The next morning-

Jessica and Danny were up early with the twins. After the whole blow up when Scarlett fell, everyone branched off and went to bed. It was a bit awkward for everyone seeing them fight and Danny blowing up on Jessica. But Jessica and Danny just needed a breather. They were both under and enormous amount of stress. They were each other's only outlet to really let it all out.

"Danny, did you give her the medicine?" Jessica asks as she pulls out Scarlett's sweet yogurt. Usually this wouldn't be Scarlett's breakfast, but her doctors started her on a ketogenic diet. So she mostly eats all fats and sweets.

"Yes." He says coming up to Jessica

They look into each other's eyes, then Jessica falls into his arms.

"I'm sorry, Danny. I really am." She says

"I am too. I shouldn't have blown up the way I did."

"I just want to protect them... especially Scarlett. I got scared and that seizure on top of it all didn't help. I know it's our new normal, but every time it happens I get scared. I never know what's it going to be. A grand mal, tonic or absence seizure! They're all bad. It's just another to put in her log book which kills me."

"I should have been more careful... I wasn't thinking, really. You know, Scarlett's been a whole different girl. She doesn't want to do anything. When I saw her get up and run around I didn't really think. I just wanted her to have fun. Then it all slipped my mind and everything felt normal for those fifteen minutes. I'm just desperate for normal to come back." He pleas

Jessica sighs and turns to the twins who were sitting in their high chairs eating, then back at Danny. She looked into his eyes and saw the desperation. He could see Jessica's desperation for their normal life to come back too.

"But I know things will be back to normal soon. We'll be seeing so many doctors in Maryland! Some from all over too, so we will have multiple opinions, which is what you want. And then, they will come up with a plan to help her, control the seizures, bring or girl back. And then, we'll be home with little Wyatt and Scarlett, building back up our life. And Jessica, I'm ready to marry you. We can get married, anywhere you want. No people, some people, the whole world I don't care. But lastly, we can try again for a baby. I want to have so many little munchkins with you! Five, seven, ten!"

Jessica starts to giggle at Danny's enthusiasm and kisses him continuously. "I love you, Danny."

"Don't you want to have hundreds of kids too?"

Jessica nods her head and looks at the twins. "Maybe two or three more."

"That's fine! The more the better!" He says

Then, they hear someone clear their throat. It was George standing at the front of the kitchen. He looked nervous and a bit sleep deprived.

"Hey George." Danny smiles

Jessica just looks at him and sighs.

"I'm really sorry for last night... is Scarlett okay?" He asks nervously

"She's alright, just a little bump." Jessica says

"I freaked out when she fell... I should have been more careful."

"We're all at fault here, George. Don't sweat it. No one is mad."

"Is was a spur of the moment thing. I didn't mean to freak on you, and I'm sorry."

"So she's good?" He asks

"Babies take spills. She'll be fine."

Scarlett and Wyatt's Second Birthday-

The morning was filled with so much joy. All negative things and stressors were set aside. Everyone wanted to make today the best day for the twins. The party was going to be at the house. Danny's family, friends, co-workers, and friends from pre-school were expected to come for the day. Everything was set up and ready to go. Jessica was so excited, but it was of course bittersweet. Her twins were growing up so fast, it all happened in the blink of an eye.

"Happy birthday my little monkeys!" Jessica says rushing into the nursery. They were both standing up in their cribs with their binkies jumping for joy.

"Bif day!" Wyatt says once Jessica takes him out of his crib. She hugs them both tight in her arms and kisses them over and over.

"Mommy loves her little two year old monkies!" Jessica giggles

"Y's bif day!" Scarlett exclaims

"Yep! And it's yours too!"

"Wow!" Wyatt says

Danny comes in and the twins run over to him. "Bif day, Bif day!" The both say

"Yes... I know! Happy birthday babies!" Danny says

"I can't believe how grown up they are..." Jessica pouts

"Big boy!"

"That's right, Wyatt. You're a big boy! Nanny and Poppy are here! Go say hi!" Danny's parents flew in late last night just in time for the party.

"Yay!" They run out of the room. Jessica sighs and hugs Danny.

"Time goes so fast!"

"Yeah, it's crazy... before you know it they'll have cars!"

