An important note: the plot of this book is 100% based on the Shadow and Bone show. However, I included a lot on information from the books, especially the Six of Crows books since I feel Ketterdam really got flatted in the show. Things like Per Haskell, the Komedie Brute, and Fifth Harbor. So, if something happens you think I added in, no, I didn't. It's canon - just from the book.

NEW IMPORTANT NOTE: So, season 2 has confirmed that they're doing doing something different with all this stuff. As of now (end of March 2023) I am updating everything to reflect that. Mainly removing mentions of the Dregs because they're now their own thing (dumb, but whatever) because the Komedie Brute is still a thing. I might switch Fifth Harbor but for now I'm doing minor changes, not rewriting an entire scene. (Yes it is only one scene, but it's like the first scene I need to change, and I don't want to wait to fix other stuff until I can make a whole new idea.) 

Unchanged chapters are marked with an *. The * will be removed when I finish updating it. That will hopefully show you where the new version ends and the old version begins, to keep it from being confusing.
