as Dean started playing with my fingers.

"I don't know about this -" started Bobby when we all froze at a knock on the front door. "- who the fuck...where's Nick?"

"Upstairs." answered Sierra, looking over her shoulder and moving towards the front door. "Uh, Dani..." she called, causing me to part from Dean, move past Sam to lay eyes on the one person I didn't expect to see for another three or four months, at least - at least until this Deal is done.

"Mom?"
