You felt your insides knotting up. The way he smiled at you, it made your heart go crazy. Though you knew that smile that he offered to you was a friendly one.

You met Hoshi at an interview you applied for. He was nice to you. You applied to be an assistant but never specifically mentioned who you wanted to be an assistant for. Thankfully, Hoshi offered to give you the job.

"Coffee?", he held up two cups, one in front of you.

"Aren't I supposed to get the coffee?", you said, chuckling.

You headed towards the elevators, Hoshi walking beside you. You take the coffee from his hand and carefully took a sip of the warm drink. While you drank the coffee, Hoshi observed your every move.

You didn't know it but his feelings towards you have grown since the day he met you. His friends think badly of you which is why they refused to work with you. But Hoshi always volunteers to help you with something and you didn't mind. Though everyone else did.

While you worked in your small office, Hoshi was called in to his manager's office.

"I need you to fire (y/n). She's no good for anyone here. She's making the company look bad", his manager said.

"No she's not. She's doing a fantastic job. What makes you think she needs to get fired?", Hoshi asked.

"There have been complaints-"

"By who? Last time I checked she's my assistant. And she hasn't done anything wrong from I've seen. She doesn't need to be fired", Hoshi said.

"Either you fire her or You're dismissed", his manager said.

You were in the practice room, cleaning the mirror before the guys come in to practice their choreography. You noticed a small spot that was difficult to clean so you kept spraying and wiping until the spot was gone.

"Hey."

You flinched once you felt hands on your waist. You turned around and sighed as you noticed it was Hoshi. He was smiling and was holding a rose.

"Hey. You need something?", you asked.

"I do need something. I need you to go on a date with me", he said.

You almost choked on your saliva. Once again you started to feel your insides twist. You wanted to say yes but nothing would come out of your mouth. You just stood there, stuttering with a flushed face.

"So I take that as a yes?", he chuckled.

"I thought the staff couldn't date idols", you said.

"Let's not worry about that now. Just go on a date with me", he said, handing you the rose.

You took the Rose in your hand and lightly sniffed it, taking in the sweet scent. You smiled and agreed to go on a date with him.

Later on, he drove you towards a small cafe. You sat down in a booth, Hoshi sitting down next to you. You notice he was fidgeting around in his seat after they took your order. His fidgeting made you more nervous.

"(Y/n)..I wanna understand something. I know that you know that a lot of people talk poorly about you. Almost everyone in the company does. Why are you still working for me?", he asked.

"Because...I like working for you. You're nice to me. Yeah everybody else is mean to me but you're not and that's all that matters to me..I mean..I really like..this job..", you mumbled awkwardly.

"You really like this job...or you really like me?", he asked.

"Does it matter if I tell you? Either way, nothing can happen as long as I'm working for you", you said, stirring the straw from your drink.

"(Y/n)..I have to fire you", he said.

"What?? Why?? What did I do wrong?? Is it because I don't get your coffee on time??", you asked, almost breaking down in tears.

"No you didn't do anything wrong. Not to me anyways. But everyone else, they keep complaining and my manager thinks I should fire you. If I don't then he will and trust me you don't wanna get fired by him", he said.

"So I'm getting fired either way...well that blows. I really like working for you", you pouted.

"That doesn't mean I don't get to see you right? Look, the other reason why I had to fire you is because he thought we were getting too close. That's why in this situation I'd rather have you as a girlfriend than an assistant", he said.

"What?..girlfriend?", you asked, making sure you're not daydreaming.

"Yeah. I mean he can't fire you from that", he said.

"I'm not sure if you're joking or serious", you said.

He took your hand in his and smiled at you before placing a kiss on your cheek, making you blush.He chuckled at your reaction, rubbing the back of his neck.

"So what do you say?", he asked.

"I would like nothing more", you said, smiling.

The next day, his manager was happy to hear that you were no longer working for Hoshi But was upset to hear that you two were now together. Though you weren't allowed in or near the building, you didn't mind as long as you were with Hoshi.