"Oh no they won't!"

....

"John, Zoe, we are so glad you were able to make it." Jessica says greeting them after the twins are done saying hello

"We wouldn't miss any of this for the world!" She smiles

Things were a bit awkward having everyone together. Mostly because of the whole run-away situation. It was just hard for everyone to understand and forget. But because they wanted it to be a nice day for everyone, Danny and Jessica wanted to avoid to Maryland conversation and keep the miscarriage to themselves.

"You look great, Jessica. So glad we got to come." John says kissing her cheek

"Those little ones are growing up so fast! Look at them running around and having the time of their lives!" Zoe says

Jessica giggles then nods her head. "Yep! Terrible twos, here we come!" Jessica sighs

"But how is Scarlett doing? With the seizures? When was her last episode?" Zoe asks

Jessica clears her throat and looks to Danny. "It will be under control soon, ma. But for now, we just want to not think about it." He says politely

"Yes, lets enjoy the day. All happy thoughts." John says

"Mamma!" Wyatt yells

Jessica excuses herself and goes to him. "Yes baby?"

"We wants gifs." He says pointing to a few gifts set out for them last night.

"Excuse me mister! We are going to wait until your party."

"Now mama, pwease!" Scarlett whines

"It won't hurt to let them open one! Here little ones. This is from Grammy and Grandpa!" Dorthy says leaning in and grabbing two small boxes

"Yay!" Scarlett smiles

"But no more after this!" Jessica says

The twins open the gifts and inside were just some little toys. They were head over heels for them.

"What do you say?" Danny says

"Shanks!"

"Thanks" Jessica says

"Tanks!" Scarlett corrects herself

Jessica smiles and gives Scarlett and Wyatt a kiss.

"My precious little prince and princess!"

Around noon all of the guest had arrived and it was a full house. Jessica was running around chasing after the twins, along with the other parents and their little babies. Scarlett and Wyatt were having a blast, and the adults were too. Danny and Jessica had a little BBQ. Everyone was enjoying themselves and the day turned out to be beautiful.

Towards the end of the party Dorthy and Zoe brought out the two little cakes for the twins. One was decorated with Mikey mouse and the other was Minnie.

Everyone began to sing happy birthday and they all started to clap along.

"Yay! Happy birthday!" Jessica and Danny run over and help blow out the candles.

"Happy bif day!" Wyatt says to Scarlett

"Happy bif day!" Scarlett says back

"Aww danny! Look how adorable our little babies are!" Jessica pouts

"We are so fucking lucky." He whispers in her ear.

Two days later-

The trip to Maryland was less than twenty four hours away. Jessica and Danny's nerves were both through the roof. The night before they left they took Dorthy, Albert, Sarah, George, and Wyatt to the airport. He would be spending time in Minnesota while Jessica and Danny were gone with Scarlett. The twins have never been away from each other like this before, so it would be interesting. But this trip was no trip that Wyatt would enjoy. And he deserved all the attention in the world, especially at a time like this.

"Mama comin?" Wyatt asks as Jessica gathers up the rest of his toys

"No baby! You're getting your own special trip!"

"But I want you!" He pouts

Jessica immediately begins to tear up. She kneels down next to him and gives him a little hug. "Aww, baby. I want you too... but you'll have so much fun, and see us all soon! And when you see us, Scarlett will be all better!"

"No more shaking?"

"No more." She smiles

"I love you!"

"I love you too, my sweetie pie!"

That night-

"I think everything is all set, babe. We have every bag packed. All of her medicine, doctor records, and seizure log that I put in your purse for the flight  just in case." He says breathlessly

Jessica sits at the edge of the bed in silence. Her stomach was in nots.

Danny sits down next to her and rubs her back. "It will be okay..."

"I just want this to work."

"So many doctors will be on her case. It will, Jess."

Jessica nods then quickly has the urge to vomit. She grabs her stomach, stands up, and runs to the bathroom. Danny follows her back and holds her hair.

"Are you okay?" He asks

Jessica takes a breather before she gets sick again and wipes her face. "I'm so nervous." She says as her eyes begin to water

"Me too..."

Jessica then gets sick again. This ended up happening for the rest of the night. Her nerves ate her alive.
