III

"Let go!" My teeth clenched as I tired hard to breathe. My body confined in white as those bastards laughed like the demons they are.

"Let go!" My head thrashed against the wall. Over and over again.

"Let go!" My body forced to the ground.

"Let go!" My voice roared so loud, there was a tremble in my throat. The thunder in my storm. Lightning exploded from within and I fell. Though the padding was soft, I fell hard. My body a meaning shell of what it used to be. My soul, a wreck as I heaved for air. I was dying inside.

"Foolish wretch!" I heard the right wall shout. For a moment, I looked at it but nothing was there.

"What?" My eyes barely able to stay awake as I pulled myself to the left wall.

"You're pathetic!" It screamed out.

"Stop..." My head began to spin as the room filled with voices upon voices.

"You're nothin' but trash!"

"Crazy bitch!"

"Who do you think you even are?"

"Failed abortion."

"Stupid freak."

"The biggest mistake to humanity that's ever lived!"

"Enough!" I screamed out as my voice burst with my heart throbbing in pain. The walls quit talking while I slowly looked around. Everything moving gently like snow, though just like that white substance, I fell too. This time, I was gone. The world went black. Fading in and fading out. I laid there in silence while my ears rung endlessly, even once the flashing alarm lights called my name.

"Lochner is down, I repeat; Lochner is down!" Those words softened as the empire collapsed. The dim light above, no longer there. My arms pulled away. My dignity pulled away. Nothing was left. Nothing but fire. A special kind of fire that burned like the bush. A saving grace laced within the ultimate loss.

"Hey!" The last guard screamed as I bolted away. The other two down on their knees like gutless cowards in need of a miracle. Well not today, you demons... Not ever.

"Stop him!" Their shrill cries echoed through the halls. "Stop him now!"
