The next morning-

Jessica didn't get any sleep that night. She was head over heels for her new son. He was the most precious little baby. She couldn't believe her eyes that this was all real. Nothing seemed real in this moment. She was in such a daze and words couldn't describe how happy she was. She felt like she was at an all time high.

Everyone put their differences aside and celebrated their new family member. Danny, Dorthy, and Albert loved him just as much as Jessica and didn't want their drama and now hatred to get in the way.

Jessica still didn't believe how it was possible to fall so quickly for someone she had just met. Danny felt the same. He was so grateful for his son. It really reminded him why he needed to
Keep working on himself, for his children. All he wanted was to be present and have his family back.

"Aww, why do you always scrunch your face after mommy feeds you, little guy? Does it not taste good? Are you full? I just don't know! What I do know is that you're the cutest little fella!" Jessica smiles as she begins to burp the baby

"I can't get over what a cutie he is! I love him." Danny says handing her a blanket.

"I know, me too... Scarlett and Wyatt are spitting images of you, but I have to say this little guy looks just like his mama! Huh, don't you?" She says in a sweet baby voice

Danny watches as Jessica cares for their newborn and he couldn't help but fall in love more and more. He loved Jessica to the moon and back... watching her mother their children made him even more in love with her.

She caught Danny in a stare and cleared her throat. "Are you excited to tell everyone his name? I think we picked a good one."

"Yes! I think they'll love it."

"Yeah, you get to meet your brother and sister today! They can't wait to meet you! Ahh, you're all going to be best friends I'm so excited!" Jessica squeals

Her baby boy smiles up at his mother and scrunches his face.

Dorthy and Albert drove back home to relieve Ann from toddler duty and bring Scarlett and Wyatt to the hospital. Until then, Jessica and Danny were getting their alone time with the baby.

"I think maybe we all need a little nappy before everyone comes. What do you think?" Jessica says as he slowly starts to drift off

"Here, I'll take him. You rest." He says reaching for the baby

"Are you sure?" Jessica says with a yawn

"Yes, you haven't slept in twenty four hours. When the twins get here it will be chaos.

"Okay, thank you." She says

As she closes her eyes she watches Danny rock back and forth staring at the baby. It melted her heart.

A few hours later Dorthy and Albert arrive at the hospital with the twins. Dorthy picked up some flowers and let Scarlett and Wyatt pick a gift for their new baby brother. Along with Dorthy and the twins was Ann and Jane who couldn't wait another minute to meet the baby. Zoe and John came too. It was a big gathering at the hospital but Danny and Jessica didn't mind. They couldn't wait to show off the baby.

"Baby brother! Baby brother!"
Scarlett and Wyatt cheer as they skip down the hallway

"They are so excited!" Zoe giggles

"Aren't we all! Oh Zoe, he's the cutest!" Dorthy smiles

"Scarlett and Wyatt are obviously going to be the best big siblings ever. The little teddy bears they picked out for him are so precious." Jane says

"I'm ready to find out the name! Jessica hasn't spilled to anyone!" Ann huffs

"I forgot he had a name! Everyone refers to him as baby boy." Albert chuckles

"Okay, here we are. Room 206! Scarlett, Wyatt, are you ready?" Dorthy whispers

They slowly walk to the door and put their fingers over their lips.

"Yes." They whispers

"Soft, quiet voices, okay?" Dorthy says

"Yes! Open please!" Scarlett says holding the handle.

Dorthy slowly opens the door. Scarlett and Wyatt come running into the room. Jessica and Danny sat in the bed with the baby waiting for them to come.

"Mama! Dada!" Wyatt says. Both Scarlett and Wyatt were shocked to see Danny. It had been so long.

"Hey, monkeys!" Danny picks them both up and gives them hugs

"Baby brother!" Scarlett points

Danny sets them down next to Jessica and she gives them the biggest hugs.

"Here He is. What do you guys think?" Jessica smiles

Everyone swarms around her and gazed at the beautiful blonde haired boy.

"He's gorgeous, Jessica! Just gorgeous!" Zoe cries

"Finally, a kid that looks like you!" Jane jokes

"He's so cute!" Scarlett squeals

"I think so too." Danny says to her

"Can I touch?" Wyatt says

"Yes, but be gentle..." Jessica whispers

Wyatt 'pets' his head and smiles. He felt so special

"So, what's his name?" John smiles

Jessica and Danny look at the baby, each other, then everyone else.

"Everyone meet Jack Finley Huston." Jessica smiles

"Jack! I love it! And Finley. How cute!" Dorthy says

"So adorable! It fits him too." Zoe smiles

"Scarlett, Wyatt, and Jack." Danny says proudly

"It was a toss up between a few, but jack just went so well." Jessica says

"Why don't we let them hold Jack?" Danny says

Jessica nods and let's Danny take Jack. Jessica situates the twins and puts pillows around them.

Danny slowly places Jack right in Scarlett and Wyatt's hands. Together they hold the baby and smile and giggle.

Jessica couldn't help but cry. She was so in love. Her heart was swelling.

"Mama, look!" Scarlett whispers

It was a beautiful moment for everyone to watch. Scarlett and Wyatt's smiles were priceless. Their faces lit up and they felt so proud to hold their little brother.

