He sat, lonely as usual in his room - His eyes puffy from crying. The Irishman's parents worked often leaving him alone often and he never truly had friends and his loneliness got the better of him. He was scrolling through the weird side of the internet again, not really sure how he got here. He was looking at rituals, "Sell your soul to Satan, get a lifetime friend. Summing Ritual found here;
There was a link, highlighted in blue. Jack never really needed his soul right? No, but he definitely needed a friend. He gathered items to preform the ritual, and light candles in a circle. After waiting a few moments, nothing. He let out a sigh and blew out the candles - Stupid false rituals. He cursed himself for being so stupid. After blowing out the last candle the room was plunged into darkness and a figure appeared, its silhouette menacing. Jack rubbed his eyes as the began to focus on the demon in front of him.
"Young, Naive, Lonely boy. Sell me your soul and I'll protect you.~" Jack shivered, his tongue caught in his throat as he nodded. The demon stepped forward, His fiery red hair and horns to go with appeared to not be very sharp although Jack was sure they were. After agreeing in words, the demon left a small M-Shaped mark in Jacks skin, which stung. In a way, it was relieving not finally not be alone.
The demon felt sympathy for this poor boy, a victim of loneliness a very dark tunnel indeed, perhaps worse than hell itself. The boy had gone to great lengths just for a friend, including selling his soul to Satan himself. What was so wrong with the world that a young, poor boy had to summon a demon to not feel so alone? It hurt Mark really, what a damned soul.
-.
Jack, had given up as he picked up the rope. He had had enough of this lonely cruel harsh world. He left notes for his parents, those were the only ones that would notice he was gone.
Suddenly, Darkness. Peace, at last. Perhaps among the dead, he wouldn't be so alone anymore. However The Demon he'd given his soul too arrived in his room, helping the poor boy down. "No, no no no!" He yelled, cradling the damned soul in his arms. He had to do something, anything. He took the soul to hell, not caring if he belonged here or not. The boy woke, yelling and screaming in a panic, still in the demons arms. "You're awake, good."
"What is going on?"
"You're in hell, You're now my second in command." Jack shook his head, was this death? Was this some odd none brutal hell? "I don't understand." "You're a demon, of sorts. I couldn't leave your soul damned." "I thought demons don't feel things?" "Hey, I was a person once too."
Well, At least He wasn't alone anymore.
