What were the chances you'd be on a blind date with your old best friend? Apparently very high considering it was what was happening right now to Jack and Mark. They sat at the table, looking up at eachother. Marks eyes still glistened when he saw Jack. He hadn't changed much; Expect the colour of his hair which was neon green. Jack looked into the familiar eyes of his old best friend, He had changed rather a lot, from the blue in his hair to the muscle on his arms. The conversation flowing smoothly as they haven't seen each other in five years.
Mark.swallowed, looking at his food.
"W-What happened with you and your wife?"
Jack gave a sigh, it was only a matter of time before she was brought up. He cleared is throat; "Ahem, I'm divorced actually..."
Mark tried to hide his smile. You see, After Jacks wedding Mark couldn't bare to talk to Jack. It was painful seeing as he was truly in love with the Irishman and decided to stay away from him otherwise he'd get too jealous and ruin there friendship, it was better that way.
"Oh sorry to hear that, Jack."
"Don't be, she was a gold digging bitch." Jack winked at Mark, trying not to seem TOO bitter.
The rest if the night was filled with laughter, innuendos and alcohol. Mark had missed these times with Jack. Now that he was back in his life again Mark didn't want to let him go. As they tipsily stumbled out of the restaurant Mark finally got what he wanted to say out after 10 years. "Jack, I love you. I always have that's why I cut contact with you after the wedding I couldn't handle seeing you with someone else, it was childish. I tried to get over you too by dating other people but that didn't work either, I ended up just hurting people. I'm so sorry." Jack hugged him almost knocking Mark on his feet. "I love yeh too. Getting Married was never a good idea. I convinced myself I wasn't good enough for you and you'd never love me back, so I got married hoping to hide the feelings I had for you. It was stupid and I regret it. I'm sorry too." Mark then kissed Jack, something he'd been wanting to do for so long. Not only that but Jack kissed back. Another dream of Marks come true.