"I see! Look at what a good sister and brother you are." Jessica sniffles

"He very small." Wyatt whispers

"Mhm! You and sissy used to be that small." Danny chuckles

"What? No!" Wyatt shakes his head

"Oh yes! So small!" Danny chuckles

"I love you!" Scarlett whispers to Jack

"Awww!" Everyone smiles then slowly begins to tear up

"Scarlett, that's so sweet!" Jessica says kissing the top of her head

"You too mama!"

"Aww, baby. I love you." Jessica says kissing her cheek

The next day-

Jessica was lucky enough to be out of the hospital as soon as possible. She was exhausted to say they least. She never did well in hospitals so it was hard to sleep. And Jack kept her up at night of course. Before she was discharged she had a few extra hours in the hospital. Danny took Scarlett and Wyatt back to Dorthy and Alberts since they spent lots of time at the hospital with Jessica. He planned on stopping to get Jessica some take out then coming straight back to the hospital. So, until Danny came back it was just her and little jack.

"I wonder if you're going to be a little chunk like your brother! You sure do love to eat." Jessica says as she feeds him

He flutters his eyes and stops. "Oh, did I make you self conscious?" Jessica giggles

As she cleans herself and the baby up she hears a knock on the door.

"Come in!" She says happily

Slowly, Sam enters the room with a bouquet of Jessica's favorite flowers and a cup of her favorite coffee.

"Sam! Oh my gosh, you're here! I had the baby, can you tell?" She jokes

Jessica perks up and sits with the baby in her arms. Sam smiles as walks over to her.

"Wow, Jessica, He looks just like you." He says looking down at the baby

"What's all this?" Jessica says taking the flowers and coffee

"Just a little 'Congrats' gift." He smiles

"You didn't have to do that! Thank you. And Lilly's, my favorite!"

"And a hot Carmel mocha."

"You know me too well. Lord only knows how much coffee I will be needing these next few weeks." Jessica says

"Can I hold him?" Sam asks happily

"Yes! He's so small." Jessica says slowly handing Jack to Sam.

Sam carefully holds little jack in his arms and bounces him lightly. Sam fell in love with this baby too, and he wasn't even his. But that didn't matter.

"His name?" Sam asks

"Jack, what do you think?"

"It's cute and very fitting." Sam smiles

"I'm glad you like it! Danny originally thought it was an old man name. My heart has been set on this name ever since I found out I was having another boy."

"I guess everyone ran away?" He says looking at the empty room

"Yeah, I needed my space anyways. But I'm glad you came. Thank you again for helping me out. I also heard you stayed behind the whole night..." Jessica says softly

Sam was a little bit embarrassed. He had no idea that Jessica knew.

He clears his throat and nods "yeah, I was worried..." he says

Jessica bows her head and blushes. She couldn't handle how caring Sam was.

"How do you feel? You look great."

"I feel like shit, but this little guy makes my heart so happy that it doesn't matter. It was worth it." She giggles

"Hey little Jack, you look just like your mama!" Sam chuckles

Jack smiles at Sam and opens his big eyes. "Ahh, and blue eyes!" He says

"Blonde hair too." Jessica says proudly

"Wow, what a handsome little guy."

Then, Sam sits on the bed next to Jessica. She leans in close to Sam and they both stare at the beautiful baby boy.

Their beautiful moment was soon interrupted by a harsh huff coming from the doorway.

Sam and Jessica both look over to see Danny standing at the door with the car seat. He was clearly pissed.

Sams heart begins to race. He hands the baby back to Jessica and stands up. Jessica was nervous too.

"Hey, Sam came to see the baby." Jessica says playing it cool

"I see that." He says slamming the car seat down.

"Congrats on the baby. He's precious." Sam says holding out his hand

Jessica stands back and hopes Danny doesn't pull anything stupid.

Danny disses the hand shake and walks up to Sam.

"Why are you here, man? Do you just like popping in when things are bad?" Danny hisses

"Danny, Stop." Jessica says sternly

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to congratulate Jessica. I'll leave if you want me to."

"Yeah, that would be nice if you would go. Leave her alone."

"Daniel! He's doing nothing wrong! I can't believe you!" Jessica says

"No, Jess, it's fine. If Danny is uncomfortable I will leave. I'll talk to you later." Sam says grabbing his jacket

"No, Sam, stay." Jessica says

"What, are you back with him now?" Danny asks

Jessica rolls her eyes. "Sam, I'm sorry." Jessica says with tears in her eyes

"No, it's fine... I shouldn't have come. Congrats again, Jess. He's beautiful." Sam bows his head and leaves the room. When he's gone Jessica stares Danny down with the most angered look.

"I can't believe you."

"I'm sorry."

"Oh shove it, Danny! He did nothing wrong!" Jessica yells

Then, the baby starts to cry. Jessica tries to sooth Jack but his screams get louder and louder.

"He just puts me on the edge."

"Why? Can't he just be nice?" Jessica says harshly

"You're mine, not his." Danny blurts

"You don't own me, Danny. No one does."

"I didn't mean it like-"

"And to think, things were going well. I was giving you a chance to prove yourself."

He sighs and sits down on the chair with his head in his hands. He was so angry with himself for messing up yet again.
